The Colts' defense bottled up Robinson all afternoon, holding him to easily his lowest yardage total since taking over as the starter in Week 7. After putting together a pair of encouraging performances against the Browns (Week 7) and Dolphins (Week 8), Robinson has not topped 100 yards on the ground in his last three games and has just 85 yards on 29 carries over his last two contests. He'll look to turn things around next week against the Giants, who own the NFL's worst rushing defense.

Robinson rushed 15 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.

Since taking over as the starter in Week 7 against Cleveland, Robinson has found success for a Jaguars team that's struggled to move the ball on the ground this season. Coming off of a 94-yard outing last week, Robinson was unable to approach the 100-yard mark but still had a successful week, from a fantasy perspective, contributing a pair of touchdowns. Robinson, who gained more than half of his yardage on a 32-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, also had two receptions for 10 yards on three targets.

Robinson has quietly emerged as the Jaguars' clear-cut No. 1 running back, as he nearly recorded what would have been his third consecutive 100-yard game. Robinson now has 329 yards and two touchdowns over the last three weeks to go with three catches for 20 yards. It's an impressive turnaround for the Michigan product, who began the season as the third running back.

Robinson carried 18 times for 108 yards in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins.

Robinson broke the century mark for the second straight week but failed to reach the endzone. He got the start over Toby Gerhart and Jordan Todman and figures to hold onto that designation for the foreseeable future, as neither of the aforementioned backs have been able to get much going this season. Robinson has 329 yards on 68 carries this season, while Gerhart has just 133 on 52 attempts.

Coach Gus Bradley relayed Thursday that Robinson will start at running back for the Jaguars on Sunday against the Dolphins.

The report adds that Toby Gerhart, who practiced fully Thursday, will return to the mix and also get reps this weekend, but Robinson will have a chance to build off the 22-carry, 127-yard effort he supplied in Week 7 against the Browns. Matching that output against Miami on Sunday won't be easy, but the Jaguars plan to stay with the hot hand, thus making Robinson worthy of Week 8 lineup consideration.

Offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch indicated that both Robinson and Toby Gerhart (ankle) can be part of the Week 8 game-plan against the Dolphins, the Florida Times Union reports. Gerhart, who opened the season as the starting running back, was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. "I think we'll continue to mix and match a little bit," Fisch said. "I don't know exactly how that will all play out yet."

Head coach Gus Bradley said Gerhart looked good Wednesday, suggesting he'll be available Sunday for the first time in three games. Gerhart has been limited by the ankle since opening week, which may have contributed to his disappointing numbers (48 carries, 123 yards, 2.6 YPC). So, after Robinson ran wild in last week's win over Cleveland, it's quite natural to wonder about the Jaguars' depth chart at running back.

Robinson had 22 carries for 127 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Browns.

With Toby Gerhart still sidelined with a foot injury, Robinson was given the start, and he produced right away, accumulating 62 yards in the first quarter alone. While he was expected to split touches with Storm Johnson, who had a touchdown last Sunday against the Titans, the latter finished with only six carries for 16 yards, though he did score a three-yard touchdown with less than five minutes left to put the Jags up 24-6. Gerhart is hoping to return in Week 8 against the Dolphins, though after Sunday's performance, it wouldn't be surprising if Robinson continued to get a fair number of touches.

Robinson is listed as the starting running back for Sunday's game against the Browns.

Robinson received half as many carries as Storm Johnson in last week's game against the Titans, but will draw the starting nod Sunday afternoon against the Browns. Although he was given less opportunities last week, Robinson had a YPC of 4.4 compared to Johnson's mark of 2.1. The two backs split reps in practice all week, but Robinson appears to have a slight upper hand. Look for the two backs to split time, with Jordan Todman also a candidate to see snaps on third down. A timeshare should continue to be expected until a hot hand emerges.

With Toby Gerhart still out, Robinson is once again a candidate to see expanded duties in Sunday's game against the Browns, the Florida Times-Union reports.

Per the report, coach Gus Bradley relays that Storm Johnson and Robinson are in line to split first- and second-down snaps on Sunday, with Jordan Todman likely handling the team's third-down duties. In such a scenario, we'd expect that Johnson is the top candidate to lead the team in carries, as he did last weekend, making Robinson a Week 7 lottery ticket.

Toby Gerhart (foot) continues to be sidelined, propelling Robinson to the top of the depth chart alongside Johnson. In Gerhart's absence last week, Robinson carried the ball five times for 22 yards and caught three passes for 14 yards. Should Gerhart sit out again, Robinson will likely see a similar workload, as he Johnson and Jordan Todman figure to split snaps in the backfield.

Though Storm Johnson technically got the start Sunday, Robinson benefitted from the absence of Toby Gerhart, seeing a few extra snaps in the backfield. As has been the case for all of Jacksonville's backs this season, Robinson wasn't able to gain much traction, with his longest rush going for just six yards. Robinson did, however, catch all three passes thrown his way for a total of 14 yards.

Robinson, who had eight carries in Week 3 against the Colts and nine carries last week against the Chargers, saw limited action Sunday, as rookie Storm Johnson entered the fold. At this point, the Jags' rushing attack has been completely ineffective, and it appears coach Gus Bradley is utilizing a three-back rotation featuring limited workloads for Robinson, Johnson and Toby Gerhart. On the season, Robinson has 20 carries for 66 yards to go with six catches for 24 yards.

Robinson had nine carries for 25 yards and caught three passes for seven yards in Sunday's loss at San Diego.

The shifty Robinson ended up getting almost as many carries as starter Toby Gerhart, who lost a fumble in the first quarter. Robinson doesn't have the size of Gerhart, but the former Michigan quarterback can be electric with the ball, so it's possible that he'll see more work moving forward, especially given Gerhart's early-season struggles.

The second-year back saw his most work of the season on the ground, as he'd notched just three carries through the first two weeks. Robinson was also targeted once in the passing game but did not record a catch. He's a nice change-of-pace back behind Toby Gerhart, but it's unlikely he challenges the bruising Stanford product for the starting designation.

Robinson played only a minor role in Week 1, as the Jaguars failed to get anything going on the ground against the Philadelphia defense. While Robinson is officially listed as the Jags' backup running back, both he and Jordan Todman split carries while Toby Gerhart briefly left the game with a minor injury. Todman ran for six yards on three carries and had one catch for five yards.

Robinson will open the season as the backup to Toby Gerhart at running back.

The Jaguars announced Tuesday afternoon that Robinson will open the season as the second back behind starter Toby Gerhart. The second-year back out of Michigan, who played quarterback in college, rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries during the preseason. He also caught two passes for 24 yards. While Todman may be the better true running back, Robinson is quicker and more versatile, so offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch should be able to utilize him in some creative packages.

Starting over Jordan Todman, Robinson gained 12 yards on seven carries and 20 yards on one reception (three targets) in Thursday's preseason finale against the Falcons.

Jordan Todman was at one point thought to be fairly secure in his role as Toby Gerhart's top backup, but that belief came into question over the last few weeks, and Robinson's stock is on the rise after Thursday night. Though he didn't do much with his carries, Robinson got the starting nod over Todman, who played into the second half. Robinson had the better overall preseason, and he may head into Week 1 as Gerhart's top backup. As the situation remains murky, we can only hope that the Jags will provide some clarity following the conclusion of Thursday's game.

Robinson had 12 yards on one carry and four yards on one reception in Friday's preseason game against the Lions.

Jordan Todman, who's had no luck on the ground this preseason, once again worked as the clear top backup to Toby Gerhart. There have been whispers of Robinson being a threat to Todman's role, as the former quarterback is having the better preseason. Robinson's speed-based game would provide an interesting contrast to Gerhart's thumping style, but it's still not entirely clear how the backup touches will be divided. With Gerhart expected to work in a three-down role, there may not be much left to divvy up.

Working behind Jordan Todman and Storm Johnson, Robinson rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown on seven carries in Friday's preseason opener against the Bucs.

Robinson is listed third on the depth chart, but he didn't touch the ball until the second half, even though starter Toby Gerhart (hip) was out. Seventh-round rookie Storm Johnson worked as Jordan Todman's backup, and it may be that Robinson is trying to fend off Johnson for the No. 3 role, rather than challenging Todman for backup duties. That would fit with recent reports suggesting that Todman is essentially locked in as the top backup.
