Fri May 24 201315:11Colts try out Dante Rosario
The Colts tried out free agent TE Dante Rosario on Thursday.
Indy GM Ryan Grigson was likely just updating his "emergency list." A special teamer and situational tight end, Rosario is seemingly good for a fluky monster fantasy game once per year. He scored three TDs in Week 2 last season.

Sun Sep 16 201219:39Without Gates, Rosario gets 3 TDs on 4 grabs
Chargers TE Dante Rosario scored three touchdowns on four catches to go along with 48 receiving yards in Sunday's win over the Titans.
Without Antonio Gates, Rosario saw most of the goal line tight end work and it paid off in the form of three scores. However, on all three Rosario was fairly wide open and almost seemed to be unaccounted for by the Titans' defense. He did leave at one point in the game but returned after what appeared to be a minor injury or cramps.

Chargers signed TE Dante Rosario to a one-year contract.
Rosario, 27, is athletic at 6-foot-4, 250 and can run down kicks and punts on special teams. He'll likely compete directly for a roster spot with Kory Sperry. The Chargers' top two tight ends are Antonio Gates and Randy McMichael.

Sun Jul 31 201116:37Broncos sign TE Dante Rosario
Broncos agreed to terms with TE Dante Rosario, formerly of the Panthers.
Reunited with coach John Fox, Rosario is expected compete with Dan Gronkowski for the Broncos' "off-the-line" tight end job. It's an indication that rookies Virgil Green and Julius Thomas won't be rushed into the lineup early in the season. We'd steer clear of Denver's tight ends for fantasy purposes, though Rosario is probably the best bet to lead the crew in catches.

Free agent TE Dante Rosario has set up a visit with the Broncos.
We called this one awhile ago. The Broncos are looking for a veteran tight end who can pitch on special teams, and Rosario played under coach John Fox in Carolina. He won't be back with the Panthers.

Thu Jul 14 201115:01Dante Rosario unsure of Carolina future
Free agent TE Dante Rosario isn't sure if the Panthers will re-sign him this summer.
"I could be with Carolina; there's a good chance I will," Rosario said. "Or, I could for another reason be with another team. That's still unknown." With Jeremy Shockey now on board, the Panthers may choose between Rosario or Jeff King as the backup. The consolation prize could be reuniting with coach John Fox in Denver.
