Seferian-Jenkins (ankle) practiced Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Seferian-Jenkins was limited, but his presence on the field, in any capacity, bodes well for his chances of returning to action Sunday against the Steelers.

Seferian-Jenkins (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Falcons, the Buccaneers' official site reports.
With Seferian-Jenkins still out, Brandon Myers is in line to continue to serve as the Bucs' most targeted TE in the team's passing game in Week 3.

Seferian-Jenkins (ankle) did not practice Tuesday, the Tampa Tribune reports.
Seferian-Jenkins missed Sunday's game against the Rams after tweaking his ankle during Week 1. With the Buccaneers' scheduled to play again already on Thursday, Seferian-Jenkins' chances of returning for this week don't appear favorable given his absence from practice to date.

Seferian-Jenkins (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against St. Louis.
Seferian-Jenkins got off to a fast start against the Panthers in Week 1, catching a 26-yard pass early, but this injury obviously halts his momentum for the time being. Brandon Myers could see a couple more targets Sunday.
Thu Sep 11 201419:51Seferian-Jenkins (ankle) did not practice Thursday
Seferian-Jenkins (ankle) did not practice Thursday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Seferian-Jenkins also sat out Wednesday's practice due to the ankle tweak he sustained during his NFL debut Sunday. At the moment, the rookie's Week 2 status against the Rams is uncertain. However, despite Seferian-Jenkins' obvious upside, Brandon Meyers currently remains the Buccaneers' No. 1 tight end and led the team with six receptions (on eight targets) for 41 yards in Week 1.
Wed Sep 10 201420:25Seferian-Jenkins didn't practice Wednesday due to ankle injury
Seferian-Jenkins didn't practice Wednesday due to an ankle injury, the Buccaneers' official site reports.
A walking boot was protecting Seferian-Jenkins' ailing right ankle during practice, but two more chances exist for the rookie to make an appearance in drills. Nonetheless, he remains behind Brandon Myers (six catches for 41 yards on eight targets) in the tight end pecking order.
Wed Sep 10 201414:44Seferian-Jenkins (leg) didn't partake in practice Wednesday
Seferian-Jenkins (leg) didn't partake in practice Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Seferian-Jenkins was donning a walking boot on his right foot during drills, intimating the severity of the injury. While his status appears to be up in the air at the moment, his availability for Sunday's contest against the Rams should become more clear as the weekend draws closer.
Mon Sep 8 201413:01Seferian-Jenkins
Seferian-Jenkins, who sustained what appears to be a minor leg injury Sunday against the Panthers, caught one pass (on two targets) for 26 yards in the game, the Tampa Tribune reports.
We'll track Seferian-Jenkins' status once the Bucs return to practice this week, but the rookie tight end is currently downplaying his leg issue. "My first NFL game was cut short with a little nick," Seferian-Jenkins noted. "I was held out for precautionary measures, but I'll be OK. It's too bad, too, because they couldn't guard me." Down the road, Seferian-Jenkins could emerge as a fantasy lineup option, but we'd like to see him turn in a full and productive game before suggesting him as more than a speculative fantasy play.

Seferian-Jenkins caught his only target for 11 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Bills.
Seferian-Jenkins and Brandon Myers both saw significant work with the first-team offense, and Myers failed to record a reception on two targets. Though he was listed fourth on the initial preseason depth chart, Seferian-Jenkins isn't competing against anyone besides Myers. Not only does the rookie seemingly have a shot to start over Myers, but the Bucs figure to make frequent use of two-TE sets, as they lack a reliable third receiver, and don't have a proven fullback.
Wed Aug 6 201418:00Seferian-Jenkins has had strong training camp
Seferian-Jenkins has had a strong training camp, the Buccaneers' official site reports.
The report adds that the rookie has been catching everything in sight in camp, and while Seferian-Jenkins was listed as the Bucs' No. 4 tight end on their initial preseason depth chart (behind Brandon Myers, Timothy Wright and Luke Stocker), that ranking seems to be indicative of the team's reluctance to initially hand out top slots to its rookies. Another example of that line of thinking is that highly-touted wideout Mike Evans is currently listed behind Chris Owusu.

Buccaneers offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford said that Seferian-Jenkins has picked up the offense quickly, ESPN's Adam Caplan reports.
Seferian-Jenkins got a late start due to his school's schedule and a stress fracture in his left foot, but Tedford said he can tell that the tight end has been studying. While the rookie second-round pick has competition for snaps in the form of Tim Wright and Brandon Myers, he should benefit from his reputation as a good blocker. He may not profile as an elite threat in the passing game, but Seferian-Jenkins is the rare tight end with potential to be well above average as both a blocker and receiver.

Seferian-Jenkins has made a strong transition into the Buccaneers' offense during the early portion of training camp, NFL.com reports.
Seferian-Jenkins opened training camp behind schedule, since he couldn't join Tampa Bay until after graduating from the University of Washington. That being said, the rookie tight end hit the ground running with the Bucs and has reportedly impressed the team's coaching staff with his performance in camp thus far. At 6-5, 260 pounds, Seferian-Jenkins embodies a huge red zone target that should push both Brandon Myers and Timothy Wright for looks to begin this season.
Wed Jul 30 201423:18Seferian-Jenkins 'picking things up quickly'
After visiting Bucs camp Wednesday, NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah came away believing team brass is "pumped" about second-round TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins, who is "picking things up quickly."
Coach Lovie Smith stated at the start of camp that ASJ was "behind a lot" after missing spring work due to the University of Washington's late graduation. Things have apparently changed in a hurry for Seferian-Jenkins, who "made a lot of plays" during Wednesday's workouts. At 6'6/252 with a 37 1/2-inch vertical, ASJ is a rookie to monitor in touchdown-heavy fantasy leagues.

Mon Jul 28 201412:04Austin Seferian-Jenkins is 'behind a lot'
Coach Lovie Smith said second-round TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins is "behind a lot."
Seferian-Jenkins's surgically-repaired foot is fine, but he's trying to learn the playbook and get into football shape at the same time. His curve has been slowed by the the University of Washington's late graduation. Look for ASJ to be a role player in Week 1 before gradually moving ahead of Brandon Myers and Tim Wright.

Sat Jul 19 201418:43Seferian-Jenkins on track for start of camp
Pewter Report's Scott Reynolds "would be very surprised" if TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins (foot) isn't ready for the first week of training camp.
Seferian-Jenkins missed OTAs and minicamp due to Washington's late graduation. The time off should have allowed him to fully recover from the foot injury that forced him to sit out the Combine. ASJ doesn't project for many targets in Jeff Tedford's run-based offense, but could be an immediate red-zone contributor. He'll enter camp behind Brandon Myers and Tim Wright. Seferian-Jenkins will push for early-season snaps even if he isn't the Week 1 starter.

Thu Jul 10 201412:47ASJ 'confident' he will be ready for camp
Buccaneers TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins (foot) is "confident" he be ready for training camp.
"I feel really good. My foot feels really good," Seferian-Jenkins said "I've been running routes, doing all the exercise and workout drills that they've asked me to do. I feel very comfortable." ASJ missed all of Bucs OTAs and minicamp because of Washington's late graduation, so he will likely be behind Brandon Myers and Tim Wright when camp begins. He should push for snaps early, though, and could develop into a red-zone threat as soon as this season. Seferian-Jenkins is a TE2 flier in redraft formats.

Mon Jun 23 201413:05Seferian-Jenkins missed OTAs & minicamp
Second-round pick Austin Seferian-Jenkins missed all of Bucs OTAs and minicamp due to the University of Washington's late graduation.
Seferian-Jenkins will therefore be behind Brandon Myers and Tim Wright when training camp starts, though we'd expect him to push for early-season snaps, even if he isn't an every-down player when the season opens. We'll find out more about ASJ's rookie-year outlook in August. For now, he's a lower-end fantasy TE2. Seferian-Jenkins' long-term projection remains as a high-scoring TE1.
