San Francisco Giants catcher Patrick Bailey is sitting out Sunday's contest against righty Tony Gonsolin and the Los Angeles Dodgers. It's been an impressive rookie campaign thus far for the 24-year-old, who's slashing .304/.337/.532 with three bombs, 10 runs, and 19 RBI over 22 games. Blake Sabol will take his spot behind the plate and bat seventh. The 25-year-old is batting .245 this year through 51 games with seven homers, 20 runs, 21 RBI, and a pair of steals. Sabol's a solid streaming option at the backstop position, especially with his .269 average off of right-handers.

Tue May 30 202300:55Patrick Bailey Homers, Plates Four Monday
San Francisco Giants catcher Patrick Bailey had another nice game at the plate in Monday's 14-4 win over the Pirates. The 24-year-old prospect went 3-for-5 with a single, a double, a two-run home run, and four RBI. He has posted an impressive .355/.375/.645 slash line with two HR and 11 RBI in nine games since getting called up while Joey Bart (groin) is on the injured list with a groin strain. It will be interesting to see what the Giants decide to do when Bart is healthy, as he has struggled at the plate to this point. Bailey is worth keeping an eye on, as he may be able to earn more playing time in the future if he continues to hit well.
