Mon Aug 1 201109:25Redskins closing in on deal with K Graham
The Redskins are "closing in" on a deal with free agent K Shayne Graham, sources tell Chris Russell.
Graham will be competition for incumbent Graham Gano, who hit an ugly 68.6 percent of his field goals last season. Graham is still only 34 and made 86.0 percent of his chances since breaking into the league in 2001.

Tue Nov 9 201015:58Patriots sign kicker Shayne Graham
Patriots signed K Shayne Graham.
Graham was 4-of-4 on PATs with the Giants three weeks ago. He's a more than capable replacement for Stephen Gostkowski on field goals, but the Pats' kickoff distance will suffer.

Tue Nov 9 201012:34Graham expected to sign with Pats
The Boston Herald's Ian R. Rapoport has backed up a previous CSNNE.com report that the Patriots are expected to sign K Shayne Graham.
Stephen Gostkowski is expected to miss a couple weeks of action, though the Patriots, not surprisingly, have yet to officially comment on his status. Graham had been one of the most accurate kickers in the league until a disappointing end to his Bengals career.

Mon Nov 8 201013:24Pats likely to look to Graham
The Patriots are expected to sign K Shayne Graham to fill in for the injured Stephen Gostkowski.
Graham filled in for the Giants' Lawrence Tynes in Week 6 and made all four extra point attempts but didn't try a field goal. Gostkowski is expected to miss a couple weeks of action.

Mon Oct 18 201016:56Giants release K Graham
Giants released K Shayne Graham.
Lawrence Tynes (ankle) is expected to resume starting in Week 7 against Dallas. Graham could be an option in San Diego, where Nate Kaeding is hurt.
Sun Oct 17 201011:33Giants K Tynes inactive, Graham will kick
Lawrence Tynes (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Lions and Shayne Graham will serve as the Giants' kicker.
Graham immediately becomes a fantasy kicking option in a game that projects to be high scoring. The ex-Bengal came into this season as the fourth-most accurate kicker in the history of the NFL. Tynes reportedly had a setback on Saturday, so it's possible Graham could hold this job for multiple weeks. Other Giants inactives: DB Brian Jackson, RB DJ Ware, FB Madison Hedgecock, LB Keith Bulluck, LB Phillip Dillard, T Will Beatty and DE Mathias Kiwanuka.
Sat Oct 16 201011:59Giants sign K Shayne Graham with Tynes hurt
Giants signed K Shayne Graham.
Graham will provide insurance, as Lawrence Tynes (ankle) was unable to kick in Saturday's morning walk-thru. There's an outside chance that Graham runs away with the job, as Tynes has hit just five out of his eight attempts this season. Tynes looks like he'll be a game time decision, making both kickers non-options in fantasy for Week 6.

Thu Oct 7 201014:13Report: Patriots work out Graham, Suisham
The Patriots reportedly worked out free agent kickers Shayne Graham and Shaun Suisham on Wednesday.
Stephen Gostkowski missed a couple of kicks early in the season, but it's doubtful that he's on thin ice after forcing five touchbacks on Monday night. This is probably just due diligence for the Pats.

Sat Sep 4 201012:35Ravens release kicker Shayne Graham
Ravens released K Shayne Graham.
The fourth-most accurate kicker in NFL history lost out to an eight-year veteran who has never cleared the 80-percent mark on field goals. He'll be at the top of the call list as soon as another team's kicker runs into problems early in the season.

Sun Aug 1 201009:43Ravens say kicker battle will go on awhile
Ravens special teams coach Jerry Rosburg said he doesn't expect the Ravens to name a kicker until the end of the preseason.
Shayne Graham is competing with Billy Cundiff, a battle we fully expect Graham to win. Although the former Bengals' kicker has struggled in some big spots recently, he remains one of the more accurate kickers around. It's unlikely he'll give Cundiff an opening by choking in a preseason game.

Fri Jun 4 201009:26Graham could have gone back to Bengals
Shayne Graham had the opportunity to return to the Bengals this offseason, but he opted against it.
"Unfortunately, he has the demons of the last kicks here when he didn't make them," explained Bengals coach Marvin Lewis. While Graham is the fourth-most accurate kicker in NFL history, he has struggled in clutch situations the past few years. As last year's playoffs showed, he's not alone.

Thu Jun 3 201010:15Done deal: Ravens sign kicker Shayne Graham
Ravens signed K Shayne Graham to a one-year deal worth close to $2.5 million with incentives.
Officially, Graham is "competing" with holdover Billy Cundiff. Realistically, a team expected to contend for the Super Bowl wasn't going to open the season with a career 73.6 percentage kicker on field goals. Graham (85.2 percent) will win the battle barring a face-plant this summer.

Free agent K Shayne Graham has arrived in Baltimore and is expected to sign a deal with the Ravens.
Word broke early Tuesday that Graham and the Ravens were close to a deal, and he's apparently in Baltimore to sign on the dotted line. With John Harbaugh's team, Graham will compete with Billy Cundiff for the starting job.

Tue Jun 1 201011:49Ravens closing in on deal with K Graham
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Ravens are nearing a deal with free agent K Shayne Graham.
The deal is expected to be for one year. Graham struggled last season with Cincinnati, especially in the playoffs, but isn't too old to rebound (32) and is the fourth most accurate kicker in league history. He should be an upgrade over journeyman holdover Billy Cundiff across the board.

Tue Apr 13 201016:35Ravens won't sign kicker before draft
Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome indicated that he does not anticipate signing a free agent kicker before next Thursday's NFL Draft.
The Ravens are reported to have interest in Shayne Graham as competition for Billy Cundiff, and Newsome confirmed that he is interested in some of the veteran free agents available. Matt Stover and Mike Nugent are the best of the rest.

Mon Apr 5 201012:02Ravens expected to sign Shayne Graham
With Neil Rackers apparently headed to the Jets, the Ravens are expected to sign free agent K Shayne Graham.
Baltimore beat reporter Jamison Hensley predicted in an online chat a week ago that Graham would be the team's top kicking target, regardless of Rackers' situation. Graham, 32, can expect an offer approaching $1.5M a year.
