Lacy carried the ball four times for two yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Eagles.
Lacy played through most of the first quarter, but with the majority of the offensive starters either hurt or resting on the sidelines for precautionary reasons, the bruising back wasn't able to muster together many yards. The poor preseason tune-up shouldn't deter fantasy owners however --- Lacy figures to be a bigger part of the offense early in the season as the Packers try to replace Jordy Nelson after he was lost for the season with an ACL injury.

Lacy carried five times for 36 yards in Thursday's preseason opener against the Patriots.
The bruising Lacy, who racked up 1,139 yards on 246 carries last season to go along with nine rushing TDs, as well as 42 catches for 427 yards and four receiving scores, is set to reprise his fantasy-friendly role as the Packers' lead back this season, with James Starks in line to serve as his top backup.

Lacy (knee) rushed for 73 yards on 21 carries in Sunday's loss to Seattle.
Lacy had a productive day, considering the opponent, but he was never able to break any game-changing runs, and his longest scamper went for only 13 yards. His knee injury did not appear to be much of a factor, and backup James Starks logged just five carries, one of which went for a 32-yard gain. Barring an injury or unforeseen roster move, Lacy will return as the Packers' No. 1 running back next season.

Lacy (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Seahawks, the Packers' official site reports.
As expected, Lacy will take aim at Seattle's stout run D on Sunday, with James Starks on hand to spell him if either Lacy's knee or asthma issue flares up as the game progresses.
Fri Jan 16 201512:55Lacy (knee) probable for Sunday's game against Seattle
Lacy (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against Seattle.
Playing Seattle on the road is the worst possible matchup for any offense, but Lacy's knee is evidently a non-issue, at least. It's worth noting that, while he totaled just 34 yards on 12 carries and 11 yards on three catches at Seattle in Week 1 of the regular season, Lacy looked like a different player from October onward, totaling 1,467 yards and 12 touchdowns from scrimmage in his 13 games from that point. The Packers might need a valiant effort from Lacy to pull off the upset Sunday.

Lacy has been added to the Packers' injury report after being limited in practice on Thursday due to a knee issue, the team's official site reports.
Coach Mike McCarthy relayed that Lacy was pulled from practice Thursday because the running back's knee was sore, but the move appears to have been precautionary in nature, with McCarthy adding that he thinks Lacy "will be ready to go on Sunday" against the Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game.

Lacy missed a portion of the second quarter due to an asthma attack in Sunday's win over the Cowboys, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
This explains why James Starks took so many snaps in the first half, as it was widely expected that Lacy's snap count would increase during the playoffs. The Packers did a good job of limiting the second-year running back's workload during the season, but it now makes sense to have him on the field for nearly every play. While there's always some risk that he'll miss a bit of time because of his asthma, Lacy figures to dominate the running-back touches in the NFC Championship Game against Seattle. The matchup is obviously brutal, but Lacy and the Green Bay offensive line are a powerful force in their own right. And, the Seahawks are pretty thin at defensive tackle, while the Packers count the interior offensive line among their greatest strengths.

Lacy ran 19 times for 101 yards in Sunday's 26-21 playoff win over the Cowboys.
Lacy, who also caught a pass for 10 yards on Sunday, figures to remain busy next weekend in the NFC Championship Game against Seattle, with star QB Aaron Rodgers likely to still be dealing with a calf issue at that time, and a balanced attack likely on tap for Green Bay.

Lacy had 26 carries for 100 yards and caught 3-of-4 targets for 26 yards in Sunday's win over the Lions.
Lacy looked awesome on Green Bay's opening possession, although he ultimately got stuffed on a fourth down carry near the goal line. It was still an impressive performance from Lacy, as he had to deal with a very strong rush defense. For those playing in postseason leagues, Lacy will either face the Cowboys or the winner of the Cardinals-Panthers wild-card game in two weeks.
Sun Dec 21 201416:03Lacy had 17 carries for 99 rushing yards and touchdown
Lacy had 17 carries for 99 rushing yards and a touchdown, as well as one catch on one target for five receiving yards Sunday against the Buccaneers, though he missed most of the fourth quarter because of cramps, ESPN.com reports.
Lacy eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the second consecutive season, and he now has nine touchdowns in his last seven games. The Packers clinched a playoff spot with the win, but they are still playing for a first-round bye, which means Lacy should be on the field in Week 17 against the Lions, who are competing with the Packers for the NFC North title.

Lacy is experiencing minor cramping and is probable to return to Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports.
Lacy was seen getting his calf massaged on the sidelines, but the cramping isn't expected to be overly serious. He'll continue to receive treatment, but it would be surprising if his day is already done. In the meantime, John Kuhn has been seeing extra carries for the Packers.
Sun Dec 21 201411:35Lacy (eye) active for Sunday's matchup against Buccaneers
Lacy (eye) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Buccaneers.
Lacy practiced in a limited fashion all week, but as expected, the issues with his contact lenses will not prevent him from taking the field Sunday. The 24-year-old back has averaged 4.9 yards per carry over his last five games, and although the Tampa Bay defense allows just 3.9 yards per rush to opposing backs, it's a solid matchup for fantasy owners.
Fri Dec 19 201414:23Eddie Lacy: (Eye) Probable for Sunday
Lacy (eye) is probable for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Green Bay Press-Gazette writer Wes Hodkiewicz reports.
Lacy's had some trouble with his contact lenses lately, but it's not a substantial concern. He's ready to go for Sunday's profitable matchup with the Buccaneers.
Thu Dec 18 201415:40Eddie Lacy: (Eye) Remains Limited Thursday
Lacy was limited in practice Thursday, Paul Imig of FOX Sports Wisconsin reports. Afterward, Lacy told Mike Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that his eye concern is related to irritation from a contact lens.
Now that his eye issue is common knowledge, Lacy further stated that he doesn't intend to wear goggles Sunday at Tampa Bay but will instead power through it using a contact. While he clearly intends to play in Week 16, the final injury report of the week should clear up his availability.
Wed Dec 17 201414:43Eddie Lacy: (Eye) Limited Wednesday
Lacy (eye) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Coach Mike McCarthy said afterward that Lacy's eye concern isn't "game-related," implying that his availability for Week 16 isn't in peril. However, Lacy's status should be watched closely as the week draws to a close.

Lacy (hip) had 15 carries for 97 rushing yards and a touchdown, as well as two catches on two targets for 11 receiving yards during Sunday's loss at Buffalo.
Lacy has now scored in five of his last six games, while reaching at least 100 total yards in seven consecutive outings. He continues to be a vital piece of the Packers' offense and he'll look to keep his good play going in Week 16 against Tampa Bay.
Sun Dec 14 201411:39Lacy (hip) active for Sunday's matchup against Bills
Lacy (hip) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Bills, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports.
Lacy was a limited participant in practice all week, but he'll suit up as expected following a "probable" designation. There remains a risk he'll be used in a limited fashion, however, as coach Mike McCarthy seems comfortable with the idea of using James Starks frequently if Lacy isn't 100 percent. Lacy should be the lead horse until further notice, but both backs face a tough matchup against a top-ten Buffalo run defense that allows 3.9 yards per carry to opposing backs, and 99.2 yards on the ground per game.
Fri Dec 12 201413:21Eddie Lacy: (Hip) Probable for Sunday
Lacy (hip) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Bills, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports.
"He's getting better," coach Mike McCarthy said after Friday's practice. "He did all the strength and conditioning work." Lacy sounds like he will be fine for Sunday, but McCarthy also reaffirmed that he is comfortable giving plenty of work to James Starks, so perhaps we'll see Starks get a bigger slice of the pie than usual if Lacy's hip is hobbling him.
Thu Dec 11 201415:24Eddie Lacy: (Hip) Limited Thursday
Lacy (hip) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Afterward, coach Mike McCarthy told Paul Imig of FOX Sports Wisconsin that "Eddie Lacy participated in the drill work and went through the teaching periods...He's making progress."
During the brief part of practice open to the media, Lacy was seen on the side without helmet, but there was the potential that he participated in the morning walkthrough. His duties didn't fall solely in the meeting room, though, as he was able to take part in at least some individual drills. Questions still abound with regard to his Week 15 availability, which could receive clarification upon the release of Friday's injury report. If Lacy is at all limited Sunday at Buffalo, James Starks would be the logical option to handle more work out of the Packers' backfield.
Thu Dec 11 201414:13Eddie Lacy: (Hip) Little to No Activity Thursday
Lacy (hip) was present during the portion of Thursday's practice open to the media, but he fit in little to no activity, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Although he took in individual drills from the sideline, Lacy may have participated in the morning walkthrough prior to practice. However, until the Packers release their version of Thursday's injury report, his activity level will remain unknown. If he in fact sat out for a second day in a row, though, his hip issue may be more severe than initially let on by coach Mike McCarthy, who said Tuesday that he wasn't "overly concerned" about the injury.
