Sun Mar 10 201319:12Earl Clark has a so-so effort vs. Chicago
Earl Clark shot 5-of-13 from the field for 11 points with five boards and one 3-pointer in Sunday's 90-81 win over the Bulls.
He only played 23 minutes. It hasn't been pretty for Clark and his offensive holes are becoming very apparent lately. He has moved himself out of ownership in some leagues and the Lakers don't have a great schedule going forward. On a non-fantasy note, the Lakers are over .500 and are likely headed to the playoffs.

Sat Mar 9 201304:33Clark's freefall continues against TOR
Earl Clark's free-fall continued on Friday against the Raptors, as he played just 18 minutes and finished with two points, two rebounds and two assists.
Clark has really fallen off the map lately and we wouldn't blame owners for dropping him for a hot free agent. Just keep in mind that the Lakers are shallow, so keep an eye on Clark from the wire to see if he can pick it up.

Wed Mar 6 201323:17Earl Clark falls off vs. the Hornets
Earl Clark didn't make any of his four field goal attempts and finished with five points, two boards, three assists and one steal in 22 minutes against the Hornets on Wednesday.
He was coming off a double-double, but this is a tough pill to swallow for Clark. He was struggling before Tuesday's game and he's no longer a must-own player.

Wed Mar 6 201301:27Earl Clark plays well despite benching
Earl Clark had 13 points, 11 rebounds and a block on 3-of-8 shooting in 30 minutes on Tuesday, but was benched to start the second half in favor of Antawn Jamison.
Clark had five turnovers tonight, all of which came in the first half, and which were probably responsible for the benching. He still easily outplayed Jamison and had his best game since his last double-double, way back on Feb. 20. Maybe he's ready to get it going again, as he had scored eight or fewer points in four straight games before tonight's mini-explosion. The bottom line is that with a four-game week coming up (followed a two-gamer), both Clark and Jamison are worth owning in many leagues.

Fri Mar 1 201301:35Earl Clark plays 30 minutes in win Thursday
Earl Clark provided some nice defense with three steals and two blocks to go with just four points, four boards and four assists in 30 minutes against the Wolves on Thursday.
The month of February began loaded with promise over his first six games, averaging 11.8 points, 9.7 board and 1.3 blocks in 38.3 minutes. Things went south in Clark's six games that followed, though, averaging only 9.0 points, 6.5 boards and 0.5 blocks. The four points tonight are a turn-off, but he's still getting minutes and doing enough to justify being owned in most leagues.

Tue Feb 26 201301:34Earl Clark struggles against the Nuggets
Earl Clark struggled against the Nuggets on Monday, scoring eight points on 4-of-9 shooting with one rebound, one steal and one block in 23 minutes.
Clark's problem was exemplified by the 78 points in the paint the Nuggets scored, and owners will likely want to exercise patience given the Lakers' dearth of big men, despite his recent struggles. Should you come across a must-start free agent, feel free to make a move, however.

Sun Feb 24 201316:14Earl Clark quiet in 29 minute vs. Dallas
Earl Clark played 29 minutes in Sunday's 103-99 win over the Mavericks with six points, six boards, two assists and one steal.
It was the first time he didn't take a 3-pointer since January 15 and his three turnovers were his highest total since February 1. This was one of Clark's worst games on both ends of the floor, but he an do it all and he should bounce back against the Nuggets on Monday. The Lakers have three games this upcoming week and Clark should be in most lineups.

Sat Feb 23 201315:34Earl Clark (finger) will play Sunday
Earl Clark (pinkie) will play against the Mavericks on Sunday.
There was never really a concern here. Clark was shaking his hand in pain during the fourth quarter of Friday's game, but the game never even stopped and he played through it. Clark's scoring numbers have come down, but he's providing great defensive stats to go with some threes and rebounding. He should be owned in all leagues.

Sat Feb 23 201302:51Clark suffers left pinkie sprain
Earl Clark suffered a left pinkie sprain in Friday's game, but stayed in the game and finished with 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds and one block.
Nobody is concerned about the injury in L.A. so neither are we. Clark should be owned in most formats.

Thu Feb 21 201302:14Earl Clark has career-high 16 boards in win
Earl Clark hit 6-of-14 shots for 14 points, a career-high 16 rebounds, a steal and block in Wednesday's win.
His foot injury appears to be behind him and he bounced back from Thursday's 2-of-10 shooting performance, when he scored just four points to go along with seven rebounds. As long as Pau Gasol is out, which could be for the remainder of the regular season, Clark should be owned in almost all leagues.

Fri Feb 15 201301:33Earl Clark has a quiet game in loss
Earl Clark shot 2-of-10 from the field for four points with seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in 28 minutes against the Clippers on Thursday.
Antawn Jamison had a big night and Mike D'Antoni kept him going in an effort to stretch out the Clippers. Like most of D'Antoni's moves this year, it didn't work. Clark owners shouldn't be overly concerned and he's a must-own player in all leagues.

Wed Feb 13 201316:50Earl Clark practices, will play on Thursday
Earl Clark (sore right foot) practiced fully Wednesday and will play Thursday against the Clippers.
Clark only played 28 minutes Tuesday, but a whole range of tests on his foot produced a diagnosis of only inflammation. If he's healthy enough to practice, he should be ready to play his normal compliment of minutes, but we wouldn't be shocked if the Lakers hold him back a bit considering the All-Star break is upon us.

Wed Feb 13 201308:28Earl Clark dealing w/ right foot inflammation
Earl Clark has been diagnosed with inflammation in his sore right foot.
The X-Ray, MRI and CT Scan all came back negative, but it's worth noting that he is dealing with some inflammation, especially after playing just 28 minutes on Tuesday. Clark is playing consistent minutes for the first time in his NBA career, and we feel confident that the All-Star break will give him ample time to rest.

Wed Feb 13 201302:38Earl Clark plays through foot injury
Earl Clark played through his foot injury on Tuesday but had just 11 points and four rebounds in 28 minutes.
He also had three steals and a 3-pointer, but said prior to the game that he was worried he had a stress fracture until an MRI came back clean. The foot's been bothering him for some time, and he's played very well, so we fully expect him to bounce back from tonight's down game. And the All-Star break could do wonders for his health.

Tue Feb 12 201318:15MRI on Earl Clark's foot comes back clean
All tests on Earl Clark's sore foot came back negative and he will play in Tuesday's game against the Suns.
Clark underwent an X-ray, CT Scan and MRI Tuesday morning. The doctors are satisfied that the soreness in his foot is nothing more than day-to-day wear and tear. He'll start at power forward once again, this time against a Suns defense that ranks 29th in opponent's field-goal percentage. Clark has been a fantasy beast over the last six games, averaging 14.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, 1.2 steals and 0.7 3-pointers.

Tue Feb 12 201314:26Earl Clark headed for MRI on sore right foot
Earl Clark underwent an MRI on his sore right foot Tuesday.
Clark did not participate in the morning shootaround and the need for the MRI suggests serious pain. The Lakers say his status for Tuesday night's game against the Suns will be determined once the results of the MRI are evaluated. Note that if Clark sits out Tuesday and Thursday, he'll have a full eight days of recovery time before the next game thanks to the All-Star break. Antawn Jamison is a solid insurance add right now.

Sun Feb 10 201318:45Earl Clark goes for 18 in loss Sunday
Earl Clark scored 18 points with nine boards, one assist, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer against the Heat on Sunday.
It was his second game in a row with at least one steal, one block and one 3-pointer and he's also score at least 17 points in both games. Clark played 42 minutes on Sunday and he should be owned in every fantasy league.

Fri Feb 8 201323:10Clark goes for 17 and 10 against the Cats
Earl Clark went for 17 and 10 with two steals, a block, and a 3-pointer against the Bobcats on Friday.
Clark hit 7-of-14 shots and this gets him back on owners' good sides after a slow night on Thursday. He's a must-own player in all formats.

Thu Feb 7 201322:50Earl Clark scores just five points vs. BOS
Earl Clark played 34 minutes against the Celtics on Thursday and had five points, seven boards, one assist and two blocks.
He came in fairly hot and has earned the trust of his teammates and coach, so it will take a lot more than one bad game to not be excited about his opportunity. Clark has a versatile game on defense and has been multi-faceted on offense in his last 10 games, taking 63 percent of his shots within three feet or from distance. Clark also shot 50.5 percent from the field in that span and he should be owned in all leagues.

Wed Feb 6 201307:59D'Antoni: Clark has earned trust of everybody
Mike D'Antoni said that Earl Clark has "earned a lot of trust," and went on to say that Clark is "invaluable."
Kobe Bryant said the Lakers would be in "deep crap" without Clark. An afterthought in the Dwight Howard trade, Clark has proven his worth in a big way for the Lakers this season. On Tuesday, Clark had 14 points, 12 rebounds, a steal and a block in 40.5 minutes, his third straight game where he's logged a double-double. In a starting role, Clark is averaging 11.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 0.7 steals, 1.0 blocks and 0.9 treys on 48.4 percent shooting. He's a must-own player in every format with the injuries to the Lakers bigs and the opportunity D'Antoni has given him.
