Wed Mar 9 201122:18Biedrins starts, outplayed by Udoh
Andris Biedrins returned to the starting lineup on Wednesday and had four points and five rebounds in 24 minutes.
Ekpe Udoh came off the bench for six points, five rebounds and a block, which is better than he was doing as a starter. This move could help both players, but they're only worth a look in deep leagues. Biedrins looks like a shell of his former self these days, and isn't even worth holding in most leagues.

Wed Mar 9 201119:17Andris Biedrins back in starting lineup
Andris Biedrins will replace Ekpe Udoh in the starting lineup for the Wolves on Wednesday.
The Udoh experiment didn't go well, although Biedrins isn't a lock to be any better than he was before the benching. Just keep an eye on him.

Thu Mar 3 201109:39Biedrins has no problem with demotion
Andris Biedrins said he has no problem coming off the bench behind Ekpe Udoh because "I'm not feeling myself."
Biedrins' english may be shaky, but it's not nearly as troubling as his game on the court. Biedrins was averaging 3.5 points and 5.9 rebounds in his last 11 starts, so the move to the bench was inevitable. A poor bet to reclaim his job from the rookie, Biedrins can safely be dropped in all formats.

Tue Mar 1 201123:18Biedrins held scoreless in 13 minutes
Andris Biedrins did not score on four shot attempts with five rebounds and no other statistics in 13 minutes on Tuesday.
If you haven't dropped him yet, here's your sign. He may end up having value again, but it's certainly not worth hanging around to find out.

Wed Feb 23 201103:07Biedrins, Udoh locked in timeshare
Andris Biedrins played just 21 minutes on Tuesday, scoring four points on 2-of-5 shooting with five rebounds, three steals, and one block.
A time-share has emerged with Ekpe Udoh, who scored six points on 1-of-5 shooting with six rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in 26 minutes. Both of them are worth watching if you need blocks, but in most formats aren't worth owning right now.
Wed Feb 16 201102:24Biedrins worth dropping with Udoh cutting in
Andris Biedrins scored four points on 2-of-3 shooting with five rebounds and a block in 17 minutes on Tuesday.
His playing time has taken a major dip recently due to the increase in time for Ekpe Udoh, and owners should feel free to drop him for a hot free agent. He is averaging just 4.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, a steal, and a block over 20 mpg in six February contests.
Thu Feb 10 201101:58Biedrins grabs 12 boards in win
Andris Biedrins had six points, 12 rebounds, two steals and zero blocks in Wednesday's win.
He was awful on Monday against the Suns, but is playing well enough to be owned and started in many leagues. He didn't block a shot tonight, but they're coming. Just beware that he cannot make a free throw, and is now 9-of-25 on the season. The good news is that he doesn't shoot enough of them to really hurt you.
Tue Feb 8 201104:36Biedrins gets shut down against the Suns
Andris Biedrins scored just two points on 1-of-1 shooting with three rebounds and one steal in 17 foul-plagued minutes on Monday against the Suns.
The Suns can take opposing centers out of the game due to their small lineups, but any way you slice this outing it's yet another step back for him and his owners. He has his utility for blocks and boards, but is not a must-own player because of nights like these.
Fri Feb 4 201101:45Biedrins continues strong play
Andrs Biedrins blocked three more shots Thursday to go with 10 boards and just six points.
He has strung together three decent games in a row and is worth a look if you need either a center or just blocks and boards.
Wed Feb 2 201111:42Biedrins was in danger of getting minutes cut
Coach Keith Smart confirmed that he threatened to reduce Andris Biedrins' minutes significantly if the center didn't start performing better.
Biedrins was barely hanging on to his role, but then responded with two straight double-doubles on Friday and Sunday. Still, it's worth noting that Smart is willing to go to Ekpe Udoh more and more if Biedrins regresses again.

Mon Jan 31 201100:41Biedrins double-doubles again on Sunday
Andris Biedrins had another quiet double-double on Sunday with 11 points and 10 rebounds, adding one steal and three blocks in 26 minutes.
Biedrins has yet to put together a solid month this season, as his confidence and aggressiveness have been missing. He's warming up now, though, and is worth a stash if you're in need of rebounds, high FG%, and blocks. And just because it's fun to highlight, remember that he's a combined 12-of-49 from the FT line over the past two seasons.
Sat Jan 29 201102:28Biedrins comes to life against Kwame
Andris Biedrins had his best line in recent memory Friday with 10 points, 12 rebounds, a steal and a block in Friday's loss to the Bobcats.
Unfortunately, he won't be able to face Kwame Brown every night, but this game has to do wonders for his confidence. Feel free to pick him up, but we're not ready to say he's a must-own player unless he does this a couple more times. Just keep an eye on him.
Thu Jan 27 201101:52Biedrins stinks it up again on Wednesday
Andris Biedrins managed just two points and two rebounds in 16 minutes in Wednesday's loss.
Unfortunately, this isn't that weird of a line for AB, but is instead quite normal. Ekpe Udoh had four points and two rebounds in 12 minutes, but spent time on the floor with the starters late. It's possible he replaces Biedrins in the starting unit eventually, so keep an eye on this situation. And if you want to cut Biedrins for a guy like Chuck Hayes, Kwame Brown or Marcus Camby, go for it.
Mon Jan 17 201120:17Biedrins starting to show some signs
Andris Biedrins scored nine points on 4-of-6 shooting with seven rebounds and three blocks against the Nets on Monday.
This is the first noise he has made since returning from a sprained ankle, and the better news is that he made a number of big plays in the game. This might now be enough to convince most owners to activate him, but that time could be coming if he keeps this up.
Thu Jan 13 201112:03Biedrins barely shooting for Warriors
Andris Biedrins is averaging just 2.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in the four games since returning from an ankle injury.
Biedrins isn't even looking for his shot as he hasn't attempted more than two in any of the four games. For what it's worth, the Warriors want to get Biedrins more involved. "I need to look for him more," Stephen Curry said. "I've got to find him some easy buckets," David Lee said. Biedrins is locked in as a starter, but we'd leave him reserved until he finds a groove offensively.

Wed Jan 12 201110:09Biedrins locked in as starter for Warriors
Coach Keith Smart confirmed that Andris Biedrins is "locked into" his starting five.
Smart brushed off ideas that he should be toying with his lineup to get better results. He noted that the starting five of Biedrins, Steph Curry, Monta Ellis, Dorell Wright and David Lee really haven't played together very much due to injury. Look for Biedrins to settle in to a 26-28 minute comfort zone nightly, making him a low-end but viable fantasy play.

Sat Jan 8 201109:53Biedrins quiet again on Friday
Andris Biedrins had two points and eight rebounds on Friday, in his second game back from a sprained left ankle.
Biedrins' has been having a quiet year, averaging less than a block per game while shooting his customarily awful percentage from the FT line. He's worth stashing away but shouldn't be activated in fantasy leagues until we see him playing well.
Thu Jan 6 201100:10Biedrins makes quiet appearance for GSW
Andris Biedrins returned to action from a foot injury and started on Wednesday, but finished with just four points and two rebounds in 13 minutes.
Baby steps. Biedrins will be worked back into the groove slowly, and if you want to drop him for a guy like DeAndre Jordan, it would have made sense to do so when Biedrins was in street clothes. Whether he returns to form is anyone's guess, but the odds are not in his favor.
Wed Jan 5 201119:11Biedrins to return Wednesday vs. Hornets
Andris Biedrins is expected to play on Wednesday against the Hornets.
He's been out for weeks with a foot injury and may have been dropped in your league recently. He's not a must-own player, but might be useful if you're desperate at center.

Tue Jan 4 201114:11Biedrins practices, could return Wednesday
Warriors center Andris Biedrins (ankle) went through all of Tuesday's practice and could return vs. the Hornets on Wednesday.
Biedrins has missed the past nine games with his injury and will of course be rusty. He was averaging a disappointing 6.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks before going down, and we're not expecting much better in the near future.
