Allen (unspecified issue) was carted off the field during Sunday's game against the Broncos, the San Diego Union-Tribune's Michael Gehlken reports.
More info as we know it, but the report notes that Allen's right leg was elevated on the bench before he was carted off, while adding that his right ankle was taped earlier in the contest.

Allen completed 2-of-3 targets for three yards in Sunday's 23-14 loss to the Patriots.
A trip to Revis Island was no good for Allen, who isn't exactly the best at creating separation. He was shadowed all night by the Patriots' top cornerback, and only caught a pair of very short passes. While not the quickest of receivers, Allen does plenty of other things well, and he should bounce back in Week 15 against the Broncos. He caught 9-of-13 targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 against Denver.

Allen had 11 catches on 15 targets for 121 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 34-33 win over the Ravens.
Allen led the team in catches, targets, receptions and touchdowns in a dominant performance that has given him back-to-back games with at least 100 yards and a score. He's getting plenty of passes thrown his way (24 targets over that span), and he figures to keep being a popular option in Week 14 against the Patriots, who allowed 368 yards and two touchdowns through the air to the Packers in Week 13.

Allen caught 6-of-8 targets for 104 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Rams. He also lost a pair of fumbles in the game.
It was a strong game for Allen, who showed off his nifty moves in the open field a season-long 35-yard catch, although a defender tracked him down from behind and stripped the ball. Later in the fourth quarter, Allen took a screen pass, and once again showed craftiness in space, breaking tackles on his way to a 29-yard touchdown. Philip Rivers, who has been banged up almost all season, hardly took any shots down the field, so we should continue to see Allen run shorter routes, taking advantage of his after-the-catch ability. He'll have a favorable matchup in Week 13, facing a injury-depleted Ravens' secondary.

Allen caught 8-of-13 targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 13-6 win over the Raiders. He also returned four punts for 44 yards.
As the Chargers have done pretty much all season, they used Allen on shorter routes, although Philip Rivers did take one deep shot to him in the first half. The second-year wideout continues to see a ton of looks, with 45 targets over the last four games, but he hasn't topped 75 yards, while scoring just one touchdown during that span. He did improve on his numbers from the last time he faced the Raiders in Week 6, when he caught just 3-of-6 targets for 27 yards. For those in leagues that count return yardage, note that Allen has been the primary punt returner over the last couple of games. Next week, Allen will face a Rams defense that hasn't been generous to opposing WRs this season.

Allen had four catches on a team-high nine targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 37-0 loss at Miami.
The Chargers were absolutely dominated throughout the game, and Allen wasn't even able to grab any garbage time points, as backup quarterback Kellen Clemens, who took over for starter Philip Rivers late in the third quarter, threw only three passes the rest of the game. Allen continues to be highly-targeted, getting 32 passes thrown his way in the last three games, but he'll have to start converting them into higher-yardage plays and touchdowns to make a real fantasy impact. The Chargers are off in Week 10, so fantasy owners will have to wait until Week 11 against the Raiders for Allen's possible breakout game.

Allen caught 9-of-13 targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 35-21 loss to the Broncos
Allen faded after a hot start, but he was still involved in the offense, and ultimately gave owners a satisfying stat line for just the second time this season. The touchdown, his first of the year, came on a quick screen from just two yards out. It wasn't all positive, as Allen contributed to an interception by slipping on a route, and also dropped what should have been an easy catch. The sum of his campaign remains disappointing, but as the most-targeted player in a prolific passing offense, Allen still has every opportunity to put together a big second half of the season. He'll have to start with a touch matchup, as the Chargers travel to Miami next week.

Allen caught six passes on 10 targets for 58 yards in Sunday's loss to Kansas City.
Allen still hasn't scored a touchdown, and other than an outstanding 10-reception, 135-yard game in Week 4 against Jacksonville, he has underachieved this season. He was targeted throughout, but didn't make much of an impact until he caught three passes for 32 yards on San Diego's penultimate drive of the game. He was also targeted in the end zone on a short pass in the second half, but the Chiefs' defender did a good job of getting his head around, knocking the ball away. Considering that Philip Rivers is playing better than ever, with 17 touchdown passes through seven games, and Allen leads the team in targets (54), it's a very disappointing outcome for the second-year wideout. He's got a challenging matchup in Week 8 at Denver, although the game has the potential to be a high-scoring affair.

Allen (quad) caught just three passes on six targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 31-28 win at Oakland.
Allen was held without a catch in the first half, but got a little more involved once Eddie Royal left the game with a rib injury. The second-year wideout probably has the most talent of any of San Diego's pass catchers, but the combination of nagging injuries and Phillip Rivers' ability to spread things around has hampered Allen's stats. He did have a key 30-yard punt return late in the fourth quarter, that set up the game-winning touchdown, but that's of little consolation to fantasy owners. He's surprisingly still searching for his first score of the season, and he'll look to break the drought in Week 7 against Kansas City.

Allen (quad) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Raiders the Chargers' official site reports.
Allen looks good to go after returning to a full practice Friday and he should see his share of targets Sunday, with fellow wideout Malcom Floyd banged up and listed as questionable for the contest.
Thu Oct 9 201417:34Allen (quad) remained limited at Thursday's practice
Allen (quad) remained limited at Thursday's practice, the Chargers' official site reports.
While there has been nothing so far to suggest that Allen's status for Sunday's game against the Raiders is in peril, a probable injury designation in advance of Sunday's 4:05 ET kickoff would no doubt be of reassurance to the wideout's fantasy owners.

Allen had three receptions on seven targets for 25 yards in Sunday's blowout win over the Jets.
Allen got banged up in the first quarter, with an undisclosed injury, but returned after missing just a few plays. Although he was not productive Sunday, he didn't seem to be hindered by the minor injury he suffered. In fact, he had a chance for a touchdown in the second quarter, but could not come down with a jump ball from Phillip Rivers. His seven targets led all San Diego pass catchers, and he should have a good shot at bouncing back next week, facing a struggling Raiders' defense.

Allen caught a career-high 10 passes for 135 yards in Sunday's blowout win against Jacksonville.
Allen could have had an even bigger game, as a beautiful leaping catch on the sideline for around 30 yards was reversed via replay. After struggling for the first three games of the season, Allen was featured and targeted heavily by Philip Rivers on Sunday, receiving a team-high 12 looks. He's still searching for his first touchdown of the year, but it's possible that it could come next week against a beatable Jets secondary.
Sun Sep 28 201414:48Allen (groin) listed as active for Sunday's game against Jaguars
Allen (groin) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Though Allen was held to two catches for 17 yards by the Bills last week, he's a bounce-back candidate Sunday, while going up against a Jags' defense that is allowing a league-high average of 306 passing yards per game.
Fri Sep 26 201415:47Allen (groin) probable for Sunday's game against Jaguars
Allen (groin) is probable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, the Chargers' official site reports.
While Allen was held to two catches for 17 yards in Week 3 against the Bills, he's a bounce-back candidate this weekend against a Jags' defense that is allowing a league-high average of 306 passing yards per game to date.
Thu Sep 25 201419:37Allen (groin) practiced fully again Thursday
Allen (groin) practiced fully again Thursday, the Chargers' official site reports.
Allen ended up listed as questionable in advance of Week 3's contest against the Bills, but his Week 4 status is in little doubt at this point. After back-to-back five-catch efforts to start the season, Allen was held to two catches for 17 yards this past Sunday, but he's a bounce-back candidate this weekend against a very beatable Jags' defense.

Allen (groin) had two catches on two targets for 17 yards Sunday against the Bills.
Allen was limited in practice all week and finished with his fewest number of targets all season. He's still looking for his first touchdown, and hasn't eclipsed 55 receiving yards, but a Week 4 matchup against the Jaguars may be just what Allen needs to break out.
Sun Sep 21 201411:52Allen (groin) active for Sunday's game at Buffalo
Allen (groin) is active for Sunday's game at Buffalo.
Allen was limited in practice all week, so some risk still exists here as he might not be 100% yet, but he will play.

Allen (groin), who was limited at practice both Thursday and Friday, is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills, the Chargers' official site reports.
While his practice participation Friday, albeit in a limited capacity, is a positive indicator, given the questionable designation, Allen's status will need to be monitored in advance of Sunday's game, a 1:00 ET kickoff. Allen is coming off back-to-back five-catch games to start the season, which has resulted in a combined 92 receiving yards.
