Most AL-only owners can afford to wait and see before picking him up.

Everett Teaford was terrific in his first major league start Sunday, tossing five scoreless innings on three hits and a walk in a 2-1 win over the Mariners.
He struck out five and picked up the first win of his MLB career. Teaford posted decent numbers as a starter in the minors, but he doesn't have the repertoire to suggest continued success is likely.
