Wed Sep 9 201520:10Crawford out of lineup Wednesday due to back stiffness
Crawford is out of the lineup Wednesday due to back stiffness, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports.
There doesn't seem to be concern that it's a serious issue, as there's a chance Crawford could be available off the bench Wednesday, but the injury will cost Crawford at least one start and afford Scott Schebler an opportunity in left field. Crawford will hope two days off -- the Dodgers do not play Thursday -- will provide adequate rest and allow him to return for Friday's game.

Crawford went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in a 2-0 win over San Diego on Saturday.
It appeared that Crawford was losing his role for the Dodgers with the depth in the outfield, but he's been very good over the last week or so. Over the last six games, Crawford is 9-for-22 with three doubles, a homer, and two steals. With the injuries and struggles the other Dodgers outfielders have been dealing with, Crawford may be gaining standard mixed relevancy yet again.

Crawford went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a loss to San Diego on Thursday.
That is now back-to-back multi-hit games for Crawford and he appears to be gaining more playing time in the absence of Yasiel Puig. With how much Joc Pederson is struggling, Crawford should garner plenty of starts going forward.

Crawford went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in a 2-1 win over the Giants on Wednesday.
Crawford is not the player he once was, but he is a nice bench option for the Dodgers to face right-handers. The most promising sign for Crawford is that he has three steals over his last five games and that alone should indicate that he is 100-percent healthy for the first time this season.

Crawford will start in left field and bat leadoff in Wednesday's game against the Nationals.
With Jimmy Rollins out of the lineup, Crawford has been placed into the leadoff position for the first time this season. He is currently boasting a 2.86 batting average on just 14 at-bats in the month of August.

Crawford is in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Braves, according to David Vassegh of AM 570 LA reports.

Tue Jul 21 201514:47Crawford (oblique) reinstated from DL on Tuesday
Crawford (oblique) was reinstated from the DL on Tuesday.
As expected, the Dodgers will officially bring Crawford back from the 60-day DL in advance of Tuesday's contest. The former all-star fared well during a 10-game rehab stint, hitting .353 with two doubles, two triples and a home run, but he'll have trouble finding playing time in a crowded and talented Los Angeles outfield. With Andre Ethier, Joc Pederson and Yasiel Puig entrenched as starters, Crawford will likely settle for spot starts here and there, at least for the immediate future.

Mon Jul 20 201521:18Carl Crawford: (Oblique) Will Be Activated Tuesday
Crawford (oblique) will be activated from the 60-day disabled list on Tuesday, reports the Dodgers' official site.
Crawford was originally expected to be back Monday, but despite joining the team, he remained on the DL. Nonetheless, after a 10-game rehab stint during which Crawford hit a cumulative .353 with two doubles, two triples and a homer, he'll return to a crowded Dodgers outfield. Andre Ethier has hit well all year and spectacularly of late, and manager Don Mattingly has already said that he won't be displaced by Crawford's return. Nor will Joc Pederson or Yasiel Puig, so Crawford will have to take advantage of limited opportunities to force his way into the lineup.
Sun Jul 19 201511:54Carl Crawford: (Oblique) In Line For Monday Activation
Crawford (oblique) will join the Dodgers in Atlanta on Monday, Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Crawford has been out of action since April, but after posting a 1.012 OPS through 10 rehab appearances, the team believes he is ready to contribute. Manager Don Mattingly is used to working with a crowded outfield, but Andre Ethier may be most at risk of losing reps to the fellow left-hander.

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford is expected to be activated from the disabled list Monday after recovering from an oblique injury, according to ESPN.com.
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford is expected to be activated from the disabled list Monday after recovering from an oblique injury, according to ESPN.com. Crawford completed a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, and he will join up with the big club in Atlanta on Monday. He has been sidelined since April because of the injury, but had a 1.012 OPS in his 10 rehab appearances. The Dodgers have been using Yasiel Puig, Joc Pederson and Andre Ethier in the outfield for most of this season, with the latter potentially losing playing time with Crawford's return. “I see times when both Carl and Andre play,” Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Sunday. “We’ve got a chance to do some things and we’ll see where it goes. Carl’s been swinging the bat good and, obviously, ‘Dre’s been swinging the bat really good. The first two games here, I don’t think anybody has swung the bat better than Andre. He’s squared up everything he’s swung at.”

Crawford, who has been on the disabled list since April, is nearing the time limit on his rehab assignment and could be activated ahead of Monday's series opener in Atlanta. He is set to DH at Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday and will likely remain there through Sunday.

Crawford (oblique) will bat second in the order as the starting left fielder Saturday for Triple-A Oklahoma City, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports.
Manager Don Mattingly stated that the Dodgers want Crawford to log between 35 and 40 at-bats before coming off the disabled list. Crawford is currently sitting at 18 at-bats on his rehab assignment, so he'll need at least a few more games at Triple-A before rejoining the big league club.

Crawford (oblique) had his rehab game rained out for a second time in three days Thursday night, the Orange County Register reports.
Crawford was hoping to return before the All-Star break, but the weather cancellations at Triple-A Oklahoma City may push the process back a few days. He's only played two games for Oklahoma City during his rehab assignment, going 4-for-7 with a double and a walk.
