Sun Dec 1 201320:02Peyton drops 403 yards, 5 TDs on Kansas City
Peyton Manning completed 22-of-35 passes for 403 yards, five touchdowns, and two interceptions as the Broncos held off the Chiefs 35-28 in Week 13.
The Chiefs couldn't generate pass rush without Justin Houston, so Manning went to work on rookie LCB Marcus Cooper. Eric Decker burned Cooper relentlessly, scoring four times, and Manning's fifth touchdown throw came on a swing pass to Knowshon Moreno out of the backfield from three yards out. On fire again, Peyton will continue to be an elite QB1 when Denver hosts Tennessee in Week 14.

Sun Nov 24 201310:14SNF forecast: Low temps, 20-22 MPH winds
Weather.com is projecting temperatures of 20 degrees and below with winds in the 20-22MPH range for Sunday night's Broncos-Patriots game in Foxboro.
There is no chance of precipitation, but Weather.com says it will "feel like" 3-6 degrees throughout Sunday night's game with the windchill factor. Per ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss, Peyton Manning has a career record of 3-7 when the temperature is below 32 degrees at kickoff, with a career TD-to-INT ratio of 11:13. It's entirely possible Manning bucks his career trends in one particular game, but also entirely possible the Broncos have devised a run-heavy plan of attack against a depleted Patriots defensive front seven. Denver is also in danger of being without Julius Thomas (knee, questionable).

Mon Nov 18 201300:25Peyton Manning held to one touchdown vs KC
Peyton Manning completed 24-of-40 passes for 323 yards and one touchdown in Sunday night's Week 11 win over the Chiefs.
It's the first time this season Manning has been held to just one touchdown. He still threw for over 300 yards for the fourth straight game and completed 60 percent of his passes, but the Broncos played conservatively in the second half, leaning on a committee attack from Knowshon Moreno and Montee Ball. Manning's lone touchdown came on a six-yard slant to Julius Thomas in the first quarter. The win puts Denver in first place in the AFC West and in the drivers seat for the top overall seed. Manning will be a top-three QB1 in Week 12 against the Patriots.

Fri Nov 15 201314:19Peyton Manning listed as probable to face KC
Peyton Manning (ankle) practiced again Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday Night Football against the Chiefs.
Manning's high ankle sprain was a big story all week ahead of the showdown between 9-0 and 8-1 division rivals, but he was never in danger of sitting out. The probable tag means the Broncos consider Peyton a "virtual certainty" to be available for his normal quarterback duties against the Chiefs. The matchup is difficult, but Manning is to be started with confidence in Week 11.

Manning has yet to throw for less than 295 yards or two touchdowns this season.

Mon Nov 11 201309:08Peyton Manning expected to be 'fine'
According to ProFootballTalk, the "thinking" is that Peyton Manning (knee, ankle) will be "fine."
Manning was able to finish Sunday's win following a low hit from Chargers RE Corey Liuget. He admitted he's getting an MRI Monday and was "pretty sore," but it would be an absolute shock if he doesn't play in the Week 11 showdown with the 9-0 Chiefs. Other than the neck injury that knocked him out of the entire 2011 season, Manning has never missed a game in his 15-year career.

Sun Nov 10 201320:29Peyton Manning undergoing MRI on Monday
Peyton Manning (knee, ankles) will undergo an MRI on Monday.
"I'm pretty sore," Manning said after taking a hit to his lower half late in Sunday's win over the Chargers. "They kind of got me twice in that lower area. ... Get an MRI tomorrow and will know more then." Chargers RE Corey Liuget took Manning down by his troublesome ankles, but it actually appeared to be his right knee that he was favoring as he led the Broncos through kneel-down mode. Manning collapsed to his knees after first getting up from the hit, and had to call a timeout to stay in the game. It's unlikely to be anything that prevents Manning from suiting up for next week's game with the Chiefs, but it's obviously a situation worth monitoring. His status will be updated no later than Monday afternoon.

It was just an informal session heading into the Broncos' bye week. With his 2,919 passing yards being the most in league history through eight games, Manning remains on pace to shatter Drew Brees' single-season record. He'll be ready to roll for Week 10 against the Chargers.

Mon Oct 28 201308:22Peyton Manning brushes off ankle injury
Following Sunday's win over the Redskins, Peyton Manning brushed off his ankle sprain.
Manning's ankle was not the reason he threw a season-high three interceptions. He was not limping for favoring the joint. "Actually, I felt pretty good out there today," said Manning. "I felt like I was moving around, and I was able to move in the pocket a little bit." Now he has a bye week to heal up and should be near 100 percent for the Week 10 game against the Chargers. Manning is on pace for 5,838 passing yards, 58 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Sun Oct 27 201319:43Manning tosses 4 TDs, 3 INTs in rout of WSH
Peyton Manning completed 30-of-44 passes for 354 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions in Denver's 45-21 Week 8 win over the Redskins.
Manning also lost a fumble. As the stat-line indicates, it was far from Manning's crispest outing of the season, but he didn't seem to be bothered by his twin ankle injuries, while his passes had a little more zip than they did in Denver's Week 7 loss to the Colts. Manning started trading picks with Robert Griffin III in a game that got ragged late, but it was an all-in-all reassuring effort after he appeared to have a dead arm in Indy. Now up to a preposterous 29 touchdowns through his first eight games, Manning has an appetizing Week 9 matchup in the Chargers.
