Wed Apr 11 201212:25Jeremy Evans (ankle) won't play on Wednesday
Jeremy Evans (ankle) has been ruled out of Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Evans left Monday's game with the injury and didn't return, so this isn't a huge surprise. It's bad news for an injured Jazz team, but there is no fantasy value to be had here with Evans. Gordon Hayward, DeMarre Carroll and Alec Burks should all pick up some extra time in Evans' absence.

Sun Feb 26 201200:16Jeremy Evans wins insipid slam-dunk challenge
Jeremy Evans won the 2012 Slam-Dunk competition with a rather underwhelming 29 percent of fan votes.
The contest was insipid and was dominated, as usual, by gimmicks -- a glow-in-the-dark dunk, a first-person camera angle dunk, a dunk over P. Diddy, and so forth. Sunday's All-Star game will at least have more entertainment value and star power, after which we can return to covering meaningful games.

Wed Feb 22 201201:04Report: Jeremy Evans added to dunk contest
Several interet reports indicate that Jeremy Evans will replace Iman Shumpert (knee) in this weekend's dunk contest.
Shumpert's knee will be re-evaluated after the break, so it sounds like Evans will get the nod for one of All-Star Weekend's premier events.

Sat Jan 7 201220:25Jeremy Evans out w/ stomach virus
Jeremy Evans (stomach virus) will not dress for the Jazz on Saturday.
Evans has a minor role in Utah's rotation unless Paul Millsap gets injured, and his absence won't affect fantasy lineups.

Sun Mar 13 201100:28Jeremy Evans starts for injured Millsap
Jeremy Evans started for injured Paul Millsap (knee) on Saturday, playing 13 minutes on his way to two points on 1-of-2 shooting with one rebound and no other statistics.
He had a nice game in Friday's blowout loss with a team-high 14 points, but clearly he has a ways to go before he should be followed too closely in fantasy leagues. Millsap is questionable for Monday's game against the Sixers.

Fri Mar 11 201123:51Evans only Jazz starter in double figures
Jeremy Evans was the only Jazz starter to score in double figures on Friday in a blowout loss to the streaking Wolves.
Evans hit 6-of-7 shots in a start for injured Paul Millasp, finishing with 14 points, five rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in just 17 minutes. The Jazz were terrible again tonight and are a complete mess defensively, and have now lost 10 of their last 13 games.

Wed Mar 9 201111:19Rookie Evans will start for Jazz Wednesday
Jeremy Evans will start in place of Paul Millsap (knee) Wednesday.
The raw yet highly athletic Evans gets the nod over Derrick Favors due to his familiarity with the system. The second-round pick has some shot-blocking ability and can certainly dunk with the best of them, but we wouldn't consider an add. He'll likely split time with Favors and Millsap will be back soon.

Sat Nov 6 201020:23Evans (wrist) to be active on Saturday
Jeremy Evans (wrist) will be active for Saturday's game against the Clippers.
He plays a very small role off the bench, so fantasy owners should spend their time looking elsewhere.

Fri Nov 5 201013:29MRI confirms Jeremy Evans' sprained wrist
Jazz swingman Jeremy Evans had an MRI Thursday which confirmed that he has a sprained right wrist.
Evans is doubtful to play on Friday, which makes sense considering he's injured his shooting wrist and was already playing a small role off the bench.

Wed Nov 3 201012:44Evans questionable for Wednesday
Jazz backup G/F Jeremy Evans (wrist) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
Evans was Utah's second-round pick this year. He had 11 points on opening night but recorded a DNP-CD in the second game of the season.

Mon Nov 1 201012:35Jazz rookie day-to-day w/ sprained wrist
Jazz rookie Jeremy Evans (sprained right wrist) is day-to-day -- X-rays came back negative.
Evans won't practice on Monday and is questionable for Tuesday's game. It makes sense that he would rest for at least one game, since he wasn't a big part of the rotation anyway.
