Evans had four catches on seven targets for 49 yards during Sunday's loss to the Packers.
After recording 458 yards between Weeks 9 and 11, Evans has failed to reach the 50-yard mark for five consecutive games. He had four touchdowns in his last four games heading into Sunday, which has helped mask his reduced production, but it came crashing down Sunday when he was unable to get in the end zone. He'll look to bounce back in Week 17 against a Saints defense allowing the fifth-most passing yards per game this season.

Evans had two catches on eight targets for a season-low 13 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Panthers.
While the yardage figure was abysmal, Evans still managed to find the end zone for the ninth time in the last seven games. He continues to be heavily targeted, though quarterback Josh McCown is going to have to be more accurate if Evans is going to end his four-game streak of posting fewer than 50 yards in Week 16 against the Packers.

Evans had four catches on 11 targets for 45 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Lions.
The Detroit defense focused a lot of attention on Evans, which allowed fellow starting wideout Vincent Jackson to catch 10 passes on 17 targets for 159 yards. However, Evans was still able to grab both of quarterback Josh McCown's touchdown passes, a five-yarder in the second quarter and a 26-yard score in the fourth. Evans now has eight touchdowns in his last six games and will look to keep his excellent play going in Week 15 against the Panthers, who have allowed the ninth-most passing touchdowns this season.

Evans had four catches on a team-high nine targets for 49 yards Sunday against the Bengals.
Quarterback Josh McCown struggled for the most part, failing to throw a touchdown pass for the first time since winning his starting job back in Week 10. Those struggles contributed to Evans' four-game touchdown streak coming to an end (he had six TDs in that span), and he won't have a terribly easy time starting a new one in Week 14 against a Lions defense that has been one of the league's best units this season.

Evans had three catches on a team-high 11 targets for 47 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Bears.
While the reception and yardage marks were hardly prolific, Evans extended his touchdown streak to four games, finding the end zone for the sixth time over that span. Additionally, he's still getting plenty of targets, and while he next faces a Bengals defense that is much better against the pass than the run this season, his high target-count should at least give him an opportunity to extend his touchdown streak even further.
Sun Nov 16 201417:06Mike Evans: Career-High 209 Yards
Evans had seven catches on nine targets for a career-high 209 yards and two touchdowns Sunday against the Redskins, becoming the first rookie wide receiver to record at least 100 yards and score a touchdown in three straight games since Randy Moss in 1998, according to ESPN.com.
Evans has been absolutely phenomenal over the three-game span, catching 21 passes on 29 targets for 458 yards and five touchdowns. He has clearly taken the reigns from Vincent Jackson as the top wideout in Tampa with Josh McCown under center, something that will surely continue after leading the Bucs to their first win since Week 4.

Evans had seven catches on nine targets for 125 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Falcons.
Despite the change in quarterback from Mike Glennon to Josh McCown, Evans posted his second straight game with at least 120 yards and a touchdown. He now has five touchdowns in his last five games (missing Week 5 due to injury), as he seems to have supplanted Vincent Jackson as the top wideout in Tampa. Up next is a Week 11 matchup against the Redskins, who are allowing the seventh-fewest passing yards per game this season, but have allowed 18 passing touchdowns, tied for the second-most in the NFL.

Evans had seven catches on 11 targets for a career-high 124 yards and two touchdowns Sunday against the Browns.
Evans has now scored four touchdowns in his last four games, as he and fellow wideout Vincent Jackson, who had six catches on 12 targets for 86 yards Sunday, continue to dominate the looks from quarterback Mike Glennon. Things could continue to trent up for Evans, as the Bucs will host the Falcons in Week 10, a team that is allowing the third-most passing yards per game this season.

Evans had four catches on a team-high seven targets for 78 yards Sunday against the Vikings.
Evans' two-game touchdown streak came to an end, but he continues to get a decent number of targets, averaging 7.25 per game over his last four. He appears to be over the groin injury that kept him out in Week 5 against the Saints and he'll look to get back into the end zone in Week 9 against the Browns, a team that is much better against the pass than the run this season.

Evans (groin) had four catches on eight targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 48-17 loss to the Ravens.
Evans suffered his groin injury in Week 4 against the Steelers, which held him out in Week 5 against the Saints, and he has now scored touchdowns in back-to-back games, though his 65 yards in Week 4 remain his career-high. He'll be able to rest his groin now, as the Bucs are off in Week 7 before taking on the Vikings in Week 8.
Sun Oct 12 201411:45Mike Evans: (Groin) Active Sunday
Evans (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Scott Smith of the Bucs' official site reports.
The Buccaneers' top two wide receivers, Evans and Vincent Jackson (ribs), will suit up after entering the weekend with questionable status. Evans will attempt to exploit a Ravens defense that has given up 201 receiving yards per contest to opposing WR this season.
Sun Oct 12 201409:15Evans (groin) expected to play Sunday against Ravens
Evans (groin) is expected to play Sunday against the Ravens, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Evans was a limited participant in practice each day this week, but he will reportedly give it a go, as will Vincent Jackson (ribs), who was also questionable. It's a promising matchup for the two wideouts, as the Ravens enter Week 6 ranked 26th in the NFL by allowing 269.2 passing yards per game, though they lead the NFL with only four-passing touchdowns allowed.
Fri Oct 10 201417:16Mike Evans: (Groin) Questionable Against Ravens
Evans (groin) is questionable for Sunday's game against Baltimore.
Evans might not be at full strength, but the fact that he logged limited practices each day this week gives reason to hope for an imminent return, perhaps as soon as Sunday. If Evans is healthy enough to play, he may see a bigger share of the targets with Vincent Jackson (ribs) questionable. The Buccaneers have an early kickoff Sunday.
Thu Oct 9 201416:36Mike Evans: (Groin) Limited Again Thursday
Evans (groin) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Earlier Thursday, Auman suggested that Evans is moving in the right direction in his quest to achieve active status Sunday versus the Ravens. Two capped showings in drills this week certainly substantiate such a thought process, but Friday's injury report will include the final word on the rookie receiver's availability.
Thu Oct 9 201414:26Mike Evans: (Groin) Trending In Right Direction
Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times speculates that Evans (groin) is trending in the right direction to achieve active status Sunday against the Ravens.
Evans attended his second practice in a row Thursday, one day removed from making a surprise appearance. After a limited showing Wednesday, his level of participation Thursday is unclear. However, owners should watch for the release of the final injury report of the week, which should reveal his Week 6 availability.
Wed Oct 8 201418:17Mike Evans: (Groin) Limited Wednesday
Evans (groin) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.
Clad in full pad, Evans appeared to be going through the motions, as his top flight speed wasn't evident while catching passes, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports. More significant, though, was his ability to practice less than two weeks removed from sustaining a groin strain, which was expected to keep him sidelined for 2-to-3 weeks. Nonetheless, his status should be viewed closely as the week carries on in order to learn his availability for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Wed Oct 8 201414:13Mike Evans: (Groin) Practices Wednesday
Evans (groin) took part in Wednesday's practice, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Although he was donning full pads, Evans wasn't running at top speed while catching passes. In fact, his locomotion was more of a jog, meaning he likely logged a limited practice. No matter, his presence is encouraging, as he was expected to miss 2-to-3 weeks after suffering a strained groin on Sept. 28. Expect his activity level to be confirmed in short order.

Evans has been ruled out for two or three weeks after suffering a groin strain Sunday, FOX Sports reports.
Evans injured his groin while running a deep route Sunday, forcing him into an early exit against the Steelers. Before suffering the groin strain, Evans recorded 65 yards on four catches and scored his first career touchdown. Nonetheless, the Buccaneers' rookie first-rounder will now be sidelined for at least a couple weeks, which could lead into Tampa Bay's Week 7 bye. Until then, recent signing Louis Murphy could enjoy an expanded role, especially after coming up with a team-leading six catches (on 11 targets) for 99 yards in his Buccaneers' debut Sunday.

Evans (groin) said after Sunday's game that he is not sure about the severity of his injury, the The Tampa Bay Times reports.
Evans pulled up short on a deep route in the third quarter, leading to an easy Pittsburgh interception. He referred to the injury as "a little tweak", but also added that he wasn't able to run, which was quite obvious on the aforementioned play. Louis Murphy got added playing time in Evans' absence, finishing with six catches for 99 yards. Evans had a solid day himself, hauling in 4-of-7 targets for 65 yards and his first career touchdown

Evans suffered a groin injury during the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Steelers and will not return.
Evans pulled up lame on a deep route and will now miss the remainder of Sunday's contest. At the moment the extent of his injury is unclear. Prior to leaving Sunday's game, Evans caught four passes (on six targets) for 65 yards and a touchdown.
