FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the injury to Indians 1B prospect Matt McBride will not hold up the Ubaldo Jimenez deal.
Disaster averted. McBride suffered an eye fracture when he was hit by an errant ball during batting practice before Sunday's game for Double-A Akron, but the injury evidently isn't serious enough to affect the deal. The trade should be finalized soon.
