Mon Oct 11 202120:37Lance Lynn Could Be Used Out Of The Pen In Game 4
Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn could be utilized by manager Tony La Russa out of the bullpen in Game 4. The team is trailing the Houston Astros 2-1 in the ALDS and they are facing elimination in Game 4, which is set for Tuesday after being postponed on Monday. Carlos Rodon will be starting the game for the White Sox, but Lynn, who pitched Game 1 of the series, could work in a tandem role after him. On Monday, La Russa stated, "Lance was actually in spikes and uniform in the bullpen last night." If the White Sox are able to win Game 4 without Lynn, then he would instead be the likely starter for Game 5. If Lynn pitches in a White Sox win on Tuesday, expect to see Lucas Giolito on the mound for Game 5.

Thu Oct 7 202120:33Lance Lynn Gets Rocked In Game 1 Of ALDS
Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn struggled in a Game 1 loss to the Houston Astros to open up the ALDS. The veteran only lasted 3 2/3 innings in the contest and allowed six hits, five runs, two walks and struck out four on the afternoon. The big hurler had a great regular season with a 11-6 record to go along with a 2.69 ERA, but just didn't have his best stuff on Thursday. Manager Tony La Russa pulled Lynn with just 76 pitches and it's fair to wonder if he will be in play for Game 4, if necessary.

Tue Sep 7 202122:27Lance Lynn Has Bullpen On Tap For Friday
Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn (knee) is expected to complete a bullpen session on Friday, according to James Fegan of The Athletic. Lynn, placed on the injured list on August 31, experienced right knee inflammation before being sidelined. Fantasy managers are hoping he can make a quick recovery as he's been pitching some of the best baseball of his career this season. He has a 2.59 ERA with a 27.3 K% and a 1.08 WHIP over 135.2 innings. If manager Tony La Russa is right, Lynn should be back on the mound for Friday's game against the Boston Red Sox.

Wed Sep 1 202108:51Lance Lynn Placed On Injured List With Knee Inflammation
The Chicago White Sox placed starting pitcher Lance Lynn (knee) on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday due to right knee inflammation. The move is retroactive to August 29. White Sox manager Tony La Russa didn't seem too concerned about the injury. He told reporters that he expects for Lynn to only miss one start. Lynn has had a fantastic season, but he is coming off of his worst start of the year. This past Saturday, he surrendered a season-high seven runs over five innings to the Chicago Cubs. If La Russa's premonition holds true, then Lynn would likely make his next start on Friday, September 10 against the Boston Red Sox.

Sat Aug 28 202122:08Lance Lynn Gets Roughed Up In Ugly Loss
Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn had his worst start of the season on Saturday versus the Chicago Cubs. Lynn has been dominant this season, but just didn't have this evening. The big hurler was able to make it through five innings, but he allowed seven hits, seven runs, two walks and struck out seven. Managers shouldn't panic about Saturday's performance and it should be chalked up as just a bad outing for Lynn. For the season, Lynn is now 10-4 with a 2.59 ERA. The veteran will look to get back on track versus the Kansas City Royals on Saturday.

Thu Aug 19 202108:26Lance Lynn Ejected After Tossing Belt At Umpire
Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn was ejected from Wednesday's game against the Oakland Athletics in the middle of the fourth inning. Lynn had already given Lentz his glove and hat, but Lentz went on to request Lynn's belt as well. Lynn threw the belt at Lentz and that was enough to prompt Lentz to eject him. Lynn was pitching well in the game before the ejection. He went four innings and allowed three hits, three walks and one earned run while striking out four. Sun Jul 25 202122:53Red Sox score 5 runs in 8th inning, rally past Yankees 5-4
BOSTON (AP) — Held hitless into the eighth inning by Domingo Germán and looking feeble, Alex Verdugo and the Boston Red Sox suddenly erupted for five runs and stormed past the New York Yankees 5-4 Sunday. Verdugo opened the eighth with a long double for Boston’s first hit. Later, Kiké Hernández slid home headfirst on Xander Bogaerts’ sacrifice fly with the go-ahead run to cap the rally. The Red Sox won for the 10th time in 13 games against the Yankees and reclaimed first place in the AL East, a game ahead of Tampa Bay. New York fell nine games behind Boston. Boston trailed 4-0 when Verdugo doubled to deep right, and Germán was lifted after the hit. Jonathan Loaisiga (7-4) relieved, and Boston broke loose with four straight hits. Hunter Renfroe had an RBI double, Christian Vázquez singled home a run and Hernández followed with an RBI double, cutting it to 4-3.
