It's been pegged as a 4-6 week injury, and the Niners have seven games remaining. Staley went back in the game briefly after the injury following X-rays that were negative. But he then got kicked in the injured area and returned to the sideline. "That's when I knew I broke it," he said. Barry Sims will take over at left tackle while Staley is out and is a significant downgrade. | ||||||
