Tue Sep 21 201020:38Calvin Pace resumes running
Jets OLB Calvin Pace (foot) didn't resume running outside until Monday.
Pace won't play against the Dolphins, but is targeting a Week 4 return. "Calvin's doing great," coach Rex Ryan said. "He's way ahead of where most people are at this time." Added Pace, "Ultimately I would love to play but I don't want to be that guy to force a comeback and get injured worse."

Mon Sep 20 201015:46Calvin Pace unlikely to return for Week 3
Jets OLB Calvin Pace (foot) admitted Monday that he's not likely to play in Week 3 against the Dolphins.
"Don't bet the farm on it," Pace told Manish Mehta of the NY Daily News. Jason Taylor avoided a serious injury with his left elbow Sunday, and has filled the full time role well with a sack, 10 tackles, and a forced fumble through two games. The Jets aren't going to rush back Pace if they can help it.

Wed Sep 15 201012:50Jets hope Calvin Pace will return Week 3
The Jets are "holding out hope" that OLB Calvin Pace (fractured foot) will be available in Week 3.
Pace won't play in Week 2, and Week 3 would be an impressive recovery. His initial timeline was 4-6 weeks. This is his third week out. Bryan Thomas and Jason Taylor stepped up in the Jets' opener, playing impressive run defense.

Tue Sep 7 201014:56Pace ahead of schedule in recovery
Jets coach Rex Ryan said that OLB Calvin Pace is "way ahead" of schedule in his recovery from foot surgery.
Ryan wouldn't comment on possibly having Pace available by Week 2. The original timetable had him likely missing the first three games of the season, so getting him back by the second game would be a quick recovery indeed.

Tue Aug 31 201014:46Calvin Pace undergoes successful surgery
Jets OLB Calvin Pace has undergone surgery on his broken right foot.
Coach Rex Ryan has ruled Pace out of the season opener but wouldn't speculate beyond that. It's expected to be a 4-6 week recovery, so don't count on the pass rusher suiting up before October.

Fri Aug 27 201022:34Jets lose pass rusher Pace for 'couple weeks'
Jets coach Rex Ryan revealed following Friday's preseason loss that OLB Calvin Pace will miss "a couple weeks" with a foot injury.
It sounds like a sprain, which can be a tricky injury -- especially if it's to the middle of Pace's foot. The Jets' top pass rusher, Pace will be in a race to get back for the regular season opener. Jason Taylor may be forced into full-time duty opposite Bryan Thomas, which won't help the club's run defense.
