Crockett was called up from Triple-A Columbus on Thursday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Crockett and Jeff Manship will come up from Triple-A to replace Zach Walters, who was optioned Thursday, and Shaun Marcum, who was designated for assignment. In three appearances for Cleveland this season, Crockett has not allowed hit while walking three and striking out four in 2.1 cumulative innings.

Crockett was optioned to AAA Columbus Sunday morning.

Crockett has appeared in three games for the Indians. He has pitched 2.1 innings with four strikeouts and 3 walks. He has posted a 1.286 WHIP. Despite being optioned, Crockett could be available if the Indians need more bullpen help.

Crockett (hamstring) made first appearance Monday since exiting his last appearance with a hamstring injury.

Crockett will resume his bid to earn a spot as the third lefty in the Cleveland bullpen.

Crockett said he is OK after leaving Friday's Cactus League game with a tight right hamstring, Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

The lefty was forced off the hill after issuing a walk to the first batter he faced, but manager Terry Collins said afterward that he didn't think it was anything serious and Crockett reiterated as much Saturday. Crockett is expected to get some throwing work in Saturday, though it's uncertain when he may be cleared to pitch in a game again.

Crockett exited Friday's game after facing just one batter with a tight hmamstring, MLB.com reports. "He just had a tight hammy," manager Terry Francona said ."He really wanted to stay in, but I didn't think that made a whole lot of sense. He's just tight. There's nothing that's [serious], but he looked like he was altering his delivery a little bit. We don't need him to do that."

Consider him day-to-day for now. Crockett's looking to lock down a spot in the Cleveland bullpen as one of three southpaws after spinning a 1.80 ERA with 28 strikeouts in 30 innings for the Tribe last season.

Crockett will start the suspended game Monday against the Royals, the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Paul Hoynes reports.

The game was suspended in the 10th inning with Cleveland ahead 4-2, so Crockett is unlikely to contribute much from a fantasy standpoint, and many leagues won't even be counting the stats from the suspended game.

Crockett gave up just the second homer of his major league career in relief Sunday against the Orioles.

Crockett has still been solid out of the bullpen in his rookie year, posting a 1.54 ERA and 22:6 K:BB ratio over 23.1 innings.
