Mon Mar 28 2011 | 12:36 | Sparano highlights Marlon Moore |
Coach Tony Sparano singled out WR Marlon Moore as someone that can bring speed to the Dolphins' offense. |
You know it's bad when Sparano has to point to a 2010 undrafted free agent when asked about playmakers. The Dolphins should be targeting speed in the draft as Moore is not a realistic long-term option even as a fourth receiver. |

Sun Dec 19 2010 | 12:08 | Dolphins declare Week 15 inactives |
Dolphins declared WR Marlon Moore, TE Mickey Shuler, TE Jeron Mastrud, T Matt Kopa, G Eric Ghiaciuc, DL Chris Baker, DL Ryan Baker, and CB Nate Ness inactive for Week 15 against the Bills. |
Kevin Curtis is active ahead of Moore in his first week with the Dolphins. Expect him to play as the fourth receiver. |
Wed Dec 1 2010 | 08:24 | Moore likely to be inactive for Marshall? |
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald thinks Marlon Moore will go back to being inactive once Brandon Marshall (hamstring) is ready to return. |
In just his fifth game on the active roster Sunday, Moore hauled in a 57-yard touchdown pass. The undrafted rookie has some upside, but he isn't a great special teams player, which hurts his chances of sticking on the roster. |

Fri Aug 27 2010 | 19:48 | Marlon Moore secures fourth receiver job |
Undrafted rookie Marlon Moore appears to have secured the Dolphins' No. 4 receiver job. |
He entered in four-receiver sets Friday against Atlanta, ahead of Patrick Turner and Roberto Wallace. Moore wasn't even the No. 1 option at Fresno State last year (it was Chargers rookie Seyi Ajirotutu), going to show how shallow the Fins have become at receiver following the Greg Camarillo trade. |

Thu Aug 26 2010 | 11:04 | Moore to be the slot man if Bess goes down? |
Beat writer Omar Kelly suggests that Marlon Moore is Davone Bess' backup in the slot. |
With Greg Camarillo gone, undrafted rookie Moore has a real shot to make the team. According to Kelly, Moore was already being "groomed" for the slot gig before Camarillo was shipped out of town. |

Mon Aug 9 2010 | 20:12 | Marlon Moore listed ahead of Patrick Turner |
Undrafted rookie WR Marlon Moore is listed ahead of 2009 third-round pick Patrick Turner on the Dolphins initial camp depth chart. |
Moore, who goes 6'0/190, caught just 15 passes in 10 games last year at Fresno State, so this is another indictment of the disappointing Turner. Turner still has a better chance to make the roster than Moore because of his draft status, but that's the only thing keeping Turner alive at this point. |
