Aviles didn't let Indians manager Terry Francona know he was injured prior to the game, so he wound up playing through the ailment and could have made it worse. The good news is that Aviles is better and available to start Wednesday. "I think he was hurting a little more than he let on," Francona said. "I told him, 'I wish you would've told me. I could've protected you a little bit.'" |
