Thu Jul 19 2012 | 13:08 | Report: Rams DE Robert Quinn popped for DWI |
Rams DE Robert Quinn was arrested for DWI on July 10, according to KSDK.com. |
All we know right now is that Quinn was pulled over in a St. Louis suburb and charged with DWI and two additional traffic charges. It's his first strike in the eyes of the league office, even though he was forced to sit out the entire 2010 season at North Carolina after lying to the NCAA about receiving improper benefits. Quinn, the 14th overall pick in 2011, still projects as the Rams' starting right end. He picked up five sacks while coming off the bench as a rookie. |

Fri Jun 15 2012 | 17:08 | Rams have high expectations for Robert Quinn |
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, expectations at Rams Park are "sky high" for RE Robert Quinn entering his second year. |
"He's God-gifted like crazy from top to bottom, and this is a speed game," said DL coach Mike Waufle. Quinn flashed his pass-rush potential with five sacks off the bench as a rookie, but Waufle thinks he's capable of emerging as a true every-down force. "I'm real excited about how he's playing the run," Waufle observed. "Most pass rushers are tagged as not wanting to be run defenders. And he's taking the running game as being a serious issue." |

Wed Jun 13 2012 | 21:22 | Robert Quinn takes over as Rams RE |
Rams 2011 first-round pick Robert Quinn is locked in as the team's new starting right end following the departure of James Hall. |
After a slow August, Quinn flashed dominant potential with five sacks, 20 tackles, and three kick blocks off the bench as a rookie. Last year's 14th pick in the draft, Quinn got his weight down to 260 in the offseason and is a candidate for a breakout year. The Rams are quietly collecting D-Line talent with Quinn at RE, Chris Long at LE, and Michael Brockers next to Kendall Langford inside. |

Mon May 21 2012 | 21:21 | ESPN's Kiper predicts breakout for DE Quinn |
ESPN's Mel Kiper is predicting a breakout season for Rams DE Robert Quinn. |
After sitting out the entire 2010 season at North Carolina due to a suspension, Quinn was a situational player for St. Louis during his rookie campaign. Following James Hall's release, however, Quinn will start at right end. "Now comfortable, he could easily double the 5.0 sacks he notched last year," said Kiper. "Too much talent to keep down." |

Wed Sep 14 2011 | 11:15 | Robert Quinn the Rams' fifth-best DE? |
Coach Steve Spagnuolo confirmed that he considers No. 14 overall pick Robert Quinn the fifth-best defensive end on the Rams right now. |
Quinn was a surprising healthy scratch in Week 1 as he's behind Chris Long, James Hall, C.J. Ah You and Eugene Sims on the depth chart. Quinn will be active this week thanks to Ah You's wrist injury, but it's a bad sign for the rookie's potential production this season. |

Fri Aug 5 2011 | 14:08 | Robert Quinn passes his physical with Rams |
Rams first-round pick Robert Quinn has passed his physical and will begin practicing after opening camp on active/NFI with a knee injury. |
The injury was never a big concern, and the Rams smartly didn't push Quinn onto the field until he received medical clearance. The 14th overall pick in April's draft, Quinn will slot in as a nickel rusher behind LE Chris Long and RE James Hall. Quinn will likely be asked to rush the passer only as a rookie. |

Sun Jul 31 2011 | 18:32 | Rams place first-rounder Quinn on NFI list |
Rams placed first-round DE Robert Quinn on the non-football injury list with a knee injury. |
We know it's not a football injury, but Quinn hasn't played in nearly two years. According to Tony Softli of ESPN 101 St. Louis, the injury doesn't appear to be serious, but the Rams will exercise caution with the No. 14 overall pick. |

Sat Jul 30 2011 | 18:54 | Rams sign No. 14 overall pick DE Quinn |
Rams signed No. 14 overall pick DE Robert Quinn to a five-year contract. |
Quinn has been signed for days, according to the Rams, but his agent switch caused a delay. Though Quinn was arguably the most explosive pass-rushing defensive end in the draft, he's expected to be eased in slowly after missing his senior season as well as his first NFL offseason. Long-term, the athletic Quinn will bookend Chris Long, both of whom boast double-digit sack potential. |
