Brown has practiced all week on a limited basis after missing last week's game against the Texans. He'll likely be a game-time decision, but we'd tentatively expect him to play Sunday. At less than 100 percent against a legit Browns defense, Brown will be nothing more than a shaky WR5 play.

Mike Brown (shoulder) is expected to practice Wednesday.
Brown missed Sunday's win at Houston, allowing Ace Sanders to start and post a 4/61/0 line on five targets. Expect some kind of rotation in two-wide sets in this week's game against the Browns. It's a hands-off situation for fantasy owners.

Jaguars declared WR Mike Brown (shoulder) inactive for Week 12 against the Texans.
Per Jaguars.com, Ace Sanders will officially start in Brown's absence. Sanders picked up a ton of targets after Brown went down in Week 11, but still can't be trusted as more than a WR4 for PPR purposes against the Texans' stout pass defense. Also inactive for the Jaguars are QB Ricky Stanzi, CB Will Blackmon, DE Jeremy Mincey, WR Stephen Burton, G Jacques McClendon and DT Abry Jones.

Thu Nov 21 201313:51Mike Brown (shoulder) still not practicing
Mike Brown (shoulder) remained out of Jaguars practice Thursday.
Brown is appearing very unlikely to go against the Texans, which would free up extra targets for thus far disappointing slot man Ace Sanders. Brown's status will be updated Friday, but owners that were planning to throw a WR4/5 hail mary need to be making other plans.

Cecil Shorts is a superior player, but Brown has the superior Week 11 matchup as he'll do battle with Jerraud Powers while Shorts takes on Patrick Peterson. Brown remains more of a Hail Mary WR3 option against the Cardinals.

Mike Brown caught two passes for 40 yards in the Jaguars' Week 10 win over the Titans.
Jacksonville's receiving stats were way down as a unit on Sunday because they grabbed an early lead and never gave it up, featuring Maurice Jones-Drew (25 touches) instead. Most weeks, the Jaguars are playing from behind. Brown will continue to be a WR3 dice roll when the Jags take on the Cardinals in Week 11.

Tue Nov 5 201310:45Mike Brown getting a big chance for Jags
Beat writer Michael DiRocco says there is "some growing confidence" within the Jags in Mike Brown.
Brown, a college quarterback at Liberty, spent most of last season on the practice squad. A back injury caused him to miss most of the first four weeks this year, but he's been impressing since then. Working as the No. 3 receiver over the last three games, he's played on 78.6 percent of the snaps and recorded a 12/212/1 line. Now that Justin Blackmon is suspended for the year, Brown is expected to play every snap as the No. 2 wideout. He'll be a WR4 with upside as thanks to all the garbage-time work the Jags receivers get.

Sun Oct 20 201316:51Mike Brown goes off for 120 yards in defeat
Jaguars WR Mike Brown caught five balls for 120 yards in Sunday's Week 7 loss to the Chargers.
The Jaguars went heavy on three-wide receiver packages in pass-happy comeback mode, and second-year undrafted free agent Brown exploded for easily the best game of his career. Brown played his college ball at Liberty and spend most of his first season on the Jaguars' practice squad. He's worth a look in deep fantasy leagues, but this will likely go down as Brown's best game of 2013, barring an injury to Cecil Shorts or Justin Blackmon.
