Smith (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Smith -- who returned to practice Friday -- is in uniform Sunday, though it's unclear how close to 100 percent he will be after seeing limited snaps and no targets in Week 14 and then missing practice both Wednesday and Thursday. He's a boom-or-bust play this week, but it's worth noting that Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun indicated that Smith looked "much more comfortable and quicker" in warmups this Sunday than he did in advance of last week's game against the Dolphins.

The Ravens list Smith (knee) as probable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Smith practiced fully Friday and while a probable designation is normally enough to feel pretty confident about a player's status, coach John Harbaugh previously described Smith as a "game-time decision." Hensley suggests that the Ravens could still elect to err on the side of caution with Smith this week, so those inclined to roll the dice on the wideout (even after his limited showing last weekend) are advised to verify his status in advance of Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff.

Coach John Harbaugh indicated Friday that Smith (knee) is a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, the Baltimore Sun's Aron Wilson reports.
Smith returned to practice Friday, but per the Baltimore Sun, the wideout appeared to be favoring his sprained right knee. We'll circle back on Smith's status later Friday, but look for him to be officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game, a 1:00 ET kickoff.

Smith returned to practice Friday but was clearly favoring his sprained right knee, the Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson reports.
Wilson wrote that Smith looked "extremely gimpy and uncomfortable" running routes, which does not sound especially encouraging just two days away from Sunday's matchup with the Jaguars.
Thu Dec 11 201417:19Smith (sprained right knee) did not practice Thursday
Smith (sprained right knee) did not practice Thursday, the Baltimore Sun reports.
We'll check back on Smith's status Friday, but at this stage he's looking pretty iffy for Sunday's game against the Jaguars after being hobbled in Week 14's win over the Dolphins.
Wed Dec 10 201413:53Smith (knee) did not practice Wednesday
Smith (knee) did not practice Wednesday, the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec reports.
Smith's absence isn't surprising, given that his knee flared up before this past Sunday's game against the Dolphins. His status for this weekend's game against the Jaguars is thus uncertain, with Kamar Aiken and Marlon Brown candidates to see added work in Week 15, if Smith is out or limited on Sunday.
Mon Dec 8 201416:12Smith day-to-day with knee sprain
Smith is day-to-day with a knee sprain.
The status of Smith, whose knee flared up before Sunday's game against the Dolphins, thus remains cloudy as this weekend's tilt against the Jaguars approaches. With Smith hampered in Week 14, Kamar Aiken and Marlon Brown both saw added work in the Baltimore passing offense, a scenario that could well be repeated this weekend if Smith's knee fails to respond as hoped.
Mon Dec 8 201411:30Smith
Smith, whose right knee swelled up during pre-game warmups, did not see a target in Sunday's win over the Dolphins, ESPN.com reports.
Per the Baltimore Sun, the wideout -- who saw limited snaps Sunday, ended up being more of a decoy than a target, which led to added opportunities for teammates Marlon Brown and Kamar Aiken. Given that Smith's knee issue flared up Sunday, his status for this coming weekend's game against the Jaguars will be worth monitoring closely once the Ravens' practice slate resumes.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said after Sunday's win over the Dolphins that Smith's knee swelled up during pregame warmups, but the team had already activated him, which is why was not ruled out, according to Clifton Brown of CSN Mid-Atlantic.
With Smith's knee keeping him on the sideline, Steve Smith and Kamar Aiken both got plenty of targets from quarterback Joe Flacco, catching a combined 13 passes on 18 targets for 135 yards and two touchdowns. Smith suffered the injury last Sunday against the Chargers, and practiced fully Friday, though he reportedly did not look comfortable in warmups, which was then confirmed by Harbaugh. It was a very tough hit for fantasy owners, who at least expected him to be on the field after not being made inactive. Up next is a Week 15 matchup against a Jaguars defense allowing the ninth-most receiving yards per game this season, though the health of Smith's knee is of more importance.

Though Smith (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun suggests that the wideout didn't look comfortable in pre-game warmups.
While Smith is evidently in line to give it a go Sunday, ESPN's Jamison Hensley notes, along with Zrebiec, that the wideout had a noticeable limp during warmups. If Smith ends up being limited at all Sunday, Hensley suggests that Marlon Brown and Kamar Aiken could potentially see added work in the Ravens' offense.

Smith (right knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Smith, who is in uniform, as expected, after returning to practice Friday, should see his share of targets Sunday, assuming no setbacks with his knee. The wideout has notched at least one touchdown in five of his past seven games, including two last weekend in the Ravens' loss to the Chargers, while catching six passes for 65 yards.

Smith (right knee) practiced fully Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, ESPN.com reports.
Smith sat out practice both Thursday and Friday, but the probable designation appears to leave little doubt with regard to the wideout's availability for Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff.
Fri Dec 5 201411:59Smith (knee) returned to practice Friday
Smith (knee) returned to practice Friday, the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec reports.
Smith has been confident all week that he'll be fine for Sunday's tilt with the Dolphins, and Friday's return to practice seems to confirm that optimism. We'll update you again once Baltimore releases the official injury designations for the game.

Smith indicated Thursday that his right knee has improved with rest and treatment over the past few days, Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Moreover, in his words, Smith suggested that the the only way he won't play Sunday against the Dolphins "is if I need crutches." While his optimism is encouraging, a return to practice Friday -- in any capacity -- would provide us with more concrete confidence with regard to the wideout's status for Sunday's 1:00 ET tilt.
Thu Dec 4 201414:04Smith (right knee) did not practice Thursday
Smith (right knee) did not practice Thursday, Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Smith's level of practice participation Friday will thus be telling with regard to his Week 14 status, though if the wideout enters the weekend with any sort of uncertainty surrounding his availability, fortunately the Ravens kick off against the Dolphins at 1:00 ET on Sunday.
Wed Dec 3 201417:03Smith (right knee) missed practice Wednesday
Smith (right knee) missed practice Wednesday, the Baltimore Sun reports.
Coach John Harbaugh suggested Monday that Smith isn't dealing with a serious injury, but the wideout's absence from practice Wednesday makes his status worth following as Sunday's game against the Dolphins approaches. We'll revisit Smith's status no later than Thursday, once the Ravens return to practice.
Mon Dec 1 201416:12Torrey Smith: Injury Not Too Serious
Smith's injury is "nothing too serious," according to coach John Harbaugh, and he is day-to-day, the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec reports.
Harbaugh downplayed the injury, which resulted in Smith limping after Sunday's loss, favoring his right leg and knee. The Ravens' coach said Smith will be getting ready for Miami this week, and given how tight the AFC playoff picture is, it would be surprising if Smith did not play through the ailment.

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun indicates that Smith was limping after Sunday's loss to the Chargers, while favoring his right leg and knee.
While exactly what's ailing Smith has yet to be clarified, based on this report, his status is definitely worth monitoring as next week's game against the Dolphins approaches.

Smith (unspecified injury) caught six passes for 65 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's 34-33 loss to the Chargers.
Smith, who has now scored seven touchdowns in his past seven games, was apparently shaken up late in the game, and we'll keep an eye on his status in the coming days to see if he's dealing with any sort of ailment that could impact his Week 14 status.

Smith caught 5-of-6 targets for 98 yards in Monday's 34-27 win over the Saints.
While largely used as a deep threat this season, Smith provided a nice reminder that he's also dangerous with the ball in his hands. He failed to reach the end zone for just a second time in his last six games, despite putting forth arguably his best showing of the season, at least from a non-fantasy perspective. Following a zero-target dud in Week 8, Smith has 14 catches for 236 yards and two touchdowns on 21 targets over the last three games. He's re-established himself as a key part of the Baltimore offense, but next week's matchup with the Chargers isn't a great one.
