Wed Feb 9 202216:26Noelvi Marte Could Be Seattle's Next Elite Prospect
Seattle Mariners shortstop Noelvi Marte is following in the footsteps of Seattle outfielders Jarred Kelenic and Julio Rodriguez as an elite hitting prospect. Marte almost had a 20-20 season as a 19-year-old in 2021 while making his full-season debut, and he's projected to be a top-10 prospect on MLB Pipeline heading into the 2023 season after he finished 2021 ranked No. 11. Between Single-A and High-A in 107 games last year, Marte hit .273/.366/.460 with 17 home runs, 71 RBI, 24 stolen bases and 91 runs scored in 511 plate appearances. Marte could wind up at the hot corner eventually, but his bat will play anywhere, and he has the ability to hit for average and power at the major league level.

Wed Aug 4 202102:19Noelvi Marte Hits Three Homers In Minors
Seattle Mariners infielder Noelvi Marte had the best game of his career for the Low-A Modesto Nuts Tuesday, going 4-for-5 with three homers, a walk, five runs scored, and nine RBI. The 19-year old prospect now has 15 home runs and 15 steals in 307 at-bats this season. Marte has years to go before he reaches the majors, but he's making a strong case to be on the radar for fantasy managers in dynasty and keeper leagues.
