Harvin (heel) is active for Sunday's game against the Steelers.
Harvin's heel was stepped on during practice Wednesday, but he was able to practice fully Thursday and Friday, making him good to go Sunday, one week after catching 11 passes for 129 yards against the Chiefs.

Harvin (heel) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Steelers, the Jets' official site reports.
Harvin looks good to go this week after practicing fully both Thursday and Friday. After a modest effort in his Jets' debut in Week 8, Harvin caught 11-of-13 targets for 129 yards in last Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, while re-establishing his fantasy utility, particularly in PPR formats, in the process.

Harvin (heel) practiced fully Thursday, the Jets' official site reports.
Harvin was limited at Wednesday's practice, with his full participation Thursday suggesting that the wideout is likely headed for a probable designation in advance of Sunday's game against the Steelers.
Wed Nov 5 201416:15Percy Harvin: (Heel) Practices in Limited Capacity Wednesday
Harvin (heel) was limited at Wednesday's practice, the Jets' official site reports.
We'll track Harvin's status as the week rolls along, but so far there is nothing to suggest that his availablity for Sunday's game against the Jets is in danger. In his second outing as a Jet, Harvin caught 11-of-13 targets for 129 yards in Week 9's loss at Kansas City.

Harvin caught 11-of-13 targets in Sunday's loss at Kansas City, finishing with 129 yards. He also had one rushing attempt for eight yards.
Harvin's first New York game was a flop last week, but he was a significant factor in his second time around. The Jets play Pittsburgh in Week 10.
Sun Nov 2 201412:19Harvin starting Sunday against Chiefs in place of Jeremy Kerley
Harvin is starting Sunday against the Chiefs in place of Jeremy Kerley, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York.
It was only a matter of time before Harvin got the starting nod opposite Eric Decker. The Jets are still likely to try to get the ball to Harvin as much as they can, though they have a tough task Sunday against the top-ranked pass defense this season.

Harvin had three catches on nine targets for 22 receiving yards and four carries for 28 rushing yards in his Jets debut Sunday against the Bills.
The Jets did all the could to get the ball to Harvin, but some atrocious quarterback play (Geno Smith, who was benched in the first quarter, and Michael Vick combined for six turnovers) ultimately held him back. ESPN's Rich Cimini said Harvin played 37 snaps, but he just couldn't get much going on any of them. He appeared to suffer an injury in the first quarter, though he later returned to the game, only to continue his season-long struggles. Making matter worse, the Jets face off against a Chiefs' defense in Week 9 that is allowing the fewest passing yards per game this season.

Harvin returned to Sunday's game against the Bills later in the first quarter after leaving with an apparent injury, ESPN New York's Rich Cimini reports.
Still no word on what was ailing Harvin, so perhaps it was simply an equipment issue that forced to him to the locker room temporarily. In any case, he's back in the game, and is now working with Michael Vick, who replaced Geno Smith in the first quarter after three Smith interceptions.
Sun Oct 26 201413:33Harvin left Sunday's game against Bills with undisclosed injury
Harvin left Sunday's game against the Bills with an undisclosed injury, ESPN New York's Rich Cimini reports.
It was not immediately clear how or when Harvin was injured, but he was taken to the locker room during the first quarter. More details to come.

Coach Rex Ryan implied that Harvin (thigh) will be involved in only limited play sets this week, BuffaloBills.com reports. Said Ryan, "I think that's realistic. It's awful hard to come in and, Oh by the way here's the offense. Learn it in a week.' I don't know if that's realistic. But we'll have some plays for him and get him back there to return a kick and things like that."
While we doubt Ryan would tell the Buffalo media, "Oh yeah, we're going to put him in on every third down and we've already installed a couple of trick plays, and please feel free to pass it along to your side ..." we can't imagine Harvin will be out there in a new offense nearly as much as Eric Decker and Jeremy Kerley to start things off. Harvin has the skill set to make a decent fantasy day in just one play, but with Geno Smith as his quarterback instead of Russell Wilson all while learning a new offense, Harvin seems like a risky play until he gets used to things in his new setting.
Fri Oct 17 201417:43Percy Harvin: Traded to Jets
The Seahawks agreed to trade Harvin (thigh) to the Jets on Friday in exchange for a conditional draft pick, FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports.
It's a surprising development, but one that would make sense for one or both teams depending on the compensation involved. Harvin only played 59.5 percent of Seattle's snaps this year -- nearly 30 percent less than both Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse -- and Harvin doesn't have the blocking skills a run-heavy offense like Seattle's would ideally feature at receiver. If the Seahawks look to replace Harvin's speed on offense, they might look to rookie second-round pick Paul Richardson. While the inconsistent Jets offense isn't an ideal setting for Harvin's fantasy value, he might see an increase in his play count, which will hopefully offset any efficiency decreases. Harvin's arrival should allow the Jets to generate more yardage and points if used properly.
Thu Oct 16 201419:20Percy Harvin: (Thigh) Misses Practice
Harvin did not practice Thursday due to a thigh injury, the Seahawks' official site reports.
Harvin missed practice Wednesday as well, but that absence was not listed as injury-related. The fact that Thursday's missed practice was attributed to his thigh injury is obviously more concerning, though there is still a chance that Seattle is simply giving him some extra rest as they did last week. Friday's final injury designations should provide some more information about Harvin's status for Week 7.
Wed Oct 15 201420:22Harvin (non-injury) didn't practice Wednesday
Harvin (non-injury) didn't practice Wednesday.
Harvin has cobbled together three consecutive subpar outings, during which he contributed 14 catches (on 18 targets) for 69 yards and five rushes for six yards. Of course, his Week 5 performance at Washington could have turned if one of his three (repeat, three) touchdowns hadn't been overturned by penalty. In any case, expect him to return to practice before long.

Harvin (thigh) had three receptions on four targets for zero yards in Sunday's loss to Dallas. He also ran the ball three times for negative one yard.
The Cowboys played a great game on both sides of the ball, and Russell Wilson and company struggled to get much going. Still, Harvin's lack of production has been a disturbing trend all season. He did have the misfortune of having three touchdowns called back last Monday, but otherwise, he hasn't busted out, not topping more than 60 receiving yards in any of Seattle's five games this season. We'd like to think the speedy Harvin is too explosive to be held down for much longer, it's just a matter of which week the breakout happens.
Sun Oct 12 201415:05Harvin (thigh) active for Sunday's game against Cowboys
Harvin (thigh) is active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Harvin's thigh is not a concern, so he should be safe to deploy Sunday against the Cowboys' average pass defense.
Fri Oct 10 201416:19Percy Harvin: (Thigh) Probable Against Dallas
Harvin (thigh) is probable for Sunday's game against Dallas, Sports Radio KJR's Curtis Crabtree reports.
Harvin didn't practice Thursday, but rest evidently had something to do with that. One could argue that Harvin is due for some good luck after having three touchdowns called back against Washington on Monday, and Russell Wilson's high passing efficiency in home games gives reason to hope for a nice game from Harvin. He's averaging just 6.1 yards per target and has received just 22 targets through four games, however, so he seems a bit like a boom-or-bust sort of player for the time being.
Thu Oct 9 201419:05Percy Harvin: (Thigh) Misses Practice Thursday
Harvin (thigh) did not practice Thursday, Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.
Harvin's addition to the injury report clouds his Week 6 status, though the extent of the thigh issue is uncertain. Regardless, it intensifies the frustration of his fantasy owners, after Harvin had three touchdowns wiped out by penalty last week. We'll revisit his status after Friday's practice, but if Harvin is unable to go, Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kerse would likely serve as the top targets against Dallas.

Harvin caught 4-of-5 targets for 27 yards, adding seven yards on two carries, in Monday's 27-17 win over the Redskins. He had three potential touchdowns nullified by penalties.
Harvin found the end zone on a 16-yard carry in the second quarter, but it was called back due to a holding penalty on LG James Carpenter. On the next snap, Harvin took a screen pass 26 yards for a touchdown, only to have it wiped out by his own false start. Early in the fourth quarter, he got wide open for a would-be 41-yard touchdown that was called back due to an unnecessary roughness penalty on Carpenter. It was one of the more frustrating performances an owner will ever see, but the good news is that Harvin remained highly involved in the offense, even taking a number of snaps out of the backfield. Between the jet sweeps and plays where he starts out in the backfield, Harvin has logged eight carries for 93 yards through four games. And, he's been a far bigger part of the passing game than his 22 targets through four games indicate.

Harvin hauled in seven of the nine passes thrown his way for 42 yards in Sunday's overtime win against Denver.
Harvin surprisingly wasn't used as a runner, and most of his looks were of the short variety. He looks healthy and explosive when he touches the ball, however, so there should be some big games in the near future.

Harvin had a quiet game as a receiver Sunday, catching just one pass for five yards, but he did score on a 51-yard rush.
Harvin was fortunate to have scored on his long touchdown run, as replays showed that he stepped out of bounds about 25 yards away from the end zone. Replay officials did not review the score for some reason, however, so the play stood. As far as the passing game does, not only did Harvin catch just one pass, but he was targeted just once. Expect the explosive play-maker to be more productive at home next week against Denver.
