A poor man's Chad Greenway, Edds fits the Bill Parcells profile with ideal size (6-foot-4, 245) and plenty of athleticism. He was a playmaker in coverage for the Hawkeyes, intercepting an impressive five passes as a senior to earn second-team All-Big Ten honors. Edds projects as a "Ted" linebacker in time, and will play behind Karlos Dansby there initially.
