Look for Manziel to continue to see sporadic, situational work in Kyle Shanahan's offense, but he likely won't be threatening Hoyer's job any time soon.

His main competition -- Brian Hoyer -- completed just 2-of-6 passes for 16 yards, but with neither candidate truly standing out, it now appears that Hoyer will win the job by default. The Cleveland coaching staff is expected to get together at some point Tuesday to officially announce the Week 1 starter, and Manziel's chances currently aren't looking good. There may still be time left in the preseason for a turnaround, but Manziel would have to perform drastically better if he's even going to be considered.
