Cobb caught 10-of-13 targets for 129 yards in Sunday's 53-20 win over the Eagles.
While Cobb had his six-game touchdown streak snapped, he posted a season high in all receiving categories. Amazingly, it was just the second game all season in which he didn't reach the end zone. He'll look to start another touchdown streak next week at Minnesota.

Cobb caught 4-of-6 targets for 72 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 55-14 win over the Bears.
Cobb appeared to be in danger of missing out on the fun, as three long second-quarter touchdowns from Jordy Nelson (twice) and Eddie Lacy helped the Packers to an early 35-0 lead. Cobb then made good on what seemed like it could be his final chance, making a diving catch for an 18-yard touchdown to put the Packers up 42-0 just 14 seconds before halftime. Cobb would actually get another two targets in the third quarter before the Packers pulled all their starters. One week after Davante Adams surprisingly led Green Bay in targets, Cobb matched Nelson and Lacy with a team-high six. With a favorable matchup waiting next week against the Eagles, both Cobb and Nelson are good bets to produce big games.

Cobb caught 5-of-7 targets for 126 yards and his ninth touchdown of the season in Sunday's 44-23 loss to the Saints.
Cobb actually had a pretty quiet night after hauling in a 70-yard touchdown on the Packers' first drive. Oddly enough, Eddie Lacy and Davante Adams were tied with a team-high nine targets apiece, while Cobb (seven) and Jordy Nelson (five) combined for just 12. We wouldn't read much into that, as Cobb and Nelson have far and away been Aaron Rodgers' favorite options this season. Cobb is actually averaging a modest 6.8 targets per game, but that's easily good for second on the Packers, and he has produced more than 10 yards per target while turning one out of every six into a touchdown. Though the latter is obviously unsustainable, Cobb could easily benefit from increased volume in the second half of the season, which would compensate for the inevitable touchdown regression.

Cobb had six catches for a game-high 121 receiving yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Panthers.
We keep waiting for Cobb's seemingly unsustainable touchdown pace to cool off, but it hasn't. He has seven scores in seven games, and with quarterback Aaron Rodgers playing near-perfect football, maybe Cobb's touchdown prowess will continue all season. The red-hot Packers seem poised for another good offensive output next week on the fast track Superdome turf against the struggling Saints.

Cobb had five catches for 58 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 win over Miami. He was targeted seven times.
Aside from his one big game against Chicago, Cobb's yardage totals have been fairly mediocre this year, but he remains one of Aaron Rodgers' favorite red-zone targets and now has seven touchdowns through six games.

Cobb caught 2-of-3 targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 42-10 win over the Vikings.
No Packer had more than three targets, as Aaron Rodgers attempted just 17 passes before being pulled at the end of the third quarter. Despite the unusual circumstances, Cobb managed to secure his sixth receiving touchdown of the season, breaking what had been a four-way tie at five for first place. Cobb's having an unusual season, with his touchdown production far beyond what was expected, even though he's only caught 23 passes through five games. The inevitable touchdown regression will likely be offset at least to some degree by more receptions and yards.

Cobb had seven catches on nine targets for a season-high 113 yards and two touchdowns Sunday against the Bears.
Cobb had struggled to rack up much yardage this season, with his previous season-high coming in Week 1 against the Seahawks when he had 58 yards, but he's still been a popular end zone target, as he's now increased his season touchdown-total to five after Sunday's performance. Cobb's success also didn't come at the expense of Jordy Nelson, who had 10 catches on 12 targets for 108 yards and two touchdowns of his own. It's clear that both can dominate in the same game and they'll look to keep it going in Week 5 against a Vikings defense that allowed 298 passing yards and three touchdowns to the Falcons in Week 4.

Cobb caught three passes for 29 yards in Sunday's loss to the Lions.
Cobb put up useful fantasy numbers over the season's first two weeks thanks to three trips to the end zone, but he provided almost nothing for fantasy owners in Week 3. He will look to get back on track in Week 4 against a Bears team that he beat for two touchdowns -- including a division-winning score -- in Week 17 last season.

Cobb made five catches (six targets) for 39 yards with a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's 31-24 win over the Jets.
Cobb was third on the team in receiving, but his two scores made up for it. On a negative note for fantasy owners, Jordy Nelson went off Sunday, catching nine passes on 16 targets for 209 yards. Given Green Bay's strong passing attack, it's not a concern though, as both Cobb and Nelson can coexist.

Cobb had six receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in Thursday's season opener against the Seahawks.
Cobb and Jordy Nelson didn't see much of Richard Sherman, as the Packers mostly sent Jarret Boykin out to the right side to occupy the superstar corner's area of the field. While able to avoid the toughest matchup, Cobb and Nelson still had to contend with an otherwise stellar secondary while Aaron Rodgers was bothered by the pass rush for much of the night. Cobb appears to have put a slow preseason behind him, and his toughest matchup is out of the way with a decent stat line to show for it. He's clearly one of the top two receiving options in what figures to be one of the league's most prolific offenses.
Thu Aug 21 201411:34Cobb still being considered for Packers' punt-return job
Cobb is still being considered for the Packers' punt-return job, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
The Packers would probably prefer to avoid using Cobb on punt returns so as not to expose him to unnecessary big hits, but it looks like it will be either him or Micah Hyde receiving punts come Week 1. What is not in doubt: Cobb is locked into the starting wide receiver spot opposite Jordy Nelson.
Wed Jun 25 201415:36Randall Cobb could lead league in catches
Vic Ketchman of the Packers' official website believes Randall Cobb could lead the league in receptions this season.
Pierre Garcon led the league with his 113 grabs last season, and five players had 100-plus catches. Cobb's career-high to this point is 80 catches in 2012. Cobb reeled in 25 passes on 34 targets in his first four games before breaking his leg last season, which extrapolates to 100 catches on 136 targets across a 16-game schedule. 13 receivers saw more than 136 targets in 2013. Cobb is certainly capable of leading the league in grabs, as he's going to be used even more with James Jones out of the picture. Cobb is a lower-end WR1.

Tue Jun 3 201417:09Randall Cobb dodges contract questions
Randall Cobb sidestepped questions about his contract after Tuesday's OTAs session.
Cobb is going into the final year of his rookie contract. "I'm not a businessman, so I don't really know that side of that, that's what I have an agent for," Cobb said. "That's for the Packers to decide and to figure out." Cobb's injury history could work one of two ways in talks. Either he decides to bet on himself and play out his deal, or makes the safe decision and re-ups before Week 1.

Sat May 24 201412:02A 'surprise' if Cobb or Jordy are not reupped
ESPN Packers' reporter Rob Demovsky believe "it would be a surprise" if the Packers chose not to sign at least one of Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson to an extension before the season began.
Both Cobb and Nelson are out of contract next March. Demovsky sees Cobb as a "must re-sign" because of his youth, but believes it is not as cut and dry with Nelson, who will be 29 when this season begins. Both are exceptional wideouts, and it would be in the Packers' best interest to lock each up with a long-term deal.

Wed Mar 19 201412:42Packers want to take Cobb off special teams
The Packers want to take Randall Cobb out of the return job.
It's excellent news for Cobb's fantasy prospects. His attention will be fully devoted to the passing game, where the slot man is a very legit threat for 100 catches. He also won't be risking injury during high-impact returns. Cobb has been one of the game's best return men over the last three season, averaging 26.2 yards per kickoff return and 10.2 per punt.

Thu Jan 9 201422:12Pack hoping to use Cobb more outside in '14
Packers WRs coach Edgar Bennett expects Randall Cobb to see more time outside in 2013.
According to Pro Football Focus, 94.7 percent of Cobb's 2013 routes were run out of the slot. "(Cobb is a) tough-minded individual, mentally as well as physically, I think he can go outside," Bennett said. "But obviously, he's a difference-maker in slot. Wherever you put him, he can be a difference. He can continue to be an impact player." Wherever Cobb is running in 2014, he'll be a WR2 with WR1 upside.

Sun Jan 5 201419:56Cobb limited on offense, goes for 51 yards
Randall Cobb's two receptions went for 51 yards in the Packers' Wild Card loss to San Francisco.
The Packers used Cobb on returns, but he was mixed in sparingly on offense as Green Bay's primary three-wide package had Jarrett Boykin and James Jones lined up outside with Jordy Nelson at slot receiver. Still just two games removed from returning from a broken leg, Cobb was ostensibly deemed not ready for full-time duties by club Dr. Pat McKenzie. Cobb still made his presence felt on a broken fourth-down play where Aaron Rodgers busted out of a sack and found Cobb down the right sideline for 26. Cobb gained 25 more yards on a fourth-quarter catch down the left side, beating 49ers FS Eric Reid. Only 23 years old, Cobb has a chance to be a value pick in 2014 fantasy drafts after an injury-decimated 2013 campaign. He'll be in the hunt for 100 catches next season.

Thu Jan 2 201413:50Randall Cobb absent from injury report
Randall Cobb is absent from the Wild Card round injury report.
It's a sign the Packers are ready to unleash Cobb after he caught two touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Bears. He'll be a fine option in daily leagues.
