Sun Nov 17 201318:45Leonard Hankerson has LCL injury
Leonard Hankerson sustained a possible LCL injury in Sunday's loss at Philadelphia.
Hankerson went down in the first quarter and never returned. LCL injuries are far less severe than ACL or PCL issues, but it's still a week-to-week situation. Aldrick Robinson saw a bump in snaps and produced a 2/60/1 line after Hankerson left Sunday.

Sun Nov 17 201315:04Leonard Hankerson goes down with knee injury
Leonard Hankerson left Sunday's Week 11 game at Philadelphia in the first quarter with a knee injury.
Hankerson was trying to escape the grasp of Connor Barwin and ended up going down awkwardly. The Redskins Z receiver has been deemed doubtful to return. With Josh Morgan a healthy scratch and Jordan Reed being evaluated for a concussion, the Redskins pass offense is running on fumes.

Fri Nov 15 201319:45Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) probable
Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) is probable for Week 11.
Hankerson played through his hamstring injury last Thursday and was a full participant in practice this week. He's currently averaging 3.2 catches for 41.1 yards per game and is nothing more than a WR5 in re-draft leagues.

Wed Nov 13 201318:19Hankerson practicing in full this week
Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) is practicing in full this week.
HankTime played through the injury last Thursday night and has had plenty of time to rest up. He's barely a WR5 who doesn't see a whole lot of targets.

Wed Nov 13 201309:24Leonard Hankerson lacking burst
Beat writer John Keim says Leonard Hankerson lacks burst and quickness.
"It's why he can get open, but it's why defenses don't fear him," Keim wrote. We've noticed other flaws in Hankerson's game, including some issues with drops. And as the "Z" receiver in the Shanahan & Son offense, he doesn't get a ton of opportunities. Don't expect a bump on Hankerson's current averages of 3.2 catches for 41.1 yards per game.

Fri Nov 8 201300:31HankTime has five-catch night in loss
Leonard Hankerson caught five passes for 61 yards in Washington's Week 10 loss to the Vikings.
Playing through a hamstring injury, Hankerson turned in his second five-catch performance in five days. He secured all five of his targets after going 5-of-6 in Week 9. HankTime still isn't getting nearly enough looks to merit every-week WR3 consideration, but will be an acceptable plug-and-play option for the fantasy season's stretch run.

Thu Nov 7 201319:02Leonard Hankerson active for Week 10
Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) is active for Week 10 against the Vikings.
HankTime's status wasn't in doubt after he earned a "probable" tag. He's Rotoworld's No. 52 receiver for Week 10.

Wed Nov 6 201313:07Hankerson (hamstring) probable for Week 10
Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) is listed as probable for Thursday night's game against the Vikings.
Hankerson practiced fully Tuesday and Wednesday after being limited on Monday. He'll start a Z receiver despite playing at less than 100 percent, but is not a recommended fantasy option for Week 10.

Tue Nov 5 201308:41Shanny confirms Hankerson will be fine
Coach Mike Shanahan confirmed that Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) "is gonna be fine."
Even with the Redskins playing on Thursday night football this week, the Redskins aren't worried about their Z receiver's status. Fantasy owners, however, should be able to do better. Pierre Garcon and Jordan Reed are target hogs in the Shanahan and Son scheme.

Mon Nov 4 201316:07Leonard Hankerson limited in practice
Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) was limited in Redskins practice Monday.
HankTime is likely to play in Thursday night's game against the Vikings, but probably won't be 100 percent. He would not be a strong WR3 dice roll.

Sun Nov 3 201318:10Leonard Hankerson gets five grabs in win
Leonard Hankerson caught five passes for 55 yards in Sunday's Week 9 overtime win over the Chargers.
Hankerson continues to play the possession, blocking complement at Z receiver. It's a role that doesn't have any upside in the Shanahan and Son offense. Hankerson is on pace for 48 catches, 618 yards and six touchdowns. It's a pace we'd expect him to maintain.

Sun Oct 27 201320:37HankTime catches touchdown in loss
Leonard Hankerson caught a seven-yard touchdown in Washington's Week 8 loss to the Broncos.
HankTime's second-quarter score was his only catch of the day, and one of just three targets. He was listed as questionable on the injury report with a foot issue, so it's possible he was limited. Either way, Hankerson can't be trusted as a WR5 for Week 9.

Fri Oct 25 201313:37Leonard Hankerson listed as questionable
Leonard Hankerson (foot) is listed as questionable for Week 8 against Denver.
We tentatively expect Hankerson to be active against the Broncos, but he's not worth the wait in a late game with an injury. HankTime is averaging just 5.5 targets per game this year. His backup at Z receiver is Josh Morgan.

Thu Oct 24 201318:20HankTime back at practice Thursday
Leonard Hankerson (foot) returned to Redskins practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.
HankTime expects to play against the Broncos. "I feel pretty good," Hankerson said Thursday. "I've just got to keep on doing treatment in there with the (trainers) and keep on getting it better." Even in a plus matchup, Hankerson is a stretch for WR5 value.

Wed Oct 23 201315:17Leonard Hankerson (foot) not practicing
Leonard Hankerson (foot) is not practicing Wednesday.
Hankerson suffered the foot injury in an off-field incident Tuesday. He'll likely be limited in practice this week, but it doesn't sound like it will keep him out of Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Sun Oct 20 201317:20Leonard Hankerson catches one pass
Leonard Hankerson caught one pass for 26 yards in Sunday's Week 7 win over the Bears.
Hankerson was atrocious. He saw five targets, but had one really bad drop and couldn't separate. On top of that, the Z spot in the Shanahan and Son offense historically yields little production. There are higher upside wideouts on waivers right now.

Mon Oct 14 201301:23Hankerson only has two catches on SNF
Leonard Hankerson caught two passes for 36 yards in Sunday night's Week 6 loss to Dallas.
Hankerson started and played in two-wide sets over Josh Morgan, but struggled to get separation on his routes and had a bad drop late in the fourth quarter. He's nothing more than a WR4 in fantasy leagues and will need to show more consistency before becoming a bigger part of the Redskins' offense.

Wed Oct 2 201311:49Leonard Hankerson impressing coaches
Coach Mike Shanahan said Leonard Hankerson is playing "really well."
Hankerson's usage is on the rise in a big way. He's started three straight games ahead of Josh Morgan at the Z spot, compiling 10 catches on 16 targets during that stretch. Hankerson has always separated with ease, but often failed to finish plays. Now showing more consistency, deep leaguers should put him on their radar. "When [Hankerson] gets the opportunity to set guys up one-on-one, he usually wins," Shanahan said.

Sun Sep 29 201319:47Hankerson goes for 49 yards in Week 4
Leonard Hankerson caught four passes for 49 yards in the Redskins' Week 4 win over the Raiders.
He was targeted seven times, playing ahead of Josh Morgan for the third straight week. Hankerson is big and runs savvy routes, but he's not an explosive player and lacks sure hands. He's a WR3/4 in fantasy leagues. The Redskins have a bye week coming up. Keep Hankerson rostered on your own whims.

Wed Sep 25 201309:46Leonard Hankerson sliding ahead of Morgan
Leonard Hankerson played on 54 snaps in Week 3, compared to 24 for Josh Morgan.
After alternating for much of the offseason and the preseason, Hankerson is finally starting to pull away. He's started in each of the past two weeks and the Week 3 snap count differential represents a season-high. It's enough to put Hankerson on watch lists, but the "Z" spot in the Skins offense is not typically a productive one. Over the last two weeks, Hankerson has totaled six catches for 56 yards and no touchdowns.
