Rodgers tallied 37 total yards in Sunday's loss to the Vikings.
Rodgers did most of his work catching the ball out of the backfield, racking up 35 of his 37 total yards through the air. Even though he's proving moderately effective as a pass catcher, he only received one carry on the day, which will continue to limit his upside.

Rodgers tallied 23 yards on five carries in Sunday's loss to the Bengals.
Not including three scrambles by Matt Ryan, the Falcons only called 16 run plays compared to 44 pass plays. Last year the Falcons were the only team above a 2:1 pass-run ratio, and Sunday's numbers show that they are still a pass first team. That said, both Rodgers and Steven Jackson averaged over four yards a carry in limited work. They should have a bigger impact against the Buccaneers on a short week.

Rodgers had six carries for 34 yards with a touchdown and caught one pass for one yard in Sunday's overtime win against New Orleans.
Rodgers had a nice 17-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter that temporarily gave Atlanta the lead. Surprisingly, he wasn't a factor in the passing game, as Antone Smith scored on a 54-yard touchdown catch, while rookie Devonta Freeman grabbed two passes for 18 yards. Meanwhile, starter Steven Jackson (hamstring) looked solid, rushing for 52 yards on 12 carries. It appears as though Atlanta's top four running backs will all contribute, making the entire group a risky play, other than Jackson, who is likely to see the most volume.

Rodgers had two yards on two carries in Thursday's preseason finale against the Jaguars.
Once again starting in place of Steven Jackson (hamstring), Rodgers only played a few snaps before giving way to Antone Smith and Devonta Freeman. While still likely to enter Week 1 as Jackson's top backup, Rodgers has plenty of competition for touches, and would likely split the workload in the event of a serious injury to Jackson, who appears to be on track for Week 1.

Rodgers had 33 yards on eight carries and 31 yards on five receptions in Saturday's preseason game against the Titans.
Once again starting in place of Steven Jackson (hamstring), Rodgers dominated the first-half touches, despite ceding first-team snaps to both Antone Smith and Devonta Freeman. While still the clear favorite to open the season as Jackson's top backup, Rodgers may have Freeman breathing down his neck. The Falcons expect Jackson to be ready for Week 1, but the 31-year-old veteran has a history of hamstring injuries, and isn't a good bet to play 16 games.

Rodgers gained 13 yards on three carries in Saturday's preseason game against the Texans.
Rodgers started in place of Steven Jackson (hamstring) for a second straight week, while Antone Smith filled in with the starters, and Devonta Freeman didn't register a touch until the final three minutes of the first half. Though he's fourth on the depth chart, Freeman could emerge as a threat to Rodgers' touches this season. If Jackson's injury unexpectedly lingers into the regular season, Rodgers will likely split the workload with Smith and/or Freeman, the latter of whom has been the most impressive of the bunch this preseason.

Starting in place of Steven Jackson (hamstring), Rodgers had 20 yards and a touchdown on seven carries in Friday's preseason opener against the Dolphins.
Rookie fourth-rounder Devonta Freeman is thought to be the biggest threat to Rodgers' workload this season, but it was Antone Smith who spelled Jacquizz with the first-team offense. While the Falcons are optimistic that Steven Jackson (hamstring) will be ready for Week 1, the 31-year-old veteran has a history of similar injuries. If Jackson doesn't make it back in time for the start of the season, Rodgers will likely be used in tandem with Smith and/or Freeman. The biggest concern for prospective Rodgers owners is still that Freeman could eat into the veteran's third-down workload.

Fri Dec 27 201313:51Jacquizz Rodgers ruled out for Week 17
Jacquizz Rodgers (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 17.
Jason Snelling and Antone Smith will share backup duties behind Steven Jackson against the Panthers. Rodgers' third NFL season ends with 673 total yards and four all-purpose touchdowns. Although Rodgers is a largely effective change-of-pace back, the Falcons do not internally view him as a future feature runner, severely capping his long-range fantasy ceiling. He's also yet to clear 4.0 YPC in any of his three years as a professional.

Jacquizz Rodgers exited Monday night's game against the 49ers and is being evaluated for a concussion.
Rodgers caught a fourth-quarter screen pass and took a helmet-to-helmet hit from Aldon Smith. It wasn't a vicious blow, but it was enough to send Rodgers to the locker room. Jason Snelling and Antone Smith are Steven Jackson's backups.

Change-of-pace back Rodgers had a few more touches than usual because Antone Smith departed with a knee injury. Quizz is a Steven Jackson handcuff only as it pertains to fantasy football Weeks 15 and 16.

Fri Nov 22 201300:31Jacquizz Rodgers totals 38 yards in loss
Jacquizz Rodgers rushed three times for seven yards in Atlanta's Week 12 loss to the Saints, adding two catches for 31 yards.
Rodgers was a pure change-of-pace option, getting out-touched 19-5 by Steven Jackson. He also ceded some passing downs to Jason Snelling, further diluting he's already faded FLEX value. If you're still trotting 'Quizz out in a 14-team league, it's long past time to move on.

Tue Nov 19 201316:03Jacquizz Rodgers still limited on Tuesday
Jacquizz Rodgers (ankle) remained limited in Tuesday's practice.
Rodgers' injury isn't believed to be more than a minor tweak, so he should be active for Thursday's game against the Saints. His status will be updated on Wednesday. Averaging just 7.5 touches for 41 yards from scrimmage over his past four games, Rodgers is little more than a desperation FLEX option.

Jacquizz Rodgers (ankle) was limited in Monday's practice.
We didn't notice Rodgers suffer any injuries on Sunday, but he did sit and watch Antone Smith and the backup offense for much of the fourth quarter with the Falcons getting blown out. Rodgers should be fine, but he could lose reps to Smith.

Sun Nov 17 201317:24Jacquizz Rodgers gets 7 touches in Week 11
Jacquizz Rodgers rushed six times for 22 yards and caught an eight-yard pass in the Falcons' Week 11 loss to Tampa Bay.
Rodgers got seven touches, and then took a seat to watch third-string RB Antone Smith break off gains of 50 and 33 in garbage time. (Jason Snelling was inactive.) Rodgers is playing a similar snap count to Steven Jackson, but isn't being featured in terms of touches. He's just a handcuff in fantasy leagues.
