The Dolphins' situation at kicker is reaching a boiling point, as last year's starter, Caleb Sturgis, has also been riding out an ailing groin. Because the organization is expected to hold open auditions in the next few days in order to fill the void, according to Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, neither Potter nor Sturgis are palatable options in terms of fantasy.
