OF Ryan Raburn agreed to a minor-league contract with the Colorado Rockies on Friday. The right-handed hitting Raburn is slated to make $1.5 million if he makes the major-league roster by March 28.

Raburn was activated from the bereavement list Saturday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Raburn was placed on the bereavement list Tuesday, but he'll rejoin the club on Saturday, as was expected. He won't be in the lineup, however, as the Indians will deploy Lonnie Chisenhall and Mike Aviles in the corner outfield spots Saturday against the Twins.

Raburn has taken some time to be with his family after being placed on the bereavement list Tuesday, but now appears ready to rejoin the club. When he's activated, the club will need to make a corresponding move to open up a spot on the 25-man roster.

The Indians placed Raburn on the bereavement list Tuesday.

Raburn will be away from the Indians for 3-to-7 days while he deals with a personal matter. Zach Walters was called up from Triple-A Columbus to take Raburn's place on the roster.
