Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports that Juan Rincon is drawing interest from MLB teams and intends to pitch in 2014. |
The 34-year-old right-hander hasn't appeared in the majors since a two-inning stint with the Rockies during the 2010 season. He spent 2013 in the Independent League, where he posted a 3.26 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 43/19 K/BB ratio over 47 innings. He'll undoubtedly have to settle for a minor league deal and spring training invite, but represents a nice low-risk signing. |
