Responding to Richard Sherman's criticism of his arm strength, Peyton Manning admitted on Thursday he throws "ducks."

"I do throw ducks," Manning said. "I throw a lot of yards and touchdowns-ducks, so I'm actually quite proud of it." This is hardly bulletin-board material, but Sherman should be careful lest he finds himself in the position of so many corners before him; watching one of Manning's ducks float over his head and into the waiting arms of a receiver in the end zone.

The NFL has previously said that if a winter storm is expected, the game could be moved to Saturday, Monday, or Tuesday. Worst-case scenario would be for Super Bowl to be pushed back to February 9. We're not at that point.

Although the notion of sitting players when high playoff seeding is locked in makes sense logically, the result of doing so has rarely paid off for teams who employ the strategy.
