Jackson suffered a slight fracture to his right wrist in Week 3, but after landing on the injury report in the subsequent week of preparation, he didn't make an appearance prior to Sunday's overtime loss in New Orleans. Through five contests, he's garnered at least nine targets on four occasions, meaning his presence will be imperative to fantasy pursuits this coming Sunday against the Ravens. Meanwhile, whatever spurred his lack of practice Wednesday should be known soon enough.

Jackson led the Buccaneers with eight receptions for 144 yards in Sunday's overtime loss to the Saints.

Although he didn't score, Jackson had his biggest game of the season, eclipsing 51 receiving yards for the first time. Quarterback Mike Glennon targeted him 12 times, and Jackson owners can expect another large chunk of opportunities next week with Mike Evans expected to sit out once again.

Jackson was having an incredibly quiet fantasy day but turned it around by catching a game-winning five-yard touchdown pass with five seconds left in the game. He has yet to catch more than four passes in a game this season, but he's averaging 8.7 targets per game and had a season-high 10 on Sunday with Mike Glennon under center. Jackson had some big games with Glennon throwing to him last season, and with rookie Mike Evans suffering a groin injury Sunday, Jackson could see an even bigger workload in Week 5 at the Saints.

A week of full practices has probably left fantasy owners unconcerned about Jackson's health, but the team's shaky play at quarterback has dampened his impact to date. Jackson has only 10 catches, 102 yards and one touchdown through three games, and while his output can't stand to plummet further under newly-appointed starter Mike Glennon, a fourth consecutive 1,000-yard season may be at risk.

Jackson's wrist injury apparently isn't much of an issue, as he practiced fully all week. He's in a very unstable situation due to Josh McCown's absence and the uncertainty at Tampa Bay's offensive coordinator position, but the good news is that quarterback Mike Glennon probably can't be any worse than McCown was.

Despite coming down with a purported fracture in his right wrist in last Thursday's loss in Atlanta, Jackson followed up Monday's unfettered practice with another Wednesday. The receiver will apparently cope with the injury by wearing a wrap, but it remains to be seen how effective he'll be during his first test Sunday at Pittsburgh.

Jackson, who is reportedly dealing with a small fracture in his right wrist, practiced as normal Monday, with his wrist wrapped, according to Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times.

So far there has been nothing to suggest that Jackson's wrist issue will hamper his chances of suiting up in Week 4 against the Steelers, a notion supported by the work that the wideout was able to get in on Monday.

While Jackson reportedly suffered a small fracture in his wrist this past Thursday against the Falcons, foxsports.com indicates that the injury won't cause the wideout to miss any action.

Based on that, the wideout's status for this coming Sunday's game against the Steelers does not appear in danger, though his practice participation could be impacted by the issue. While presumably playing through the issue this past Thursday, Jackson recorded two catches for 15 yards and a touchdown on nine targets.

Jackson struggled along with the rest of his teammates, and got no help whatsoever from his quarterbacks. He got away with a clear offensive pass interference on his touchdown, which cut a 56-0 lead to 56-7 in the fourth quarter. Whether it's Josh McCown (thumb) or Mike Glennon under center in Pittsburgh next week, Jackson will likely have to overcome shaky quarterback play. At this point, fantasy owners may want to root for Glennon, as Jackson at least had a decent year while playing with the young signal-caller last season.

Jackson made four catches on seven targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 19-17 loss to St. Louis.

Despite Jackson's modest stat line Sunday, he actually led Tampa Bay in all receiving categories. Josh McCown has been up-and-down through the first two games, but expect Jackson to put up strong numbers soon.

Part of Jackson's inefficiency was the fact he was going up against one of the best defenses in the league. He should get going soon though, and he'll attempt to that as early as Week 2 against St. Louis.

As rookie Mike Evans continues to draw more and more attention from opposing secondaries, Jackson should see more single-coverage opportunities. Evans caught a 24-yard touchdown Saturday and has mostly impressed during the preseason. Evans' contributions, coupled with improved quarterback play from Josh McCown, could result in a monster season for Jackson.

Jackson caught a pass for 18 yards on his only target in Friday's preseason opener against the Jaguars.

The Bucs' first-team offense was disastrous, as Josh McCown had minimal time to throw behind a porous offensive line. Jackson may benefit from the improved talent around him this season, but if the line doesn't hold up, he could find himself on another poor offensive team, only this time with more competition for targets. Given the skill-position and coaching upgrades, the Bucs might improve on offense, even if the line is sub-par.

Jackson dominated targets once again Sunday, seeing a game-high 12 passes come his way. Once Mike Williams and Doug Martin went down with their respective injuries this season, Jackson became the focal point of the offense and arguably the only playmaker. He finished the season with a new career-high in catches (78), turning them into 1,224 yards and seven touchdowns. It's Jackson's fifth 1,000-yard season of his career. Jackson is due $10 million in the third year of a five-year deal next season. He'll return as a 31-year-old borderline WR1/2.

V-Jax is ahead of where he was last week. He'll be ready to go for Sunday's game against the Rams. V-Jax is a boom-or-bust WR2 for the fantasy finals.

And this is why V-Jax is an every-week fantasy starter, even in difficult matchups. He is heavily targeted by Mike Glennon and scores touchdowns, simply put. V-Jax's second-quarter touchdown finally got the Bucs on the board, at that point making the score 17-7 in an otherwise anemic performance for Tampa Bay's offense. He'll continue to be a WR2 when Tampa takes on St. Louis in Week 16.

Jackson was able to practice each day this week, suggesting his tender hamstring is not a serious concern. The reason he's only a mid-range WR2 at best is because the Niners have the league's No. 4 pass defense. There are no surprises in the Bucs inactives: G Carl Nicks, CB Deveron Carr, RB Lonnie Pryor, S Bradley McDougald, LB Danny Lansanah, G Patrick Omameh and DT Gary Gibson.
