Sun Nov 9 201411:39Jimmy Graham: (Shoulder) Active Sunday
Graham (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the 49ers, the Saints' official site reports.
Graham is back to normal after reaching the end zone in back-to-back contests, but his past two performances against the 49ers have been lacking, with 10 catches (on 18 targets) for 74 yards total in his game log. Still, few options exist at tight end with his potential, especially when the Saints' offense is humming along, as it has been in recent weeks.

Graham (shoulder) is probable for Sunday's game against San Francisco.
Graham is rounding into form in recent weeks, shaking off the shoulder issue while snagging 12 passes for 142 yards and two scores in his last two games. It's easy to argue that he's the top tight end option of the week, especially with Rob Gronkowski on bye.
Wed Nov 5 201420:16Jimmy Graham: (Shoulder) Practices In Full Wednesday
Graham (shoulder) practiced fully Wednesday, the Saints' official site reports.
Graham may remain a mainstay on New Orleans' injury report for the rest of the season, but owners shouldn't fret about his presence considering his unhinged status Wednesday. His usage has ramped up each of the last three weeks, with 12 catches (on 13 targets) for 142 yards and two touchdowns spread across the past two. Consequently, he's assured of a starting spot in all lineups as long as he avoids further ailments.

Graham (shoulder) caught 7-of-7 targets for 83 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 28-10 win over the Panthers.
Graham was down for a second after a hard hit during the first quarter, then later appeared to feel some pain in his shoulder in the aftermath of another big hit. No matter, he turned in a strong game for the second straight week, and didn't appear to have his role limited in any way. Even if he has to keep playing at less than 100 percent, Graham should be a steady top-three option at tight end. With 10 days to rest, he may be feeling even better for a tough Week 10 home game against the 49ers.
Thu Oct 30 201419:05Jimmy Graham: (Shoulder) Active Thursday
Graham (shoulder) is active for Thursday's game at Carolina, the Saints' official site reports.
Graham remains less than 100 percent, but after five catches (on six targets) for 59 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Packers, he should again be a mainstay in lineups. Keep in mind, though, that the Panthers allowed their first score of the season to a tight end in Week 8, tempering his potential.

Though Graham is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Panthers, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com suggests that there is little doubt that the tight end will suit up for the contest.
Those planning to roll with Graham this week will still want to verify his status in advance of Thursday's 8:25 ET kickoff to be sure, but on the heels of a five-catch, 59-yard effort (with a TD) against the the Packers in Week 8, Graham looks poised to play a key role in the Saints' Week 9 game plan.
Tue Oct 28 201417:32Jimmy Graham: (Shoulder) Limited Tuesday
Graham (shoulder) was a limited participant at Tuesday's practice, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.
Graham is still not 100 percent, but he said he intends to play again this week. A limited Graham still managed 59 yards and a touchdown in Week 8, so even on a short week, he should be worthy of a start in most fantasy formats.

After playing 42 snaps in Sunday night's win against Green Bay - up from 30 snaps the week before in Detroit - Graham (shoulder) stated that he will "take the next 48 hours ... trying to get the swelling and what-not down and try to get ready [for] Thursday," reports ESPN.com. The Saints play in Carolina on Thursday.
Graham gutted out a five-catch, 59-yard performance a home against the Packers, which included a 22-yard touchdown grab, despite clearly not being 100 percent healthy. With the Saints having a short week, Graham said that he'll "pretty much live in the treatment room" over the next two days. While it's unclear when Graham will be back to 100 percent health, Sunday's performance proved that even a moderately healthy Graham is still worth plugging into most lineups given the mediocrity of the tight end position.

Graham (shoulder) caught 5-of-6 targets for 59 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-23 win over the Packers.
Despite having just one target and no receptions at halftime, Graham turned in a solid performance, showing obvious signs of improvement from last week. He got more playing time and more chances to catch the ball, but he still seemed to sub out a bit more often than usual. His big second half was highlighted by a 22-yard touchdown grab -- his fourth of the year -- over Packers cornerback Tramon Williams in single coverage. Graham and the rest of the Saints offense draw a favorable matchup on short rest this Thursday in Carolina. Assuming no setbacks are reported, the superstar tight end is back to must-start status.

Graham (shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday's game against Green Bay, the Saints' official site reports.
After being limited to 30 snaps and zero catches in Week 7, Graham is out there if you need him Sunday and seems likely to be more involved in the Saints' offense this Sunday, provided he avoids any setbacks with his balky shoulder.
Fri Oct 24 201416:33Jimmy Graham: (Shoulder) Expected to Play
Graham (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against Green Bay but "seems likely" to play after practicing all week in a limited capacity, ESPN NFL Nation's Mike Triplett reports.
Graham is generally expected to play since he practiced all week and managed to play 30 snaps against Detroit a week ago. Although he might not be at full strength, Graham's owners in season-long leagues will probably struggle to find a better alternative in most cases. Graham is averaging a touchdown catch every 11.8 targets for his career, and he has averaged almost exactly nine targets per game going back to 2011.
Wed Oct 22 201417:24Jimmy Graham: (Shoulder) Limited Wednesday
Graham (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice, the Saints' official site reports.
The limited showing in drills is Graham's third in a row, but they're sandwiched about an active but catch-less performance in Week 7 at Detroit. As long as he ramps up his workload this week, his first contributions since Week 5 should arrive on fantasy doorsteps. While he's unlikely to approach his injury-free production from the first four weeks of the season -- he averaged eight catches (on 10.5 targets) for 85 yards per game, while tallying three touchdown grabs -- owners can likely expect a whisper of the preceding if his health makes the requisite progress this week.

Graham (shoulder) failed to record a catch on two targets during Sunday's loss to the Lions.
Graham's return from a shoulder injury Sunday was quite surprising, as he was expected to be sidelined for at least two to three games after the team's Week 6 bye. He took a pain-killing injection before the game and was expected to play around 30 snaps, a figure ESPN.com's Mike Triplett estimated he played. He was unable to do anything with his limited looks, though he made it through the game without injuring his shoulder any further. Up next is a home game against a Packers defense that is ranked in the top-five in fewest passing-yards allowed this season.

Graham (should) will get a pain-killing injection before Sunday's game against the Lions and will try to play around 30 snaps, Fox's Jay Glazer reported on their pregame show.
This falls in line with earlier reports about Graham's potential workload. Hence, don't look for him to be in there in running downs, but Graham should play in red zone situations and obvious passing downs where he doesn't have to block.
Sun Oct 19 201411:21Jimmy Graham: (Shoulder) Active Sunday
Graham (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game at Detroit.
Upon the sun rising Sunday morning, all signs pointed to Graham taking the field for the first time since Week 5, according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports. It was suggested by Albert Breer of NFL Network that he could reprise a red-zone only gig, as he handled last year against the Bills in Week 8, when he gathered in two touchdowns in merely 18 snaps. As a result, owners may want to take the chance that such a rich performance is in the cards.
Sun Oct 19 201408:02Jimmy Graham: (Shoulder) Expects to Play Sunday
Graham (shoulder) expects to play Sunday against the Lions, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Graham, who suffered a shoulder injury in Week 5 against the Bucs, was expected to miss at least two to three games after the Week 6 bye, but after logging limited practices Thursday and Friday this week, he will test out his shoulder before the game, with the expectation that he will play. However, he is not expected to start, and he'll will likely have his snaps limited, with Ben Watson and Josh Hill still likely to see an increase in playing time.
Fri Oct 17 201416:22Jimmy Graham: (Shoulder) Questionable Against Lions
Graham (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against Detroit after logging limited practices Thursday and Friday.
Coach Sean Payton expressed some optimism regarding Graham's status earlier this week, and two limited practices to close out the week give reason to take him somewhat seriously. Meanwhile, according to ESPN NFL Nation's Mike Triplett, Graham said that he did not know whether he'd play against the Lions, saying it could come down to a game-time evaluation made by New Orleans' coaches. If Graham ends up sitting, Ben Watson would likely be the lead replacement, though Josh Hill would also see snaps.
Thu Oct 16 201416:26Jimmy Graham: (Shoulder) Returns to Practice
Graham (shoulder) returned to practice Thursday on a limited basis, leaving open the possibility that he could play Sunday against Detroit, ESPN's Mike Triplett reports.
This would be a remarkably fast recovery after Graham was initially anticipated to miss two to three games following the Saints' Week 6 bye. His status for Sunday remains uncertain, but Graham owners now have reason for optimism.

Saints coach Sean Payton said Thursday that his is "still optimistic" about Graham (shoulder), ESPN's Mike Triplett reports.
We'll provide another update about Graham after the Saints release their Thursday injury report, but Payton's optimism is encouraging. As it stands now, however, Graham remains unlikely to play Sunday against the Lions.
Wed Oct 15 201418:13Jimmy Graham: (Shoulder) Doesn't Practice Wednesday
Graham (shoulder) didn't take part in Wednesday's practice, the Saints' official site reports.
Although he was absent from team drills, Graham fit in some individual work during the portion of practice open to the media, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports. In actuality, the fact that he fit in any activity Wednesday is impressive considering he's expected to sit out 2-to-3 weeks following the Saints' Week 6 bye. If the preceding comes to fruition, as expected, he'll likely be ruled out of Sunday's game at Detroit by the end of the week.
