49ers LT Joe Staley (concussion) has received full clearance to play in Monday's game against the Steelers, a source tells CSN Bay Area.

49ers LT Joe Staley (concussion, questionable) is expected to start in Monday night's game against the Steelers.
Staley missed practice all week but passed a series of neurological tests and was cleared to take part in non-contact, walk-through sessions on Saturday. If active, he'll lineup up against OLB Jason Worilds, who fills in for the suspended James Harrison.

Mon Jan 3 201114:37Joe Staley healthy enough to play
49ers LT Joe Staley (fractured fibula) could've played in Week 17 had the game against Arizona been meaningful.
He would've been fully medically cleared had the Niners earned a playoff berth. Though the 49ers drafted Anthony Davis in 2010 with designs on eventually moving him to left tackle, Staley doesn't figure to "lose" the position in 2011 barring drastic strides from the still-raw Davis. Staley, 26, signed a lengthy extension in 2009 and figures to return to the blind side.

Tue Nov 23 201008:26Bucs sack Smith six times
The Bucs entered Week 11 with eight sacks as a team, but they sacked 49ers quarterback Troy Smith six times on 37 dropbacks in the 21-0 shutout.
Rookie RT Anthony Davis is really struggling, and the Niners miss LT Joe Staley (fractured fibula) dearly. Staley hopes to be back before the end of the season, but it seems unlikely. Joey Porter and the Cardinals will be licking their chops in Week 12.

Mon Nov 15 201012:26LT Staley hopes to return this season
49ers LT Joe Staley (fractured fibula) hopes to return before the end of the season.
It's been pegged as a 4-6 week injury, and the Niners have seven games remaining. Staley went back in the game briefly after the injury following X-rays that were negative. But he then got kicked in the injured area and returned to the sideline. "That's when I knew I broke it," he said. Barry Sims will take over at left tackle while Staley is out and is a significant downgrade.

49ers LT Joe Staley left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury.
