RHP Dan Straily (10-9, 4.17 ERA) is scheduled to make his career-high 32nd start in a season Sunday. In his previous start against the New York Mets Sept. 18, Straily benefitted from 13 Miami runs as he reached double-digit season victories for the third time in his career.

3B Todd Frazier hit his 27th homer of the season in the eighth inning Saturday in the 5-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. He has driven in at least one RBI in each of his past 17 games for a total of 15 RBIs. His past nine homers have been against American League East opponents.

RHP Zack Wheeler (stress reaction in right arm) was transferred from the 10-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list Saturday. The transaction, which made room for RHP Noah Syndergaard on the 40-man roster, was purely a procedural move by the Mets, who announced Aug. 24 that Wheeler would miss the remainder of the season. Wheeler was placed on the disabled list July 24 (retroactive to July 23). He also missed 10 days in June with a right biceps injury. Wheeler, who missed the previous two seasons recovering from Tommy John surgery, finished 3-7 with a 5.21 ERA in 17 starts this season.

DH Logan Morrison continues to swing a powerful bat. Morrison clubbed his team-leading 37th home run of the season on the first pitch in the ninth inning of Saturday's 9-6 victory over the Baltimore Orioles. Morrison has now recorded hits in back-to-back games for the first time since Sept. 1-2.

RHP Jeremy Hellickson suffered his 11th loss of the season Saturday, including his sixth since being traded to the Orioles at the non-waiver trade deadline at the end of July. Hellickson allowed three earned runs on four hits over six innings in a 9-6 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. He has allowed a career-high 35 home runs this season and has lost each of his last three starts and six of nine overall.

2B Jonathan Schoop continues to manufacture extra-base hits. Schoop hit his team-leading 34th double of the season in the first inning of Saturday's 9-6 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. It was his 65th extra-base hit this season, which is the third most in the major leagues.

RF Aaron Judge struck out for the 200th time this season in the first inning of the 5-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday to set a major league record for a rookie. He is the first player in the majors to reach that plateau this season. Judge was 1-for-4 with a double but ended a 12-game streak with at least one run scored. It was the longest streak in the majors this season and the longest by a Yankee since OF Johnny Damon had a 12-game streak Aug. 17-30, 2006.

C Evan Gattis belted his 12th home run on the season, a three-run shot, in the fifth inning. It marked his first home run since July 29 at Detroit. Gattis has 50 RBIs this season, giving him at least that total in each of his first five big league seasons.

RHP Charlie Morton recorded his 10th quality start and 13th win of the season, allowing one run on four hits with five strikeouts over seven innings. In 14 starts since being activated from the 10-day disabled list on July 7, Morton is 8-4 with a 3.33 ERA with 94 strikeouts and a .211 opponent batting average.

C Kurt Suzuki agreed to a contract extension through the 2018 season, Atlanta Braves general manager John Coppolella announced Saturday. The teams did not release financial terms. Suzuki, who turns 34 next month, is batting .271 with a career-high 18 home runs in just 76 games (255 at-bats) in his first season with the Braves.

LF Justin Upton clubbed a pair of leadoff home runs in the seventh and ninth inning, producing his 16th career multi-homer game. Upton extended his single-season career high for home runs to 34. Eight of his nine hits have gone for extra bases (three doubles, five homers).

RHP Adam Morgan pitched a scoreless inning on Saturday. He has given up only two runs in his last 23 innings. He is averaging 10.26 strikeouts over nine innings.

RHP Luis Garcia saw his streak of good outings end on Saturday when he allowed three runs in the eighth inning of a game the Phillies lost. Garcia had not allowed an earned run in his previous 12 1/3 innings, a stretch of 12 appearances. His 0.48 ERA since Aug. 12 was the best among anyone with as many innings during that stretch.

CF Odubel Herrera was 0-for-4 for the second straight game and left four men on base. He entered the series with a 16-game hitting streak against the Braves. Although held hitless, Herrera ran down a long fly fall on the warning track to take away extra bases from Atlanta's Matt Adams.

RHP Henderson Alvarez pitched five shutout innings, but failed to earn his first victory in three years when the bullpen failed to hold the lead. Alvarez was seeking his first major-league win since Sept. 23, 2014, when he beat the Phillies while a member of the Miami Marlins. The veteran right-hander pitched five shutout innings in his second start since being recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

RHP Chad Bettis (1-4) took the loss Saturday night but he was fairly effective. He allowed one run, the fewest he has relinquished this season since his first start Aug. 14 versus the Braves. He did not allow run in that outing.

RHP Arodys Vizcaino struck out the side to earn his 13th save on Saturday. The third strike on the last two batters were dropped, forcing Tyler Flowers to throw each man out at first. Since his meltdown on Wednesday, when he walked all three batters he faces, Vizcaino has struck out all hitters he's faced.

LF Alex Gordon went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and has recorded a hit in 14 of his past 17 games. Gordon is batting .327 (18-for-55) during that span. "Just to see him raise his batting average the way he has in September (is nice)," Royals manager Ned Yost said.

C Salvador Perez started behind the plate Saturday after leaving Friday's game in the fourth inning upon being hit by a foul tip. Although the Royals initially said Perez experienced jaw soreness, manager Ned Yost said Perez had neck stiffness. "A little stiff, but he's fine," Yost said. Perez went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs.

DH Jose Abreu went 1-for-4 with two RBIs to reach 100 RBIs this season. He joined Joe DiMaggio and Albert Pujols as the only players with at least 25 home runs and 100 RBIs in their first four major league seasons. Abreu also joined DiMaggio, Pujols, Al Simmons and Ted Williams as the only players with at least 100 RBIs in their first four major league seasons. "It was nice," White Sox manager Rick Renteria said. "I think as much as all the different things are going on for us as a team and as an organization, you still have one guy that continues to be now, for the fourth season, a part of an elite class."
