Hilton is among the Colts not slated to play in Sunday's preseason game against the Eagles, Kevin Bowen of the team's official site reports.
The same applies to Donte Moncrief, Darius Butler, Vontae Davis and Vick Ballard, with the absence of Hilton and Moncrief setting the stage for rookie wideout Phillip Dorsett to see added reps in the Colts' preseason opener. Per Stephen Holder of the Indy Star, Hilton was excused from Friday's practice for personal reasons.
Thu Aug 13 201508:09T.Y. Hilton: Five-Year, $65 Million Extension
Hilton and the Colts agreed to a five-year, $65 million extension Thursday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Hilton will get $39 million guaranteed in the deal, which keeps him under contract though the 2020 season. After catching 82 passes for 1,345 yards and seven touchdowns last year, the Colts understandably made it a priority to keep Hilton as Andrew Luck's top target. The first-round selection of Phillip Dorsett -- a player with a similar skill set -- gave the impression that the Colts might have been preparing for life without Hilton after 2015, but now the Colts will truly head forward with a Hilton-Dorsett-Donte Moncrief foundation at receiver, with the aging veteran free-agent signing Andre Johnson serving as the likely second wideout for at least 2015. So long as he's the clear No. 1 wideout in an Andrew Luck offense, Hilton will likely be one of the top fantasy wideouts in football, even if his lack of size (5-foot-9, 178 pounds) limits his ability to provide touchdown production.

Hilton was excused from Friday's practice due to personal reasons.
Hilton's absence from training camp Friday shouldn't be a concern, as he's expected to return to the team once his personal matters are properly attended to.

Hilton caught one pass for 36 yards in Sunday's 45-7 loss to the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.
Hilton finished up the 2014 regular season with 82 catches on 131 targets for 1,345 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games. The wideout's fantasy prospects look bright as the 2015 campaign approaches, with Hilton on track to remain rising QB Andrew Luck's favorite target in the passing game.

Hilton caught 4-of-8 targets for 72 yards in Sunday's 24-13 win over the Broncos.
Andrew Luck attempted 43 passes, but with the Colts facing an excellent group of cornerbacks, six players drew four or more targets. Hilton tied Daniel Herron and Donte Moncrief for the team lead in targets, while Hakeem Nicks and Dwayne Allen got the receiving touchdowns. Hilton will likely see a lot of New England's Darrelle Revis next week, and while Revis is coming off a disappointing performance, it should still be considered a difficult matchup. As the leading receiver in a pass-heavy offense, Hilton will likely still get his share of targets.

Hilton caught six passes for 103 yards (on 14 targets) in Sunday's 26-10 wild card win over the Bengals.
Hilton did have several drops in the game, but he remains Andrew Luck's top pass-catching option as next Sunday's road game against the Broncos approaches.

Hilton (hamstring) failed to catch any of the three passes thrown his way during Sunday's win over the Titans.
The Colts came into the game having already qualified for the playoffs, and with their seed unable to improve, they gave Hilton a few snaps and not much else in order to keep him healthy for the postseason. He finishes the regular season with 82 catches on 131 targets for 1,345 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games.

Hilton (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Hilton is in uniform Sunday, but it's unclear how much action he (along with some of the Colts' other key players) will be in line to see in the contest, given that the team doesn't have much to play for in Week 17 in terms of playoff positioning.

Hilton (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official site reports.
We'll confirm Hilton's Week 17 status -- one way or the other -- as Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff approaches, though if the wideout is made active this weekend, it's unclear how much action he (along with some of the Colts' other key players) would be in line to see in the contest given that the team doesn't have much to play for in Week 17 with regard to playoff seeding.
Wed Dec 24 201412:37Hilton (hamstring) practiced again on Wednesday
Hilton (hamstring) practiced again on Wednesday, Tom James of the Tribune-Star reports.
Hilton is trending toward being available Sunday against the Titans, though in such a scenario it's unclear how much action he (along with some of the Colts' other key players) would be in line to see in the game, given that the team doesn't have a lot to play for in Week 17 in terms of playoff seeding. The Colts are coming off a 42-7 loss to the Cowboys, and per ESPN.com, coach Chuck Pagano is not inclined to rest his healthy starters out of the gate, but it's unclear how deep into the game the likes of Hilton would be in line to go in the team's regular season finale.
Tue Dec 23 201413:08T.Y. Hilton: (Hamstring) Back At Practice
Hilton (hamstring) returned to practice Tuesday, NFL.com reports.
Hilton missed the Colts' loss to Dallas on Sunday due to a hamstring injury. While he's expected back Sunday agains the Titans, it's unclear how heavy of a workload he'll receive, as Indianapolis is locked into the fourth seed in the AFC. That said, coach Chuck Pagano indicated that he will play his starters in Week 17, but for how long remains to be seen.

Coach Chuck Pagano indicated Monday that he expects Hilton (hamstring) to return to action Sunday against the Titans, Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star reports.
We'll track Hilton's status in the coming days, but assuming no setbacks with his hamstring, it looks like the Colts' top wideout is on track to be available this weekend. We'll let you know if that assessment changes as Sunday's contest approaches.
Sun Dec 21 201415:11Hilton (hamstring) inactive for Sunday's game against Cowboys
Hilton (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Kevin Bowen of Colts.com reports.
With Hilton out Sunday, Donte Moncrief is a candidate to see added looks in the Colts' Week 16 offense, while working with fellow wideouts Hakeem Nicks and Reggie Wayne.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Hilton (hamstring) will try to play Sunday against the Cowboys, though the report suggests that such an outcome appears to be a long-shot.
As Sunday's game approaches, Hilton's status remains cloudy, a tricky situation for fantasy owners, given the Colts' 4:25 ET kickoff. In the event that Hilton sits Sunday, or is limited, Donte Moncrief would be a candidate to see added looks in the team's Week 16 offense.
Sat Dec 20 201418:51Hilton (hamstring) traveled with Colts to Dallas
Hilton (hamstring) traveled with the Colts to Dallas, Indianapolis Star writer Stephen Holder reports.
Hilton's presence on the team flight doesn't mean he'll play against Dallas, but for him to be absent from the flight would be to rule him out from Sunday's game. In other words, this news merely means that Hilton hasn't been counted out. Unfortunately for Hilton's fantasy owners, clarification on his Sunday status might not be available far in advance of the game's 4:25 eastern time kickoff. Hilton's owners would ideally have Donte Moncrief or Hakeem Nicks within reach in case Hilton sits.

Hilton (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star reports.
After not practicing this week, Hilton's chances of playing Sunday appear murky, but coach Chuck Pagano isn't counting out the wideout just yet, noting Friday with regard to Hilton that "this guy is pretty special." If Hilton ends up sitting out Sunday's game -- a 4:25 ET kickoff -- the likes of Donte Moncrief and Hakeem Nicks would figure to be in line for added looks in the Colts' Week 16 offense.

Hilton (hamstring) was not spotted during the media access portion of Friday's practice, the Indianapolis Star's Zak Keefer reports.
If Hilton doesn't practice at all Friday, it would mark three straight days of missed practice, usually a near-certain indicator that a player will not play Sunday. We should know more when the Colts release their official injury designations, but things aren't looking good.
Thu Dec 18 201412:50Hilton (hamstring) not spotted at practice on Thursday
Hilton (hamstring) was not spotted at practice on Thursday, Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star reports.
We'll revisit the wideout's status Friday, though with an AFC South title clinched, there's a chance that the Colts could considering erring on the side of caution with Hilton this weekend if there are any concerns regarding his hamstring in advance of Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Wed Dec 17 201412:36Hilton (hamstring) not spotted at practice Wednesday
Hilton (hamstring) was not spotted at practice Wednesday, Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star reports.
The report suggests that Hilton -- who suffered a hamstring injury this past Sunday -- is targeting a return to practice Thursday, with the wideout's status thus worth tracking closely in advance of Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Mon Dec 15 201416:12T.Y. Hilton: Hopes To Practice Wednesday
The MRI for Hilton's injured hamstring was negative, and he should be able to practice later in the week, Colts.com's Kevin Bowen reports.
The team hopes Hilton will be able to return to practice on either Wednesday or Thursday, and with that in mind, his chances of taking the field Sunday in Dallas look pretty good. Monitor his status throughout the week, but early indications are that Andrew Luck will have his go-to receiver for the Week 16 showdown.
