Fri Jul 22 201111:41Crosby, Kuhn likely to be re-signed
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Bob McGinn fully expects free agent K Mason Crosby and FG John Kuhn to re-sign with the Packers.
Both players want to return to Green Bay, and the Packers will make a fair offer. Though Crosby has been inconsistent, he's a proven cold-weather kicker, which is no small detail in the Packers' eyes.

Mon Jun 20 201115:18Crosby a priority for Packers
Re-signing free agent K Mason Crosby is a priority for the Packers, according to the Press-Gazette.
Crosby is a four-year veteran, so we're not certain yet if he'll be an unrestricted free agent. Either way, expect Crosby back in Green Bay. Despite failing to top 80 percent during any season in his career, the Packers are high on his upside.

Sun May 15 201115:11Packers plan to re-sign K Mason Crosby
The Packers plan to re-sign free agent K Mason Crosby once the lockout is lifted.
A four-year veteran, Crosby drew a second-round tender from the Packers in March. There's a chance his free agency will end up unrestricted, but it sounds like the Packers will make every effort to bring him back regardless.

Thu Mar 3 201114:57Kicker Crosby draws second-round tender
Packers extended a second-round restricted free agent tender to K Mason Crosby.
Though a fine fantasy kicker, Crosby is one of the most overrated in real life. He finished in the bottom third in kickoff distance last year while failing to top 80 percent on field goals for the fourth consecutive season. His free agency will likely be unrestricted under the next CBA.

Thu Feb 17 201111:36Packers not in contact with K Crosby
The Packers have had no contact with free agent K Mason Crosby or Crosby's agent since the end of the season.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette suggests Crosby could be a franchise tag candidate. "Honestly I'm a little bit surprised (that they haven't used the tag), just cover your tracks," agent Mike McCartney said. "The (tender) number is not outrageous. I think they have until next, what, Wednesday?"

Sun Feb 6 201109:01Crosby not known for late-game heroics
Packers K Mason Crosby hasn't kicked a last-second, game-winning field goal since the first game of his rookie season in 2007.
He booted a 53-yarder to beat the Eagles that day. With four of the past 10 Super Bowls being decided by three points, this evening's game could certainly come down to Crosby or Pittsburgh's Shaun Suisham. Including the playoffs, Crosby has converted 24-of-31 field-goal tries this season, and is 11-of-15 from 40 yards or longer. Suisham has gone 16-of-18, but has not attempted a try of longer than 48 yards.

Wed Aug 4 201011:43Coach blames hold for Crosby's struggled
Special teams coach Shawn Slocum blamed faulty holds and timing issues for the five field goals Mason Crosby missed earlier this week.
Crosby went 6-for-6 on Tuesday, squashing fears about his accuracy for now. The Packers don't seem concerned about Crosby and aren't bringing in competition. That could all change if he goes through the shanks again. If Crosby holds the job, he's a very viable fantasy option in Green Bay's high-powered offense.

Mon Aug 2 201022:07Mason Crosby struggling on field goals
So far in training camp, Packers K Mason Crosby is just 6-of-11 on practice field goal attempts.
He shanked both of his 40-yard tries on Monday. Coach Mike McCarthy says Crosby's job is not in danger: "We are confident in Mason's ability as we go forward. The two kicks that he missed ... he has to make the kicks and we've got to make sure the operation is correct. I'm not concerned with Mason Crosby."

Thu Jun 17 201011:09Packers won't bring in competition for Crosby
Coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that the Packers have no plans to bring in competition for K Mason Crosby this summer.
"We're committed to Mason," McCarthy said. While McCarthy's vote of confidence is a good sign for Crosby's fantasy value, the fourth-year kicker will have to reverse a trend that has seen him losing accuracy and consistency the past two seasons.

Thu May 6 201009:13Packers bring in no competition for Crosby
The Packers have still not brought in any competition for K Mason Crosby.
It looks like the Packers are going to trust the talented Crosby to work out his troubles. He was just 6-for-13 from 40+ yards out last season and recorded bad misses from 34,38, 42 and 43 yards out. If Crosby can get some confidence in camp, he'll be a solid fantasy option thanks to the Packers' explosive offense.
