Williams caught just one pass for two yards in Saturday's preseason game.
He's had a quiet, uneventful preseason, but heading into his second NFL campaign big things are still expected from Williams as the Cowboys' number two wide receiver.

Williams caught both of his targets for 19 yards in Thursday's preseason opener against the Chargers.
After a promising rookie season, Williams doesn't appear to have any competition for the No. 2 wide receiver role. The offense will likely focus on Dez Bryant, DeMarco Murry and Jason Witten, but Williams was an excellent big-play threat last season, recording 44 catches for 736 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games, despite getting just 74 targets.

Wed Mar 12 201411:30Terrance Williams now locked in as starter
Terrance Williams is locked in as a starter following the release of Miles Austin.
Per the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys were pleased with Williams' production and development last season. He posted a 44-736-5 line despite playing on just 700-of-1025 (68.2 percent) of the snaps. With Dez Bryant and Jason Witten hogging attention from defenses in Scott Linehan's pass-happy scheme, Williams is going to be a no-brainer breakout candidate.

Tue Feb 4 201415:29Terrance Williams expected to start in 2014
ESPN Dallas believes it's "time" for Terrance Williams to take over as the Cowboys' clear-cut No. 2 receiver opposite Dez Bryant.
Miles Austin and his $5.5 million salary are going to be released, leaving Williams locked into a starting role. Cole Beasley and Dwayne Harris could battle for No. 3 duties, or the Cowboys may look to add a cheap veteran or a late-round pick to the mix. Either way, Williams will be worthy of a late-round fantasy flier as Tony Romo's No. 3 option in new "OC" Scott Linehan's pass-happy attack.

Terrance Williams caught one pass for 39 yards in Sunday night's Week 17 loss to the Eagles.
He was targeted only two times in the passing game. Williams rotated with Miles Austin in two-wide sets and made an impressive 39-yard catch against tight coverage in the second quarter. He ends his rookie campaign with 44 receptions, 736 yards, and five touchdowns. With Austin widely expected to be released in the offseason, Williams is going to return as the Cowboys' clear-cut No. 2 receiver in 2014.

Sun Dec 22 201317:36Terrance Williams makes big plays late
Terrance Williams caught four passes for 84 yards in Sunday's Week 16 win at Washington.
Williams barely practiced all week due to a sore hamstring. But with the lights on in a must-win game for the Cowboys, the rookie stepped up huge. During the desperation comeback, he made a sick toe-tapping catch on the sideline to extend a drive and broke open deep for a 51-yard gain that set up the game-winning score. Williams continues to outplay Miles Austin (one catch, eight yards) on a weekly basis.

Fri Dec 20 201315:41Terrance Williams listed as questionable
Terrance Williams (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 16 at Washington after Friday's "limited" practice.
Williams wound up doing very little during the practice week, missing Wednesday and Thursday's sessions before Friday's limited workout. He has not been a fantasy factor since Miles Austin returned "healthy" over a month ago.

Fri Dec 20 201311:47Terrance Williams back at practice Friday
Terrance Williams (hamstring) returned to practice Friday.
Williams missed the first two days of practice this week. His return gives him a decent shot at suiting up against the Redskins, but he isn't a fantasy option.

Thu Dec 19 201319:43Report: Terrance Williams might play Sunday
According to DallasCowboys.com's Bryan Broaddus, Terrance Williams (hamstring) might practice on Friday, and "could" play against the Redskins.
Williams was expected to miss Sunday's game after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday's practices, but Broaddus reports his injury is "more contusion on hamstring than hamstring pull." Williams hasn't been making a major box-score impact of late, but the Cowboys need all hands on deck as they attempt to salvage their NFC East hopes. Williams won't be a fantasy option if he suits up. His status will be updated on Friday.

Thu Dec 19 201316:08Terrance Williams not practicing Thursday
Terrance Williams (hamstring) remained out of Cowboys practice Thursday.
The inconsistent rookie isn't expected to be active for Week 16, making him safely droppable in re-draft leagues. Williams will have some WR3 appeal in 2014.

Wed Dec 18 201312:18Terrance Williams (hamstring) likely out Sun.
Terrance Williams (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday and is not expected to play in Sunday's game against the Redskins.
Williams is limping badly enough that the media covering the Cowboys is already essentially ruling him out. It would thrust Miles Austin into an every-down role in an excellent matchup, but he's playing so poorly that we'd have a hard time getting excited. Austin has six catches for 89 yards with no touchdowns in four games since coming back from his latest hamstring pull.

Tue Dec 10 201300:39Terrance Williams leads way with 36 yards
Terrance Williams caught two passes for 36 yards in Week 14 at Chicago.
Williams saw three targets. His 36 yards actually led the team on a night where Tony Romo passed for just 104 yards. Williams and Miles Austin are cancelling each other out, even though Williams is clearly more talented. Neither player can be trusted as a fantasy starter for the playoffs.

Thu Nov 28 201320:58Terrance Williams held to 23 yards in Wk 13
Terrance Williams caught three balls for 23 yards in the Cowboys' Week 13 win over the Raiders.
Williams earned bonehead of the game for losing the opening kickoff, which Raiders practice squadder Greg Jenkins returned for an easy touchdown. The Cowboys overcame the miscue, however, and Williams continues to outplay "starter" Miles Austin, who is nothing short of worthless out there. Williams will still lack fantasy start-ability until a depth chart change is announced.

Sun Nov 24 201320:19Terrance Williams held to one catch, 10 yards
Terrance Williams caught one pass for ten yards in Dallas' Week 12 win over the Giants.
Williams played clearly behind Dez Bryant and Miles Austin, rotating in and out of three-wide sets with Cole Beasley. Until his role expands back at least into a clear-cut third receiver, Williams won't be worth starting in fantasy leagues. He's a WR4/5 at the moment. Dallas hosts Oakland next.

Mon Nov 11 201301:25Terrance Williams picks up sixth touchdown
Terrance Williams caught a 21-yard touchdown in Sunday night's Week 10 loss to the Saints.
It was his only catch of the night. Williams was a non-factor in the first half, but managed to score on a double move late in the third quarter. He was targeted five times in the passing game and now has caught at least one touchdown in five of his last six games. Williams will remain a WR3 when the Cowboys come out of their bye in Week 11.

Sun Nov 3 201317:48Terrance Williams held to two catches in win
Terrance Williams caught just two passes for 33 yards in Week 9 versus Minnesota.
Williams saw seven targets on the day, but the Vikings did a surprisingly good job covering both he and Dez Bryant on the outside. Williams was the target on Tony Romo's late-game interception. A.J. Jefferson jumped the comeback route. Williams' consecutive games with a touchdown streak ends at four. The rookie will remain a strong WR3 next week in New Orleans.

Mon Oct 21 201308:19Terrance Williams improving rapidly
Tony Romo said Terrance Williams "has improved as much as maybe anybody that I've seen in the six months he's been here."
We've seen it as well. Williams came out of Baylor billed as a one-trick pony, a strict vertical player with stiff hips that lacks quickness. In a short amount of time, he's turned himself into a player Romo doesn't want to come off the field. Over the last four games, Williams has caught 19 of the 21 passes that have come his way. With Miles Austin struggling through hamstring woes and ineffectiveness, the third-round rookie is sticking as a WR3 for the foreseeable future.

Sun Oct 20 201318:06Terrance Williams continues to outplay Austin
Terrance Williams caught six passes for 71 yards with a touchdown in Sunday's Week 7 win at Philadelphia.
Williams started ahead of Miles Austin and never looked back. Credit the Cowboys for identifying their most effective players and using them ahead of higher-paid veterans. Williams continues to impress on a weekly basis, showing more and more polish and getting plays run for him in the red zone. Today's touchdown came on a simple shallow slant from nine yards out. Averaging 4.7 catches for 80.0 yards with three touchdowns over the last four weeks, Williams will be a WR3 at Detroit in Week 8. He's Romo's No. 2 receiver.

Mon Oct 14 201301:03Terrance Williams finds end-zone again
Terrance Williams had two catches for 27 yards and one touchdown in Sunday night's Week 6 win over the Redskins.
Williams rotated with Miles Austin in two-wide sets and made an impressive 15-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter. He finished with just two targets and his role will likely continue to be limited with Austin back in the lineup. Williams is the No. 3 option in the passing game behind Dez Bryant and Jason Witten.
