Tue Oct 29 201301:20D-Rich totals 47 yards on nine touches on MNF
Daryl Richardson rushed for 39 yards on eight carries in Week 8 versus Seattle.
Richardson added one catch for eight yards as he saw his most extensive action since Week 5. The second-year back took his first carry 14 yards around the left edge then saw plenty of work on the final drive after Zac Stacy injured his ankle. Richardson has yet to find the end zone in his career and was stuffed at the one-yard line on the second-to-last play Monday night. He could be in line to take over lead-back duties once again if Stacy's injury is serious.

Sun Oct 6 201316:16Daryl Richardson operates as No. 2 back
Daryl Richardson rushed 13 times for 48 yards in Sunday's Week 5 win over the Jaguars.
As he promised via Twitter early in the week, Richardson did not start. But he didn't completely fall off the radar entirely, working in as a change-of-pace back behind new starter Zac Stacy. And once Stacy left in the fourth quarter due to a rib injury, Richardson took over as the feature back once again. Richardson is now the clear-cut No. 2 option in St. Louis' backfield, but he could start again if Stacy's injury proves serious.

Wed Oct 2 201316:07D-Rich now says he's part of 'competition'
Daryl Richardson backtracked following Wednesday's practice and now says "there will be a competition" at running back this week.
Richardson tweeted earlier in the day that he wasn't going to start against the Jaguars on Sunday. Coach Jeff Fisher was then noncommittal on the matter. "I haven't decided yet," Fisher said. "We'll probably play most, if not all of the running backs, if they're active." There is no longer a lead dog in the St. Louis backfield. Richardson, Isaiah Pead, Benny Cunningham, and Zac Stacy could all see action.

Wed Oct 2 201315:22Rams noncommtital on running back situation
Rams coach Jeff Fisher was noncommittal when asked if Daryl Richardson will start this week.
"I haven't decided yet," Fisher said. "We'll probably play most, if not all of the running backs, if they're active." The Rams currently have the 32nd ranked rushing offense and are moving to a full-blown committee. Benny Cunningham, Isaiah Pead, and Zac Stacy are all candidates for bigger roles. If Richardson doesn't start, it sounds like he could still be in the mix for change-of-pace duties.

Fri Sep 27 201300:47Daryl Richardson held to 16 yards on TNF
Daryl Richardson rushed 12 times for 16 yards in Thursday night's Week 4 loss to the 49ers.
Richardson struggled to do anything between the tackles and looked overmatched in pass protection. With Isaiah Pead inactive, he rotated series with Benny Cunningham in the second half when the Rams abandoned their running game. Richardson had just one catch for eight yards and was targeted twice by Sam Bradford. He managed to make it through the game without any setbacks and will be a mid-to-low end RB3/FLEX option in Week 5 against the Jaguars.

Wed Sep 25 201317:11Daryl Richardson (foot) officially probable
Daryl Richardson (foot) is officially listed as probable for Thursday night's Week 4 game against the 49ers.
Richardson practiced in full the past two days and has reportedly had more "spring to his step" this week. We'd shy away from Richardson this week unless you're in a bye-week crunch. Richardson will likely split snaps with Isaiah Pead.

Wed Sep 25 201311:28Daryl Richardson looking good at practice
Daryl Richardson (foot) has reportedly had more "spring to his step" during practice this week.
Richardson's injury is confusing because he lasted just two snaps in Week 3, but is practicing in full just a couple days later. It's impossible to know if he'll be limited against the Niners on Thursday night. We suspect Isaiah Pead will be mixed in plenty, leaving both guys as risky flex plays even though San Francisco will be without Patrick Willis (groin) and Aldon Smith (personal).

Daryl Richardson (foot) said he'll be "good to go" for Thursday night's Week 4 game against the 49ers.
Richardson played just two snaps in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys before spending the rest of the day on the sideline. He had his foot stepped on by George Selvie. "I'm good to go for Thursday," Richardson said. "It's a little [frustrating] but you have got to just keep praying and treating it because when it's time to go, you've got to be ready to go." Richardson will be nothing more than a flex option. Isaiah Pead and Benny Cunningham will also get reps.

Daryl Richardson (foot) is listed as probable for Week 3.
He'll start Sunday's game against the Cowboys, who may be without LE Anthony Spencer (knee) after Spencer failed to practice Friday. If Richardson wants to keep the starting tailback job, he's going to have to pick up his YPC.

Thu Sep 19 201319:43Daryl Richardson resumes practicing Thursday
Daryl Richardson (foot) returned to Rams practice Thursday, getting in a full session.
Wednesday was just a day of rest for the Rams' shaky starting running back. His lack of production (98 yards on 30 carries) is a far bigger concern. Isaiah Pead could start getting some real run as D-Rich's backup this weekend.

Daryl Richardson (foot) resumed practicing Thursday, and "got a fair amount of work."
It sounds like D-Rich will get a "full" tag after sitting out on Wednesday. Coach Jeff Fisher has already confirmed that Richardson is in no danger of missing Sunday's game. Even with Isaiah Pead back off suspension, D-Rich will be a solid FLEX play against the Falcons.

Wed Sep 11 201320:22Daryl Richardson may have foot ailment
Updating a previous item, the Rams listed Daryl Richardson's absence from Wednesday's practice as being due to a foot ailment.
It's believed he just got the day off, with Isaiah Pead practicing for the first time since his suspension kicked in and Richardson coming off the biggest workload of his NFL career. Richardson can't be trusted to handle 25 touches every week, but he's still squarely on the RB2/flex radar as the lead back in St. Louis. He's got a good matchup against the Falcons in Week 2.
