Colts CB Jerraud Powers broke his right forearm in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.
Powers is almost certainly done for the season. It's another huge injury in a season full of them for the Colts. With Kelvin Hayden (neck) already out, this secondary is one to pick on.

Colts coach Jim Caldwell isn't ready to commit to CB Jerraud Powers (foot) playing this weekend.
Powers, who didn't quite put in a full practice Wednesday, has said he'll be ready, but Caldwell cautioned that Powers will be monitored in practice this week and, "We'll see how it goes." Powers said he expects to be matched up against Terrell Owens this week. TO owners, take note, as Powers has been terrific this year when healthy.

Wed Nov 10 201012:47Powers says he's ready to return
Colts CB Jerraud Powers (foot) will practice Wednesday and says he's ready to return to action.
Powers hasn't played since Week 6. His return is huge for Indy, as the second-year man has quickly established himself as one of the league's best young cornerbacks. It's bad news for Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco, who will be matched up against the Colts and Powers in Week 10.

Sat Oct 30 201014:49Powers & Lacey miss practice, questionable
Colts CB's Jerraud Powers and Jacob Lacey both did not participate in Saturday's practice.
The two cornerbacks are each listed as questionable. Andre Johnson owners are salivating at the prospect of Powers sitting out, as the second year corner has established himself as one of the best in the league. If both can't go, Justin Tryon and Deshea Townsend will need to step up.

Colts CB Jerraud Powers (ankle) will likely be listed as questionable for Monday's Week 8 game against Houston.
The Colts are extremely thin in the secondary, and Aaron Francisco would most likely come in if Powers can't go. Upgrade the entire Texans' wide receiver corp.

Wed Sep 8 201023:30Jerraud Powers not on injury report
Colts CB Jerraud Powers is not listed on the Week 1 injury report.
Powers had foot surgery this offseason, costing him some preseason action. He'll be in the starting lineup (and needed) against Houston's high-octane passing game. Nickel back Jacoby Lacey's (concussion) status is uncertain, however, meaning Deshea Townsend could be forced into regular snaps.
Tue Aug 24 201010:24Powers could be held out
Soreness in Colts CB Jerraud Powers' surgically repaired left foot could keep him out for the final two preseason games.
He had been practicing without incident and started the preseason opener, but the soreness has cropped up. "There is nothing wrong with it," Powers said. "I didn't reinjure it. It's just sore." This shouldn't be a big issue, but keep an eye on it.
