Quarless caught two passes for a season-best 50 yards in Sunday's victory over the Vikings.
Quarless has not caught more than two passes in a game since Week 3, but he has made a more profound impact on the offense of late, putting up 95 yards and a touchdown over the last three weeks after tallying just 135 yards and two scores in his first eight games of the season.

Quarless caught two passes for 35 yards in Sunday's victory over the Eagles.
Quarless racked up more yards Sunday's game than he did in all but one game prior to that. He is the Packers' starting tight end and does have three touchdowns on the season, but his lack of yardage makes him a boom-or-bust fantasy option at best.

Quarless caught 2-of-5 targets for 10 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 55-14 win over the Bears.
All three Green Bay tight ends played a role, with Richards Rodgers catching 2-of-3 targets for six yards, while Brandon Bostick caught 1-of-2 targets for a one-yard touchdown on a 4th-and-goal. Bostick hasn't actually seen much of the field outside of blowouts and heavy formations, but with Rodgers and Quarless splitting snaps, it's hard for either to consistently do much.

Quarless caught two passes for 19 yards in Sunday's loss to the Saints.
Quarless has scored twice this season, but he has finished with less than 20 yards in six of the Packers' eight games, and continues to work as the backup tight end behind Richard Rodgers.

Quarless had one catch for nine yards in Sunday's win over the Panthers.
For as good as Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are playing right now, the tight end position remains a fantasy no-man's land. Quarless has just 107 total yards in seven games.

Quarless had two catches for 11 yards, including the game-winning touchdown, in Sunday's 27-24 victory over Miami.
Quarless' score brought the Packers back from a late deficit and salvaged an otherwise silent statistical day. Among Aaron Rodgers' receivers, Quarless rarely benefits from a high number of targets, and his output remains highly inconsistent as a result.

Quarless caught 2-of-2 targets for 19 yards in Thursday's 42-10 win over the Vikings.
According to Paul Imig of FOX Sports, Quarless got the starting nod over Brandon Bostick and Richard Rodgers, neither of whom saw any targets while Aaron Rodgers was still in the game. Though Quarless was most involved in the passing game Thursday night, he wasn't targeted at all in Sunday's win over the Bears, which saw Rodgers catch two passes for 52 yards. The Green Bay tight ends don't have much fantasy appeal with their 12 combined receptions, 10 of which belong to Quarless.
Mon Sep 29 201410:41Quarless not targeted in Sunday's victory over Bears
Quarless was not targeted in Sunday's victory over the Bears.
Quarless made marginal fantasy contributions over the first three weeks with 77 receiving yards and a touchdown, but he was shut out in the box score in Week 4. Quarless did play 43 of a possible 52 snaps Sunday, but his goose egg indicates that his fantasy production will remain sporadic.

Quarless had four catches on five targets for 43 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Lions.
Quarless had a nice bounce back game after his one catch for eight yards in Week 2 against the Jets. He will continue to split looks with Richard Rodgers and Brandon Bostick, with none of the three terribly great fantasy options in most leagues.

Quarless caught one pass for eight yards in Sunday's victory over the Jets.
The tight ends were largely invisible for the Packers on Sunday, as Quarless was the only tight end to catch a pass. Expect his production to remain minimal, particularly with fellow tight end Brandon Bostick back in action.

Quarless had three catches for 26 yards on four targets in Thursday's season opener against the Seahawks.
All three of Quarless' receptions came in the second quarter while Richard Rodgers was sidelined by a neck injury. Rodgers, who returned in the second half, was not targeted on the night, despite getting the start over Quarless. Assuming Rodgers is healthy, the two tight ends will likely continue to split snaps in Week 2 against the Jets, making it hard to rely on either for anything. It's worth nothing that while he wasn't targeted, Rodgers did see more playing time than Quarless early in Thursday's game.

Quarless caught one pass for six yards on three targets in Thursday's preseason finale against the Chiefs.
Richard Rodgers, who started each of the four preseason games, remains the favorite to get the starting nod in Week 1. However, while he probably didn't do himself any favors Thursday night, Quarless still figures to have some kind of role in the offense, and could eventually make a push for the starting job. With Brandon Bostick (leg) expected back at some point in the first half of the season, there may eventually be a third competitor for snaps and targets.
Fri Aug 22 201423:41Quarless hauled in only target for six-yard touchdown in Friday'...
Quarless hauled in his only target for a six-yard touchdown in Friday's preseason game against the Raiders.
Richard Rodgers got a third consecutive start, finishing his night with two catches for 40 yards on three targets. While Rodgers is the favorite to start Week 1 in Seattle, this competition won't necessarily end with the beginning of the regular season. Quarless could cut into Rodgers' snaps, or even assume the starting role if the rookie struggles. Also worth mentioning is Brandon Bostick (leg), who is expected to miss at least the first week of the season, but may eventually have a role in the offense.

Quarless may be losing ground to rookie Richard Rodgers in the Packers' current competition to start at tight end, ESPN.com reports.
Quarless did lead the Packers with four receptions (on five targets) for 58 yards, including a 35-yard gain from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but the report notes Richard Rodgers started his second straight game with Green Bay's first-team. Additionally, fellow tight end Brandon Bostick was targeted before Quarless' first catch and Quarless also dropped a fourth-and-goal target while being called for offensive pass interference as well. While the Packers' competition remains fluid, it appears the rookie Rodgers could be the front-runner, which Friday's next exhibition outing could add context to.

Quarless led all Packers receivers with four receptions (on five targets) for 58 yards in Saturday's preseason victory in St. Louis.
Most of Quarless' output came on a 35-yard strike from Aaron Rodgers to conclude the first quarter, but perhaps the most important development was taking on reps with the first-team offense once again. In the preseason opener, Quarless played second fiddle to rookie tight end Richard Rodgers, but roles were reversed Saturday, which coincided with Rodgers' first exhibition action of the year. As a result, Quarless appears to be the best bet for tight end production once Week 1 rolls around.

Quarless, who is listed atop the initial depth chart, ceded starting duties to Richard Rodgers in Saturday's preseason opener against the Titans.
While it isn't a good sign for Quarless that he was passed over for the third-round rookie, this battle won't be decided in the first week of the preseason. In addition to Rodgers and Quarless, Brandon Bostick is also thought to be in the mix for the No. 1 tight end job.
Mon Aug 4 201423:25Quarless listed as starting tight end on Packers' first official...
Quarless is listed as the starting tight end on the Packers' first official depth chart of the preseason, Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Quarless is the Packers' most experienced tight end, so it does not come as a big surprise that he heads into the preseason opener as the top tight end on the depth chart. Quarless will still be pushed for playing time over the reminder of the preseason by Brandon Bostick, who is listed as the backup tight end, and rookie Richard Rodgers.
Wed Jul 23 201408:28Exec: Andrew Quarless is a 'No. 2'
An NFC North personnel man said he sees Andrew Quarless as a "No. 2."
Quarless rested during the offseason program, allowing third-round rookie Richard Rodgers to shine. Now Quarless has a battle on his hands, and he doesn't have the skill set to blow anyone out of the water in a competition. "He's not a good in-line blocker," the personnel man said. "He's better in space. His overall effort can be up and down. I don't think he's the most physically tough guy or the strongest guy at the point of attack." It's a battle to monitor in camp.

Packers re-signed TE Andrew Quarless.
Quarless was surprisingly drawing strong interest on the open market. He reportedly had as many as eight teams after his services. The 25-year-old hasn't been much of a pass-catcher in his young career but should be given an opportunity to replace Jermichael Finely. Brandon Bostick will also be in the mix.
