Lindstrom had been shut down since last Tuesday, when he had a setback with his strained oblique. There's no timetable for his return to game action, but he hasn't been ruled out for Opening Day yet. "I'm not tentative, but I'm not real confident in it just yet," Lindstrom said. "It's one of those things where you want to fire it in there as hard as you can, but you don't want it to do what it did last time and take a step back." |

Cooper was extremely impressed with Lindstrom's bullpen session on Sunday, noting specifically how well the ball came out of his hand and the life on it. While Jones is the most talented of the bunch, it wouldn't be surprising to see Lindstrom begin the season with the ninth-inning role to build up his value before flipping him in a trade mid-season. |
