Thu Sep 11 201414:58Huff won't practice this week
Huff won't practice this week, after reporting his shoulder is "85 percent" healthy, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Huff has yet to practice since sustaining an AC shoulder sprain on Aug. 15, which likely rules him out for a second consecutive regular season outing. Until he's given the all-clear to take part in drills, his NFL debut will remain in question.
Fri Sep 5 201415:09Huff (shoulder) out for Sunday's game against Jacksonville
Huff (shoulder) is out for Sunday's game against Jacksonville.
The third-round pick out of Oregon is dealing with a significant shoulder injury originally suffered August 15, and the fact that he didn't practice at all this week means his absence could extend beyond Sunday. Jordan Matthews and Brad Smith will compete for snaps behind the starting duo of Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper as long as Huff is out.
Thu Sep 4 201412:45Huff (shoulder) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice
Huff (shoulder) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
During the Eagles' second preseason contest, Huff was removed and diagnosed with an AC joint sprain. His return date has oscillated by the week, but as August concluded, there was hope that he'd be able to play in Week 1 against the Jaguars. With two absences in as many practices this week, his prospects for active status don't appear to be bright, but Friday's injury report should shed light on his chances of suiting up.

Huff (shoulder) may be able to play in Week 1 against the Jaguars, lehighvalleylive.com reports.
A previous report indicated that Huff, who suffered an AC joint sprain during the preseason, could be sidelined for multiple weeks. If healthy, he could open the years as the Eagles' No. 4 wide receiver, with the top three spots going to Jeremy Maclin, Riley Cooper and fellow rookie Jordan Matthews.
Tue Aug 19 201412:38Huff (shoulder) could be sidelined for quite some time
Huff (shoulder) could be sidelined for quite some time, CSN Philadelphia reports.
Huff injured his shoulder while returning a kickoff in Friday's preseason game and was initially expected to miss at least one week. Now, despite negative X-ray results, Huff could land on the Eagles' short-term injured reserve, if his condition hasn't improved enough by final roster cuts. While it's certainly to early to tell what Huff's fate will ultimately be, it sounds like the rookie third-rounder will at least miss the remainder of preseason action.

Huff's shoulder X-rays returning negative and the rookie is probably only going to be sidelined for one week, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Huff injured his shoulder during Friday's preseason game, but fortunately the issue is nothing serious. While it's unclear whether the rookie will be able to play in Philadelphia's next exhibition outing, he should be fine to continue competing for depth chart slotting in the near future.

Huff left Friday's preseason game with a shoulder injury and will not return, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
With Jeremy Maclin (hamstring) and Riley Cooper (foot) sidelined, Ifeanyi Momah, Arrelious Benn and Brad Smith started at wide receiver, while Huff and Jordan Matthews also saw some work in the first half. Regardless of the starting designations, Huff and Matthews should still have a shot to compete for targets behind Maclin and Cooper this season. As for Huff's injury, it's unclear whether the issue is serious, but it isn't a particularly good sign that he was ruled out for the game, given that he likely would have played in the second half.
Sat Aug 2 201418:56Huff practicing at both inside and outside receiver
Huff has been practicing at both inside and outside receiver, Philly.com reports.
The Eagles are evidently preparing Huff to contribute in more ways than one, but those contributions probably will be limited to depth roles as a rookie. Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper are locked in as the outside receivers, and Jordan Matthews will likely be the first wideout off the bench, be it as a slot or outside receiver.
Thu Jun 19 201417:30WR Huff 'lined up almost everywhere' in OTAs
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Eagles third-round WR Josh Huff has "lined up almost everywhere" in minicamp, and worked with all three teams.
Huff had been running exclusively with the threes, but is finally getting some work with the top two teams. Per reporter Jeff McLane, Huff has a base that "looks running-back solid, and "maybe the biggest arms" he's ever seen on a wideout. McLane believes the Eagles want to get Huff out into space because he's "not afraid to take on contact." Huff is unlikely to make much of a re-draft impact behind Jeremy Maclin, Riley Cooper and Jordan Matthews, but will be a player worth tracking when the Eagles report to camp.

Mon Jun 9 201412:23Josh Huff working with third-stringers only
Third-round WR Josh Huff has consistently been running with the third-stringers during OTAs.
Huff is starting off buried, but we wouldn't completely rule out an ascension. Jeremy Maclin is coming off an ACL tear, Riley Cooper is a replacement-level talent and Huff obviously knows Chip Kelly's system well after playing at Oregon. His progress is worth monitoring.
