Colts FS Antoine Bethea and LE Robert Mathis were missing as the team opened mandatory minicamps on Friday. |
As previously mentioned, Reggie Wayne is also staying away. All three want new contracts. Coach Jim Caldwell doesn't sound overly concerned yet. "There are times that happen during the course of the season where certain guys may not be able to go," he said. "So what we do it adjust and keep moving." |

The Indianapolis Star wouldn't be surprised if restricted free agent FS Antoine Bethea gets a long-term deal. |
Bethea has yet to sign his one-year tender, but we doubt he'll be able to force the Colts into giving him a mulit-year extension. As a RFA, the Colts can make him play this year out for $2.521 million before discussing a new contract. |
