Crabtree (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against Arizona.
Crabtree's knee is evidently bugging him a bit, but the probable designation indicates it won't be a major factor in his Sunday performance. Still, after such a disappointing season, it's not an ideal matchup for Crabtree to face off against Arizona.
Wed Dec 24 201421:01Michael Crabtree: (Knee) Practices Fully Wednesday
Crabtree (knee) was a full practice participant Wednesday, the 49ers' official site reports.
Crabtree's receiving yards have deceased from the previous week in three of the last four games, a stretch in which he's gathered in 16 balls (on 21 targets) for 90 yards and no scores. With a pitiful 5.6 YPC during that span, he'll be hard-pressed to turn it around Sunday against a Cardinals secondary that has given up 13.0 YPC but just one touchdown reception to wide receivers in the last seven contests.

Crabtree (knee) had one catch for five yards in Saturday's overtime loss to the Chargers.
Crabtree, who came into this game listed as questionable with a knee injury, may have aggravated the injury early on because he hardly played in this contest. He spent much of the game on the sideline with a baseball cap on and only entered the game in overtime after the 49ers lost a couple of other receivers to injury. Given his recent level of output, you're probably better off looking elsewhere for WR help in Week 17.
Sat Dec 20 201419:09Crabtree (knee) active for Saturday's game against San Diego
Crabtree (knee) is active for Saturday's game against San Diego.
Crabtree's knee issue is significant enough that it kept him out of Wednesday's practice while limiting him Thursday and Friday. Between his own struggles, his knee ailment and the struggles of the 49ers offense as a whole, it's hard to get excited about Crabtree's fantasy prospects for Saturday.
Fri Dec 19 201422:10Crabtree (knee) questionable for Sunday's game against San Diego
Crabtree (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against San Diego.
Crabtree logged limited practices Thursday and Friday, so he seems to have a decent chance at suiting up. With the 49ers offense in complete disarray at this point, Crabtree doesn't have much obvious fantasy appeal either way, however.
Thu Dec 18 201418:43Michael Crabtree: (Knee) Limited Thursday
Crabtree (knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday, the 49ers' official site reports.
Crabtree bumped up from no activity Wednesday, placing him on a path to active status Saturday versus the Chargers. While he has averaged only 9.9 YPC over the last five contests, San Diego's defense can be exploited, after giving up five touchdown catches to wide receivers in the past four games.
Wed Dec 17 201419:38Michael Crabtree: (Knee) Misses Practice Wednesday
Crabtree (knee) didn't take part in practice Wednesday, the Sacramento Bee reports.
Crabtree has been a victim of Colin Kaepernick failing to surpass 200 yards passing in four of the last five games, as the wideout has accrued 23 receptions for 228 yards and one touchdown during that stretch. In addition to occasional incompetence on offense, Crabtree has been dealing with a knee injury suffered in Week 13 against the Seahawks, but of course, he's played through the ailment. Barring a setback, expect him to do the same Saturday against the Chargers.

Crabtree had three catches (on three targets) for 19 yards in Sunday's loss at Seattle.
A week after being useful in PPR leagues, Crabtree continued his disappointing season. We'd like to give him somewhat of a pass, given the quality of the opponent, but the veteran WR completely disappeared in two games versus Seattle this year, catching a total of six passes for 29 yards. He'll look to bounce back Saturday against the Chargers.

Crabtree (knee) grabbed nine passes on 14 targets for 56 yards in Sunday's loss at Oakland.
Crabtree's nine receptions were his second most in a game this season, although he still doesn't have a 100-yard receiving game. Anquan Boldin had just four receptions for 54 yards Sunday, but he's severely outproduced the younger Crabtree this year. He'll have a tough time producing next week, facing the Seahawks on the road.
Sun Dec 7 201415:01Crabtree (knee) active for Sunday's game against Raiders
Crabtree (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Oakland's secondary is not good, but the 49ers may not need to go to the air very frequently if they are shredding the Raiders' equally vulnerable run defense. Crabtree's knee will not be an issue Sunday, but he's he's been an inconsistent fantasy producer all season.
Fri Dec 5 201421:18Crabtree (knee) probable for Sunday's game against Oakland
Crabtree (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against Oakland.
Crabtree's knee appears close to a non-issue at this point, as he practiced all week, including a full practice Friday. Despite the encouraging matchup, it's hard to be confidently optimistic about Crabtree's fantasy prospects at this point, as he has just 51 catches for 577 yards and four touchdowns on 86 targets so far this year. Still, there are probably worse gambles to make in the WR3 category.
Wed Dec 3 201418:41Michael Crabtree: (Knee) Limited Wednesday
Crabtree (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice, the 49ers' official site reports.
Crabtree sustained a knee injury immediately after kickoff last Thursday versus the Seahawks but brushed it off, recording three catches (on as many targets) for 10 yards. With a showing in practice behind him, he's seemingly on track to active status in Week 14. However, Friday's injury report of the week will likely have the final word in his availability for Sunday's Bay Area battle in Oakland.
Thu Nov 27 201423:52Michael Crabtree: Suffers Knee Injury But Returns
Crabtree injured his knee on the second play of Thursday's game against the Seahawks but was able to return, CSN's Matt Maiocco reports.
The extent of Crabtree's injury is uncertain, but with him returning to the game, and the 49ers off until next Sunday, it seems there is a good chance he will avoid missing any further action. He didn't do much for fantasy owners Thursday, catching three passes for 10 yards in a game dominated by the Seahawks.

Crabtree caught five of the seven balls thrown his way for 58 yards in Sunday's win over Washington.
After his strong performance against the Giants last week, Crabtree reverted to his usual modest production. His style of play doesn't translate to putting up huge receiving numbers, so his value is tied to whether or not he gets in the endzone. Next week's matchup will be a tough one when the 49ers host the rival Seahawks on a short week on Thanksgiving.

Crabtree had three catches on a team-high eight targets for 85 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Giants.
Crabtree continues to get a decent number of passes thrown his way (26 targets in the last three games), but he has failed to reach even 65 yards in five of the last six games. While it's possible that Sunday's score could be the beginning of a positive stream of games for Crabtree, a Week 12 matchup against the Redskins will likely make him dependent on scoring again to make much of an impact, as the Redskins allow the eighth-fewest passing yards per game this season, but only two teams have allowed more passing touchdowns.

Crabtree had three catches on eight targets for 62 yards Sunday against the Saints.
Crabtree was having a dreadful fantasy day until he caught a 51-yard pass late in the fourth quarter to set up the game-tying field goal that sent the game into overtime. He has now failed to reach even 65 receiving yards in six straight games, while scoring just once since Week 3. Anquan Boldin has become the most consistent fantasy producer in the Niners' passing attack, leaving Crabtree owners to hope for a TD to break out of his funk in Week 11 against the Giants, who are allowing the fifth-most passing yards per game this season.

Crabtree caught 5-of-9 targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 13-10 loss to the Rams.
Crabtree was heavily featured during three straight plays late in the game, drawing a couple of key penalties, including a pass interference call on 4th down, to extend the game. He almost scored a short touchdown on the same drive, but rolled out of bounds at the one-yard line. Otherwise, Crabtree wasn't much of a factor, once again. Meanwhile, Anquan Boldin provided most of the punch in the passing game, catching 6-of-7 targets for 93 yards and a touchdown. It's been a disappointing season for Crabtree thus far, but perhaps he can get on track next week in a possible shootout at New Orleans.

Crabtree only gained 27 yards on three catches (seven targets) in Sunday's blowout loss to the Broncos.
A pretty disappointing performance from Crabtree considering the 49ers were playing from behind and throwing the ball for the majority of the game. He and Anquan Boldin continue to split the majority of the targets in this offense, but neither has stepped up and become consistent fantasy options.

Crabtree caught 3-of-8 targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 31-17 win over the Rams.
Crabtree had a 32-yard touchdown at the end of the third quarter but was otherwise mostly quiet. He and Anquan Boldin have shared the honor of being Colin Kaepernick's favorite receiver, as Crabtree has 44 targets through six games, compared to 45 for Boldin. With Vernon Davis and Stevie Johnson also occupying key roles in the passing game, there simply aren't enough targets available for Boldin or Crabtree to post big numbers on a consistent basis. Neither wideout has a 100-yard game or multi-touchdown outing through the first six weeks of the season.

Crabtree (foot) had just one catch on four targets for 16 yards in Sunday's win over Kansas City.
After briefly leaving last week's game against Philadelphia with a foot injury, Crabtree struggled to produce Sunday, although his lack of involvement wasn't necessarily associated with his foot issue. While the veteran Crabtree is not making many big plays (he's averaging just 9.8 yards per catch), he's been getting plenty of looks, receiving at least eight targets in three of the last four games.
