Cofield first had his patella tendon reconstructed, and then he underwent the microfracture surgery when doctors found his cartilage wearing away. Cofield admitted that he didn't feel good during last year's disappointing season, but he says he's now recovered a year after the surgery. Cofield's experience doesn't bode well for Kenny Phillips chances at effectiveness early this season. | ||||||
