Thu Sep 8 201123:03Lillibridge hit on hand, exits game
Brent Lillibridge was pulled from Thursday's game after getting hit by a pitch on his right hand.
Dayan Viciedo filled in at first base. Lillibridge looked to be in a good deal of pain and may have suffered something more serious than a simple hand contusion.

Wed Aug 31 201117:53Brent Lillibridge hits 13th homer
Brent Lillibridge hit his 13th homer and walked Wednesday in the loss to the Twins.
Yet, for some reason, manager Ozzie Guillen chose to have Adam Dunn pinch-hit for him in the ninth. Even though he was in the lineup because of his skill against lefties, Lillibridge also has about 80 points of OPS on Dunn against righties this season. Plus, pinch-hitting makes everyone a worse hitter anyway. It was a bad move that didn't work out, as Dunn struck out with two men on for the first out of the ninth.

Sun Aug 21 201117:21Lillibridge's homer helps power Sox
Brent Lillibridge went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Chicago's 10-0 whitewashing of the Rangers on Sunday.
Lillibridge's 11th bomb of the season was his fourth of the month, while he's now hitting .323 in August after hitting just .188 in July. He remains an acceptable AL-only league option.

Sun Aug 14 201117:40Lillibridge hits three-run bomb in win
Brent Lillibridge went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Chicago's 6-2 win over the Royals on Sunday.
He took Royals lefty Jeff Francis deep for a three-run bomb in the first. Lillibridge's 10th home run of the season was his third of the month. He's sporting a .260/.341/.500 triple slash through his first 174 plate appearances.

Wed Jun 22 201123:47Lillibridge has two-RBI night
Brent Lillibridge doubled twice and picked up two RBI as the White Sox downed the Cubs on Wednesday.
Although the RBI were just his 14th and 15th of the season, Lillibridge has been excellent in part-time duty for the White Sox, posting a .278/.377/.546 triple slash through his first 115 plate appearances.

Sat May 28 201117:57Lillibridge homers in loss to Blue Jays
Brent Lillibridge went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and two runs scored in Saturday's extra-inning loss to the Blue Jays.
He tripled in the top of the eighth inning and made a bid for another extra-base hit in the 12th, but Rajai Davis was able to track it down for the third out. Lillibridge now has five home runs over his first 51 at-bats this season after entering the year with three over his first 273 major league at-bats. While there's plenty of clamoring for him to get more playing time, he's unlikely to have much fantasy value outside of deep AL-only leagues.

Mon Apr 11 201123:14Lillibridge's homer not enough for Chicago
Brent Lillibridge's solo home run in the fifth-inning would be all the offense the White Sox could muster in their 10-inning loss to the A's on Monday.
The round-tripper was Lillibridge's first of the season and just the third of his career. Lillibridge is off to a nice start this year, hitting .333 through his first nine at-bats, but you're in trouble if he's anything other than a reserve on your AL-only team.

Tue Jul 6 201014:54Lillibridge starting third straight game Tues
Brent Lillibridge is starting a third straight game at second base Tuesday.
White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen told reporters Monday that Lillibridge will continue to start as long as he hits. He is 7-for-15 with seven RBI since being promoted from Triple-A Charlotte in June and is making Gordon Beckham a more worthless fantasy option than he already was.

Tue Jun 1 201014:24White Sox recall Lillibridge from Charlotte
White Sox recalled INF Brent Lillibridge from Triple-A Charlotte.
Lillibridge has put up an unimpressive .270/.330/.378 batting line in 185 at-bats this season for Charlotte, but the White Sox lost starting third baseman Mark Teahen on Tuesday to a fractured finger and really needed a body. Lillibridge should see a decent amount of time at third, but isn't a great fantasy option at the position because he simply doesn't produce beyond a few stolen bases.
